Baby for the Billionaire #3

The Tycoon's Proposal

Rate this book
Nicole Lander has no choice but to contact Ryan Titan, the boy she had loved beyond compare when she was a teenager. Her sister was in desperate need of a heart operation, or she would not live more than six months. Nicole had lied to

Ryan when they were teen's because she had not wanted him to find out about the abuse she was going through from her father.
When Ryan Titan gets the call from Nicole, needing his help, he is ecstatic. He would finally get to exact his revenge for her dumping him for not being good enough for her. He will help out her sister, but she will pay him back every night until he is done with her. The problem is that he has never felt about any other woman the way he feels about Nicole, and his revenge is turning into him wanting to walk her down the aisle.

This is the final book in the Baby for a Billionaire Series. I truly hope you have enjoyed the Titan family. It is hard for me to say goodbye to them.

Spoiler Alert

I am so disappointed with how the author portrayed Ryan. He was the biggest a** ever!!! Not only that but the story was bad too! He almost hit her and them all of a sudden he learns of her past, admits to loving her and boom asks her to marry him??? And it took over 80% of the book to even get there!?! He was mean the entire book and then the author quickly wraps the book up at the end with them admitting their love. But even though Ryan was softening, he was still very mean. It just didn't work. I don't know why the author went this direction since he always seemed like a nice guy. Even if his heart had been broken, it was 12 years ago when he was 18!! Ryan's character got a bad story, that sums it up.

This book was a decent story of power and love.

There were multiple times the hero bordered on...well it's hard to say this sensitively...but rape, or forcing himself on his live in GF and there were times he was very close to physical violence. To Ryan...NO never-ever means NO. For him it means I will keep going til you're so turned on you won't want me to stop AFTER the heroine tells him 'NO' a dozen times. It bothered and troubled me over and over. This must be a favored subject of the authors because it has been a theme in two of the four books in this series. In both of these stories not only was their parent abusive throughout their childhood into adulthood but the boyfriends seem always on the ledge of being out of control.

Nicole Lander was in love with Ryan Titan in high school and she never got over him. She ended their relationship because she didn't want him to think her weak and pathetic because of the abuse she took at home to protect her little sister. Now that sister needs heart surgery to save her life and Nicole contacts Ryan for financial help because he always loved her little sis.

Ryan Titan is a handsome billionaire bachelor with no designs of a permanent relationship. He only wants revenge against the woman he thinks left him because he was poor and not good enough. When she calls, he offers to fund the surgery but in return he expects her to live in his home and basically meet his every need and whim the very second he demands it and demands it he does.

It was an okay love story, but honestly, I was a bit put off by Ryan and his heavy-handed ways. I have never seen such arrogance as these Titans have, but I think Ryan was the worst of them.

This is not a book I would read again.

I liked the first two books in this series and hoped to like this one. I was SADLY disappointed. I understand the whole revenge thing, but this was beyond that. What happened to the Ryan from the previous books? He certainly wasn’t here. This Ryan was a manipulative, abusive, egotistical jerk. Ironic that he didn’t want anyone else to know about their deal because then they would see him for the sadistic creep he was here. How are we supposed to believe he loves Nicole, when Ryan forces her to prostitute herself with him under the pretense that it is the only way to get her sister the help she needs?

This time around Melody Anne truly disappointed.

Ryan Titan wants revenge on Nicole. They dated when they were teens. She was being physically abused by her father. Beaten so badly she could no longer hide the bruises from Ryan so she broke up with him. She didn't want him to know what a coward "she thought" she was. Nicole was very brave she was taking the beating so her younger baby sister Patsy would not be abused too.

Fast Foward 12 years later Pasty's need a major Heart Surgery and Nicole can't afford it. She took her sister and they had ran away when she turned 18. She worked 20 hour days and struggled so her sister could have a life.

Nicole works up the courage to ask Ryan for the money. When they were younger and Patsy was a toddler she loved Ryan and he loved her. As soon as Nicole hangs up the phone Ryan finds the best Thorachic Heart Surgeon and has Patsy moved from the ward of the hospital to a private room. He moves swiftly to insure Patsy has the best medical care available. He doesn't tell Nicole. But decided to use her and get his revengen on her. By blackmailing her into becoming his mistress. He is shocked when he realizes she is a virgin.

Ryan was a fool but he was not really abusive. He thought she walked out on him for someone better!! He took excellant care of Nicole and Patsy. He gave them everything they could ever want. But the ABUSE that Nicole went through at the hands of her father was Not Necessary. There is nothing romantic about children being physically and mentally tormented and abused. Ryan had no idea until almost the very end of the story as to the truth of what Nicole had endure.

Shame on You Meldody Anne. You should not use abused children as a backdrop in a romance story!!

I loved the conclusion to this series. Ryan and Nicole were high school sweet hearts like Derek and Jasmine. Nicole left Ryan making him believe she thought she was better than him but she actually left him to hide her abuse at home. Twelve years later she calls him up to help her sister Patsy get lifesaving surgery. Sparks fly again for these Almost lovers. She had never in her twenty-eight years been with a man because dating was really never an option with her constantly working and raising her sister. Ryan having no idea the abuse strike up a deal in order to save her sister. She will live with him and he will have her until he is through with her. The love hate relationship ensues. When everything comes out in the open, Ryan feels like a bastard which he should and finally proposes to the women he is hopelessly in love with. That same day Nicole finally take a pregnancy test to confirm she is pregnant. The story ends two and a half years later with the cousins loving their wives and families and ever wondering why they ever dreaded it.

If I could give this book a zero rating I would. It was the most horrible thing I have ever read. The writing is so bad I had to force myself to continue reading. There's little to no description as well. I had to wait through half the book to find out what either of the main characters look like. Besides all that the actually plot was horrendous. I don't know how one author could use so many bad plot devices in a single novel. The love scenes were unrealistic and the main male character Ryan was a complete controlling chauvinistic asshole.

I liked the plot but Ryan was way OTP. The cousins were all a-holes in the beginning but Ryan topped the list. Also felt like certain moments/ events were missing from the story, too rushed. I also didn't understand how Nicole could still love someone that was so different from who she fell in love with. Ryan basically treated her like a prostitute. And even though he provided for her, he was pushy about it and was disrespectful almost the entire time. Only at the end did he redeem himself and by then it felt like too little too late for me. Overall, I liked the story, it was a page turner and I couldn't put it down.

This book started out with Nicole’s sister needing surgery. No matter how many hours Nicole worked she couldn’t afford the surgery. She had no choice but to call Ryan her ex-boyfriend for help. Ryan still carried feelings of resentment for the way Nicole dumped him years ago. He would help Pasty, and at the same time get revenge. I normally don’t like books where the main characters want revenge, but this one ended up to be a really sweet romance. Nicole, and Ryan loved each other in high school. After they broke up, they never gave their hearts away to anyone else. When they got back together, they did fight, but that love was still there. I loved the way Nicole would find ways to defy Ryan. She never took advantage of Ryan’s wealth. She wouldn’t wear clothes that he bought her, and she drove her own car till it wouldn’t run anymore. I did get a chuckle at how Ryan got her to wear other clothes. I really enjoyed this book! The whole series is one of my favorites. I have read all 3 books many times.

Ryan was the cruelest and biggest jerk of the three cousins. I didn't care for him when I met his character in book one. So I'm not surprised I didn't like his story as much.

The whole story line of Nicole's sister needing a special surgery? Yeah- it could have gone off better. She's not really in the book as much as I thought she should be. Well, she is - but isn't to my satisfaction. I hate how this storyline makes Nicole into a kept woman by jerkface Ryan. I hated how he treats her, and how her body was always traitorous towards him. I did like how she never gave in to his 'gifts'. And I hated how he realizes she might have been a virgin, then dismisses it and the subject is never brought up again.

Her reason for dumping him as teens was lame to me. So him wanting to have revenge on her, was lame too.

I wanted her to let him have it more- when he spills the beans- but nope! I wanted his cousins to clue in better like the other books, but nope!

Sigh. Oh well. But now I see Damien- a friend of trinity's from book two, has his own book. Maybe I'll try that.

Okay so with all the 1-2 stars I was thinking this book wasn't going to be good...but seriously I don't understand why people said it wasn't any good. I found it to be a great addition to the series...Ryan was an asshole at the beginning of the book, but so was Derek in the first book. What I really liked about the book is that Nicole's character had a history of abuse, and not many Romance novels that I have read breach the subject. It was a great story line IMO.
Well worth a 5 star rating!

Please remember to not judge a book by just one or two ratings, but give it a chance and see for yourself if you like it because you could miss out on a really great book.

A solid 4

lol i forgot i had to write a review anyway here goes
I loved this book so much it was cute had the right amount of drama and really loved the male character. Ryan did have an ego don't get me wrong but i loved his confession of love to Nicole it was so Romantic and sweet made me feel hella single.

TURN OFFS.
Nicole had too much pride in my opinion such that it blinded her so much that she couldn't see when Ryan was expressing his feelings.
How the heck did she not know that she was about 4/5 months pregnant.....like bro its your body. I understand they talk about her being under weight so she takes that as her gaining weight. like you mean to tell me that she did not have any symptoms....like vomiting or she didn't notice that she didn't get her period.
Also i hate the fact that they did not address the virgin aspect issue. like the first time they have sex...he didn't even bother to go check on her the morning after he noticed the blood on the sheets. he basically believed that there is no way a woman like her at her age can be a virgin, so what if he hurt her...he could have at-least tried to ask if she was okay.

I'm re-thinking my 4-star rating....i will give it some time because it did have some good qualities.

I really didn’t expect to love this story as much as I did . I think the cover reminds me of my grandmother’s romance novels and when a friend rec’ed this to me I was shocked . Anyone who follows me knows my crack are alpha males so alpha they will throw the heroine over their shoulder and take her if she doesn’t listen . Some call it obsessive or abusive but it isn’t to me at all . Now I’m not talking about someone breaking their wife’s nose or something ridiculous, starving her in a basement Ect. I just mean an overprotective caveman who wants to give his woman the world and protect her from everything. That is the love I read for . I am a huge fan of Ryan’s Neanderthal ways and I hope all of this writers heroes are like him .

The Tycoon's Proposal is book three in Melody Anne's series Baby for the Billionaire. This story checked off a number of things I love in my romance reads,
1. ALPHA wealthy Hero.....check.
2. Sweetheart from the past who broke the Hero's heart....check
3. Heroine was abused but has survived the abuse.....check
4. Heroine is in dyer need and needs to contact Hero for help.....
5. Heroine remained a virgin after all these years.......check
Romance formulas are not difficult and what makes the difference between the bland, ho-hm reads vs good or great stories is the talent of the author. In my opinion Melody Anne is a good talented author who penned good and entertaining story with The Tycoon's Proposal.

I did find one flaw in this story. The bickering between Nicole Lander, our heroine and Ryan Titan, our hero, was juvenile, at best, and went on and on and on. Nicole is a woman who suffered abuse for most of her childhood from her dad and survived it. She waited until she was 18 to leave so she could take her young sister with her and save her from any abuse. She sacrifices and does without while working several jobs just to take care of the medical bills do to her sisters poor health. She loved Ryan so much that she remained a virgin. Yet the author portrayed her personality and relationship with Ryan as childish, all I could think when reading their banter was "are these adults or teenagers". And Ryan, our alpha male hero, billionaire powerhouse businessman, did not know Nicole was a virgin? He sees the blood after a night of passion and thinks, maybe I was a bit rough? This fighting and bickering continued pretty much the entire story....So for me it was a major flaw in the book. I am hoping that the forth book in the series is better, The Tycoon's Secret. The sensual and passion level in this book I would rate a 8 hot and sizzling.

The premise was good but it was a bit dragging for me to start with. It got interesting in the part where she wanted to meet up with him but fell flat when the sister got in the picture. The sister was 4 yrs old when she last saw him but 8 yrs later she remembered him! really? what 4 yr old remembers a person that only existed in her life for one year? When I was 4, i can't remember my own name, let alone a man who is not related to me. Don't even get me starting with the Nicole the heroine! She is the most stubborn, annoying and ungrateful heroine I have ever read. Ok, sure she has her pride, whatever, but constantly rejecting the things he was offering for her comfort and her sister's is just plain ungrateful and rude! It got to a point where I just didn't like her anymore. Ryan, is ok typical domineering playboy, who is just so in love with Nicole!I rate this 3.5 because i love the premise and the effort but really, I don't get the 4.25 rating for this because this was just annoying to read.

Really annoyed how Ryan was written in this book compared to previous books. He basically blackmailed Nicole to be his own personal prostitute!!! He knew she would do anything for her sister and used that against her. The fact that she was still a virgin should have gave him a hint that she didn't leave him for another guy.
I liked Nicole .... A little bit she annoyed me too. I know she was a virgin but if your not in birth control and you don't use a condom during sex chances are your going to get knock up !!!! It's not difficult to understand !!!! I likes that she stood her ground with the clothes and car but annoyingly she always backed down.
The series has been easy but enjoyable reads this just annoyed me and if this was the first book would have really put me off the entire series. I also thought nothing really happened in the book it was just endless fighting between Ryan and Nicole. Their relationship appeared quite toxic and unhealthy at times.
Not what I was expecting and pretty disappointed.

I'm not surprise if I'm one of the minor here. Minor as in I quite enjoyed the book when others seemed... not. I was thankful I trust my gut to go through and not skip this book.

Main characters are quite exasperating at most times but both of them have great chemistry. I particularly loved the masquerade scene, it was incredibly hot with the mystery and all. In my opinion, this book has so much potential that it's too bad the story's too short.

Anyway, I can't help but notice that most of the characters' names started with D and J. I assume the author must loves them. Overall, The Tycoon's Proposal was a decent, wonderful story. Already I miss the Titan men.

Read on your own peril.

Nicole will do anything she as to to save her sister. Even if that means making a deal with the boy, now a man, that she used to love but wronged.

Ryan never forgot Nicole. He wasn't good enough for her as a poor boy but now he has something she needs...his money. He plans to get everything he's always wanted...Her. and when he's done leave her like she left him many years before.

Well that was the plan at least but with emotions, lust, and naked bodies entwined can they keep to the plan or will their hearts get in the way?

Again Melody Anne had done us all proud..I could not put this book down upon starting to read it.. IT IS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!To have so much power and be so sexy on top is dangerous..Ryan loves Nicole..but has too much male pride to admit it! Nicole has sacrificed so much that I really commend her! you have to read all the books in this series!!!
