Forrest and Kiera spend a night together that ends when she’s called to her sick mother.

She’s a photographer and is in Texas for a big job. She’s shocked when Forrest is one of the models.

Love this suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. Forrest is everything that you could want in a man. Billionaire doctor funny sweet and hot 🥵

To say that I'm Obsessed with this series and its dynamic is an understatement.
Nadia Han managed to create such a suspensful, gripping and intense universe, 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝖎𝖓𝖖𝖚𝖎𝖘𝖎𝖙𝖔𝖗 is book 4 in the 𝖂𝖍𝖆𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖋𝖞𝖗𝖊 𝖗𝖎𝖘𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖘𝖊𝖗𝖎𝖊𝖘 that follows 5 friends who witnessed a crime took a place when they were young teens, and now that they are all grown up, old ghosts are back to hunt them.

And this book by far is my favorite ( sorry Remi you have been dethroned 🤭)....
Forrest is so intense, a billionaire Doctor , with morally grey tendencies, I mean 🥵🥵🥵 ...
Kiera is one of the most beautiful, sweet characters in this series, she captivated our attention as readers since book 1.
And these two together are AN UNSTOPPABLE FORCE .

their chemistry, tension, and love was palpable . Inevitable .
They way they were so meant to be despite twists and bounces at every turn, they will always find their way back together 💚💚.

"ᵀʰᵉ ˡⁱᵗᵗˡᵉ ᵗʰⁱⁿᵍˢ ⁱⁿ ʳᵉˡᵃᵗⁱᵒⁿˢʰⁱᵖˢ ᵐᵃᵗᵗᵉʳᵉᵈ."

The author SLAYED AND NAILED this book in a way that it's now one of my favorites this year.
And I can see myself re-reading it and revisit this couple like old friends in my advanced years 👵😏😏🤭🤭.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Book: The Inquisitor by Nadia Han

Kira this poor girl, everything you think of happened to this women. But it works out so well in this book. Then you have Forest who loves kira so much but bring so much pain to this women cause of this background. The whole time you keep thinking ... What is going on with Forest that keeps getting kira in trouble.

At times I wanted to throw the book and be like OMG kira!!! But then I need to go, grab it and see what happen next. I know that a few things that happen I feel like the author rushed it. I think she could have added a few more chapters to make us understand more. But I love everything she added in just thinking I need more and that my problem 😂 I just loved these two so much. I swear I was watching a movie 🍿 🎥 with all the drama that was going on and that is what I like in a book.

The characters building is great, really figuring them out but hiding stuff at the same time drives us nuts but so good. This book was so hard to put down when I need to leave, do something with the kids!

The Inquisitor is book four and is a part of The WaterFyre Rising series, but can be read as a standalone. I haven't read the other but I will be backtrackin and then moving forward after that as well with the next few books after this one.

If this author is killing it in all out them like this one... This will be an fantastic series.

Beware: This book contains sexual content, profanity, violence, mentions of suicide, and eating disorder. Recommended for 18+.
I have been waiting patiently to read this book. The Inquisitor is just as fantastic as the other books and dare I say my favourite. Although I am pretty sure I thought that about the others in the WaterFyre Rising series.
In this the fourth book we get Kiera's and Forrest's story. They are fully realised with a complexity to them. It is told in dual POVs which I love as I love getting the inside thoughts of the characters instead of it being one sided.
This second chance romance is over 400 pages but that soon flies by as you become lost in Nadia’s narrative because it has a little of everything. The suspense, intrigue and mystery are intricately and cleverly woven together by Nadia to give the reader an intense read.
The engaging plot had me engrossed and eagerly turning the pages waiting to see how it all unfolds. The story is full of human trafficking, danger and deadly secrets, lies and drama, tragedy, angst and let's not forget the steamy romance.

Forrest is living a life that has kept him in the dark side of life. He knows he shouldn’t, but she is his light, but she is off limits.
I look forward to seeing what Nadia gives us next.

Per the author “Caution: This book contains sexual content, profanity, violence, mentions of suicide, and eating disorder. Recommended for 18+.”

The Inquisitor is book four and is a part of The WaterFyre Rising series, but can be read as a standalone. Each previous book has been a fantastic read and The Inquisitor will fall under the same category!

Forrest, along with Remington, Royce, Grayson, and Arrow are still trying to take down the unseen enemy. Forrest is also busy taking care of his other “business opportunities” and dealing with a personal vendetta, when his path crosses with Kiera once again.

They both happen to be in Texas at the same time. Forrest trying to gather more information on the Trogyn and Kiera (fashion photographer) is there for a photo shoot. This isn’t the first time these two have crossed paths, but their chemistry has been smoldering and it’s about to combust!

Forrest and Kiera’s journey is one filled with twist and turns, danger, mystery, chemistry, human trafficking, kidnapping, drama, a second chance at love, secrets, lies and oh my!! I could not put this book down! I was so invested to see how their story would turn out! Highly recommend this entire series!

Really enjoying this series.
This particular book was a one night stand /second chance romantic suspense.
It does deal with some heavy topics so check the trigger warnings.
It's got spice, drama, a continuation of a plot from the previous books and a hot book boyfriend 😉

I feel like the storyline was really good but the style of writing isn’t for me. I find it a bit cringy, awkward and a bit too cutesy. I think it might just be my preference though and so I won’t say don’t give it a go. I have also read the previous books in the series and have really enjoyed some. So it is worth it to try this series out.

I feel like I was lied to. The synopsis of the book is not what the book is about. Does it happen in the book? Yes but it happens in about 60% of the book. The auction is a very small thing that happens in the book and has nothing to do with how they meet/reunited. They were already in a relationship by the time this happens.

The Inquisitor (WaterFyre Rising Book 4) by Nadia Han - Review by Jessica Stone

So first off, this book is part of The WaterFyre Rising series, but can be read as a standalone, I didn't realize until I was halfway through this book that I missed reading one of them super I'm super thankful that it can be read as a standalone. That being said I have read the first two books in this series and this book, just like thoes, did not disappoint.
The heat between Forrest and Keira is immediate, though there interactions take a bit of time to really combust, the chemistry is already there from a previous meetings, and being part of the same circle and it has not died down at all.

Forrest is a Doctor, thanks to growing up with his supportive grandma he's grown his career into a successful life. Now he's back in Texas for revenge, his father was killed brutally by a gang when he was a young child, he's made it his life's mission to avenge his family.

Keira is a fashion photographer, who's just trying to make ends meet, after a accident at her moms work causes her to fall severely I'll Keira's taking every possible job she can, on top of her already busy schedule to pay for her moms medications and treatments. The last thing she has time for or interest in is a relationship or fling, so why she can't seem to get Forrest off her mind.
In a chance meeting the both wind up in Texas at the same time and things just take off from there. Keira gets kidnapped and it's up to Forrest to choose between his vengeance and saving the girl he can't get off his mind.

Ok so their chemistry is off the charts, it actually makes me giddy little a little girl, I can barely stay in my seat. I love how straight forward Forrest is about wanting Keira right off the back. The she's mine, touch her and die vibes are strong with him.
Keira has the best intentions with the worst execution, she's got the biggest heart and with that big trusting heart sometimes comes pain, but that's a chance worth taking I believe.

I've enjoyed this series so far, I can't wait to see the next book and I'm interested to see more come from a certain situation that ties all the male protagonist from this series, I feel like every book gets a bit more exciting and I'm so excited to see everything come to a head and to read about the next couple. I would definitely recommend this series, but I would highly recommend reading the first 3 books just to get a little insight into all the characters and how they interconnect and their own personal stories.

Forrest is a successful Doctor, the top in his field but what is under the calm persona is a man fired up for revenge of his family. With his search for the last member of the most dangerous gang who wreck his world, but he does not know this may will put someone who becomes special to him in the firing line.

Kiera has just finished a photography job and is on her way to Texas to start another one, but when she goes out with friends she meets him, the attraction is like lightening in the air but when things take a turn and Kiera is kidnapped she becomes lost and scared, but there is a beacon of light when in the crowd of the auction she spots him, Forrest her knight come to recuse her.

Can there relationship grow when she does not really understand the handsome man in front of her?

Oh my lord, what a story. I have read all the other WaterFyre Rising books and all are brilliant but this just seems a bit more dark and thrilling. As I have read the other books this is not a requirement for you to enjoy this book as it ca be read as a stand alone story but I recommend reading the others for your enjoyment.

This story takes you more into Forrest's mind and vendetta against the criminals who murdered his family and does go dark more than the other stories, but adds more shadow into the story. The relationship between Forrest and Kiera is soft and slow at the beginning but once they get to know each other it ignites into a passionate chemistry between the two.

The story is told in dual POV which also adds a layer to the story as you get to understand both feelings and anxiety with each other. Kiera is a great strong female and I feel she just grows more as the story goes on, although we get a hint of Forrest in the other books it is great to read his story and that he finds a happy ending in the end.

The story as always is well written and such fast pace that you hardly notice that you are half way through in the middle of the night lol. I love the style and the characters are rich and although there are some topics which you may feel its hard to read the author writes with respect and care which just adds to the story and injection compassion.

Thank you for this wonderful insight into the friend again, fingers crossed there is another book in this series.

Category Ratings out of 5 (These are my own categories):

Storyline: 5
Characters: 5
Suspense: 5
Action: 5
Romance: 5
Steamy Hot Scenes: 10 out of 5, if I could! Has to be a 5 since that’s what I set the bar for.

** I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*

**Trigger warnings: Kidnapping, some violence, human trafficking, sexual scenes.**

** This is a stand-alone book in the series and you do not need to read the previous 3 books. I do recommend reading them though as it would help you understand certain parts of the storyline. Previous characters and previous plots will be mentioned. **

Now onto the best part, the review!!!

Told in dual POV from both Forrest and Kiera, I have three words to start off this review.

Spicy, HOT, Intense.

Boy, is there a fan around here or A/C to cool me down because this book got me all hot and flustered.

Just when I thought Miss Nadia Han couldn’t rock my imaginary book world anymore, she absolutely upped the level and shook me to my core.

This book was an absolutely amazing read. I enjoyed every single moment of it. You would think that just by reading the synopsis you could guess what would happen in the story, but about a quarter way into reading it, I realized I was wrong. There was a twist and turn every few parts in the story and I was all for it.

There are times when I read a book and I feel like the storyline becomes predictable; however, there were moments in the book where I didn’t see what was about to happen and kept me on my toes.

I had thought I already established my absolute favorite book out of the previous 3; however, I think this one takes the cake. Each book in this series is unique and one-of-a-kind, but this one really speaks to me because it doesn’t go with the grain of other romance books that you see nowadays.
There was just something about this book that spoke to my soul, from the storytelling to the raw emotions that Nadia was able to write into these characters.

She was truly able to capture the sides of humans into the story which is amazing.

These are the sides that we sometimes don’t necessarily don’t want to show to others because we think that we would be judged, and Nadia got the point across in the story.

I can’t forget about the danger that seemed to be at every corner for Forrest and Kiera and I can’t also forget the, that’s right, sexy steamy scenes! There were definitely cheesy moments, but I enjoyed every single second of it because they definitely turned into something more than just cheese.

I obviously won’t spoil too much for you, but if you enjoy romance, a second chance meeting for love, and some suspense and action, this book is for you!

Forrest Navarro is a doctor who specialises in immunology, but he also has a passion for natural remedies and mixing the eastern and western medicine so that he can help his patients to the best of his ability, however, he also has a dark side thanks to traumatic events from his childhood. Kiera Ford is a fashion photographer and works as a freelancer so that she can be more flexible with when and where and he loves her job, but she also has a passion for nature and photographing that is her hobby, but lately, she is having to work more than play more.

When Forrest comes to see family, it also coincides with a darker motive for being in the area, however, when he runs into the woman he cannot forget thanks to one night with her, he is determined to find out why it was only one night. Meanwhile, Keira is working at a high class camping resort with a brand who believe that it would make a fantastic backdrop and they weren't lying, so Keira balances work and pleasure by scouting for the best places and once she has found them, she agrees to go to dinner with the others on the team and get to know them, but all that changes when she sees Forrest at another table, she cannot forget the night they spent together and how regrettably, it could never be more.

As these two mix work and pleasure, they begin to reconnect and work through their pasts, however, the peace was not to last when a string of events at the campsite rip them apart and an abduction places Keira in a dark place and when Forrest finds out that she is gone, he is determined to find her and destroy everyone who stands in his way, so when he hears about women being auctioned off to the highest bidder, he knows where he has to go, but will he be able to get to Keira before she disappears forever, or will their second chance disappear before their eyes? This is a fast paced and spicy romance where danger and darkness surround the light as it tries to snuff it out and kill the romance it shines upon in this action-packed dark romance.

The Inquisitor is the fourth book in the WaterFyre Rising series by Nadia Han. It is a fantastic romantic suspense with a second chances/friends to lovers element, intrigue, danger, mystery, tension, chemistry, sizzle, drama, agendas, damsel in distress element, alpha-male type billionaire doctor, family, friendship, emotion, abduction, human trafficking, violence, and deadly developments.
Ms. Han certainly knows how to weave an engrossing story and she always manages to pull me in from the get-go and keep me glued to the pages, devouring the words to discover how it all plays out in the end.
I have loved this series from the very first book, and each instalment since just seems to get better. Each new release always becomes my favourite till the next one knocks it off its throne. As was the case here.
I loved the backstory behind how ‘WaterFyre’ came about, and that aspect of the series has always intrigued me. The group of WaterFyre men each get their own book, so each could be read as a standalone. But in saying that, I highly recommend reading the entire series, from the beginning, because they are each fantastic stories in their own right and each book lets us get to know one of the WaterFyre men, and their love, in much more depth.
This is Forrest and Kiera’s story. Forrest is the Inquisitor of WaterFyre (yes, I have mentioned that name several times now and if you don’t know what that is, you really should read the book to find out what it is all about) and a billionaire doctor and a protective alpha type male. He comes to the rescue when Kiera is abducted and put to auction by human traffickers. Things are about to get complicated, in more ways than one. What happens makes for some intense, engrossing, and dramatic reading.
Looking forward to the next release - ‘The Strategist’ (Book #5).
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Nadia Han!

This is the 4th book in the WaterFyre Rising series. Even though it is part of a series each book revolves around a different couple so you don't need to read them in order, however I guarantee once you've read 1 you will want to read more. The author's writing is so captivating that it grips you from the first page and doesn't let go.
This book has everything I love to read. From a strong protective alpha with dark secrets, danger, lies, passion, intrigue, human trafficking, and twists and turns i just didn't expect for me it was definately a thrilling page-turner.
This story follows Forrest and Kiera. A chance meeting brings them together and even though the attraction is there they think nothing more of it. Until Kiera is kidnapped and placed up for auction to the highest bidder. Scared and alone she panics until she spots a familiar face in the crowd.
Forrest has his own demons to deal with and he is on a revenge mission to get rid of the people who murdered his family and he will stop at nothing until the last person has gone. When he meets Kiera she is like a Ray of light in his dark world and even though he knows he shouldn't he can't help but be drawn to her.
When she sees her at that place he knows he needs to do whatever it takes to protect her but by doing so has he just put an even bigger target on her back from the people he is trying to destroy.
Can he protect Kiera whilst still going after revenge?

This story is so detailed and I love the way it is told from both POV so you can get a complete picture of what each character is thinking and feeling, the turmoil they both go through as they try to navigate the dangerous path in front of them.
Even though it is over 400 pages long I read through it so fast because i couldn't put it down. I needed to know what would happen and if they would get their happy ever after

Nadia Han has given us wonderful characters, suspense, danger and so much more in this book, which is the third book in the WaterFyre Rising Series. These books can be read as standalones, but I wouldn't as you will miss out on getting to see the shared past that ties the main male leads of these books together. **Be aware though this book has some trigger warnings and the author has kindly posted this..(Caution: This book contains sexual content, profanity, violence, mentions of suicide, and eating disorder. Recommended for 18+.) These triggers didn't bother me or deflect from the book in any way for me, but I still wanted to mention them.

This is Forrest and Kiera’s story, and let me just tell you to get ready for some volcanic chemistry! I love Forrest’s alpha male vibe and how protective he is of his family and those he cares about. This turns out to be an amazing blessing as he rescues Kiera after she has been abducted and is about to be sold off. Forrest had to choose between the vendetta he has been waiting to see through since he was a boy and the girl who has entranced him. Did he make the right choice? He has already claimed her to be his, but will she accept and see it that way? Will his shared past from WaterFyre come into play? Grab this book and find out.

I read a great deal and usually see the plots and twists and turns coming, but this book really surprised me in a good way with it's suspense, danger, drama, romance, heat, and overall storyline. Nadia Han is an amazing author that writes characters in such a realistic way that they truly come off the page and seem like they are in your world with you. I have loved this series so far and I truly can't wait for the next installment.

Wow!! This book was fantastic. The Inquisitor is Book 4 in the WaterFyre Rising Series and I have to say I love all the books in the series but this......this is my favorite so far. It is dark, gritty, raw... with danger, secrets, lies, trafficking and romance...I cannot stop thinking about this story. While you could read this as a standalone, I very highly recommend reading this series in order to get the know what WaterFyre Rising is all about and the men who are involved.

Forrest Navarro is a doctor who is very smart, caring and looks into more holistic ways of helping his patients. What Forrest is also is methodical, constantly thinking of revenge and planning every step of the way...due to trauma he suffered as a child that continually stays with him. He has this bit of a dark nature...what Forrest does not plan for is Kiera Ford. He has never forgotten her since his one nigh encounter with her.

Kiera Ford is a photographer on the go, no time for relationships with her busy life. Meeting
Forrest and having one night with him...she leaves unexpectedly vowing no more one night stands. With her job taking her to Texas, Kiera never thought she would run into the man that still continues to be on her mind....Forrest. When chaos ensues that leaves Kiera in extreme danger, will Forrest be able to save her before it is to late or will his need for revenge from his childhood trauma get in the way.....

Definitely read and find out. This story was fast paced and such a roller-coaster of emotions for me. I loved this story and I am looking forward to more!

This is a 400+ page book but it just took me 3 sittings to complete this book and I think I could have completed this in 1 sitting only if I did not have any other work.

The book will bring the vibe of previous books of this series. This is a love story of Forrest and Kiera. I will not say blurb here but I must say, that I loved the storytelling of this book as compared to the other 3 books.

If you are a nature lover and a Photography lover as well as if you are a DOCTOR you will love this book and the details about all these professions. I admire Nadia Maam for her research work because whenever she portrays a character she brings out every detail about it with depth. It becomes easy to connect with the characters.

The book has both Kiera's and Forrest's POVs. The steamy scenes are written well but at the same time, the cheesy vanilla romance is also written with lots of love and passion.

Crime and criminals are present here in this book too but this time with more danger but Forrest being a Morally Grey character takes care of it very well.

The book shows raw human emotions and what can be consequences if we get influenced by negative people.

I have never made so many annotations in any of the books in my entire book reading journey because I mostly do not do that but in this book, I think every 2nd page has an annotation from me. I mean I just could not stop myself.
Grab your copy today.
One highlight from the book - POV - Kiera - "Something beautiful and warm spread inside me like a sunrise that brightened everything."

As the boys from WaterFyre Rising continue to take on the criminal network that threatened their lives when they were young, Forrest takes care of some personal business. In this thrilling addition to the series, Forrest discovers that beauty is more than meets the eye.

Forrest is on a mission of revenge with the men that killed his father. He is two-thirds of the way done when he is distracted by a woman that he can’t seem to get out of his head. Forrest has known her for ages as she mingles in his friend circles. On a photo shoot with her, their chemistry takes over and they share one night. She disappears and Forrest doesn’t know why.

After the best night of her life, Kiera receives a phone call that her mother is in the hospital and she takes off. Her mother’s declining health has been Kiera’s sole focus for the last six months. Kiera takes a photography job in Texas to ensure that she can pay for her mom’s treatment. Kiera runs into Forrest while in Texas and they reconnect. Kiera wants to keep her distance but Forrest won’t let that happen.

As Forrest and Kiera rediscover each other, an outside force is trying to keep them apart. Kiera is kidnapped. She appears in a special auction. Forrest bids and wins her. It doesn’t end there. As the outside force is revealed, it creates different problems. Hearts are broken.

This author takes the reader on another outstanding, intense thrill ride. Find the time to read this one.

I love the series. Suspense and romance where could you go wrong. The Inquisitor is the next book in the WaterFyre Rising Series. So the basic back story is this group of friends is tasked to create a level in a video game they are trying to release based on their local WaterFyre festival. So in saying that each book focuses on one of the guys building the game. Do you need to read the previous books? No not really but doing so makes the series better. The author takes the reader on a suspenseful adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat. You won’t want to put it down. You will definitely want more.
Kiera and Forrest had a one off night that changed their dynamic as friends and their friend’s circle. Little do they know that they’re pinning for each other. Both ending up in Texas for work, they have a 2nd chance to discover what they missed out on. However that comes at a price, their lives seem to be in danger. Someone is out to get both of them and is clearly sending messages that shouldn’t be ignored. But what’s the reason? What enemy is after them? Forrest is doing everything he can to figure it out and keeps those he holds dear safe from harm.
I loved this book and If you have already I encourage you to start the series. It’s totally worth it!!

This book, like the others, is just absolutely amazing!! Again, the friendships to me are the best part. I was so hoping that Forrest's cousin would be a part of the group. But sometimes, you can't help people. Forrest and Kiara both have such hard stories. Forrest, from losing both his parents, immigrated, and then everything that happened to him as a teenager. And Kiara from her horrible father, to what she experienced as a child, and then what happened to her mother. The corruption in the medical field is disgusting. This story is my favorite because not only is Forrest a GOOD doctor, but he also believes in a holistic approach. There is no one or the other. Modern medicine and holistic approach can work hand in hand. He proves that in this book. Kiara's love for nature and photography leap off the page, and I admire her for her strength and her kindness. They work so well together. I can't believe the mess with the organization and who was all involved. It makes me sick. And the jealousy of one woman!! Disgusting what she had done to those girls and to Kiara and Olivia! Hank is a new favorite of mine, and I am happy Forrest took care of him and helped him! Book is amazing as usual! I think this book series is going to be one of my favorites

This is the 4th book in the series! This book was about Forrest and Kiera. They were part of the group of the friends from the other books. They all have a little part in this book. One night Kiera and Forrest were at the same place one night after a photo shoot. They ended up hooking up. Kiera ended up leaving without a word because she got a call that her mom was in the hospital. They each avoided each other for months. Kiera traveled to Texas for a photo shoot for a clothing line. She ended up seeing Forrest at the restaurant there. Turns out his grandmother and cousin lived there. He was very close with them so he tried to visit as often as he could. Kiera and Forrest ended up clearing the air as to what happened and confessed that they were ruined for other people. Forrest and Kiera went through a lot in this book. Kiera was raised by a single mom. She knew who her father was from a young age. She never contacted him because she had no desire. Forrest lost his dad when he was 5 and his mom when he was 9. There was a car accident that they were involved in, his grandmother and cousin were also in the accident. Everyone survived except his mom. Forrest and Kiera had an amazing connection and they were linked for a long time and didn’t even know it.

Mission: Opals are forever

I love all the guys so far but Forrest has my heart! He was unexpected but man so love able. All of the guys are busy, but Forrest has a lot on his plate and is feeling like he isn’t enough for the one person who he can’t get off his mind.
Kiera has a lot going on and trying to keep it together, she feels like she isn’t enough for the one person she wants even though she put distance between them.
There are so many goodies in this book but I absolutely loved the text banter in the beginning of the book.

One of my favorite quotes of the book:

I’d spent so much time and energy searching for something to heal the wound in my heart, and I found that and more in Kiera. The nature lover who spent his childhood wandering the woods was now enchanted by a nature photographer. The innovative thinker who wanted to create a medicine derived from natural sources was blown away by her presence. The inquisitor who had been searching for something to fill the void in him was now full of love. The doctor who made an oath to heal others had been saved by her.

ARC Review of The Inquisitor by Nadia Han

One romance that is full of action and full of drama! The romance of Keira and Forrest is here!

One steamy night lingers between these two busy lovers, followed by Forrest waking up alone in bed. Now, they are here expected to work together. If things were only ever so easy.
Danger is lurking.
Forrest has had many losses already in his young life, seeing blood and fire and death.
Now, Keira's life is on the line.

Very mellow between Forrest and Keira in the beginning, not too heavy on the tension, however it is made of for it with out steamy and cute they are together when things get heated in the sheets. Forrest has a lovely connection with his family especially after all they lost and went through.
With the looming danger and threats that are affecting Keira's life and sparking haunted memories for Forrest, you are questioning who they can trust, who is the real trouble, and who else has taken part of the dangerous world these two are thrown into. Even when you think they are out of danger...they are far from it.

These two keep crossing paths and this time it happens to be in Texas. Both are there on business, but things take a turn when Kiera is kidnapped and is on the verge of going missing forever. She doesn't know it but Forrest would do anything for her. He shows up in the nick of time but danger is still lurking around the corner. Will they be able to thwart it and be happy? I have enjoyed this series since book one. Every book has had a unique perspective pertaining to the main character particular talents and they have been enjoyable. In The Inquistor we got to see Kiera and Forrest go from being friends to more organically. No insta love here, not that there is anything wrong with that of course. All of these books have been well written and they don't have to be read in order to understand anything that is happening, although I do highly recommend doing so. Bravo to the author on another amazing book in the WaterFyre Rising series. I can't wait to read the next installment.

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. I have really been enjoying this series. This is Kiera and Forrest’s story which is dual POV, which I enjoy so you can see what they are both thinking. Forrest is a successful doctor with a secret. Kiera is on a new job when she meets Forrest. There is an instant connection but with a scary twist she is thrust into danger. Will Forrest be able to help her?

All I can say is wow, what a story. We get so much that will put you on the edge of your seat. There are also some topics that may be triggers for some people. I really enjoy dark reads and this one definitely gave me that. You can read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading all the books in the series. The author does a great job with her writing and I look forward to reading more from her and the series. 1-click and get started today on this great series.

The Inquisitor is book 4 in the series and probably my favorite. I love the guys in the group who all have their over book in the series but this one….not sure why but this definitely was the best on my opinion. I love the chemistry between Forrest and Kiera.
They are pretty much part of the same friend group. One night the chemistry is just too much and they end up having a one night stand that rocked both their worlds. When Forrest woke up, she was gone. No note, nothing! So they pretty much avoided eachother now they are face to face while away on business and they can’t overcome what’s between then. There’s definitely unfinished business.
Forrest is definitely an alpha male and protects what is his. When something happens to Kiera Forrest doesn’t have any option but to get to bottom of everything. Such a great read!

This was wildest ride a book ever took me on . There was a moment when I was like "MORE ? D@MN" lol truly dynamite in a small package . Honestly it fulfills a lot of my wishlist for a book lol undying devotion, razor sharp man softens for love, cute lil affectionate gestures, beautiful displays of love, the whole "mine" thing ... I adored this love story. Kiera & Forrest are entirely sweet & adorable together. I do wish more of the things that happened , really HAPPENED ... so as readers we could be involved & feel more connected to the story . Certain spots felt a bit detached & I wished for more . I really, really loved Hank & how things went for him ! Special recognition for being delightfully nerdy. & CHEERS to the beautifully brazen self glory throughout this book . It was entirely inspiring & I'm about to be makin my way through Finding Your HeART .

The Inquisitor: A Second Chance Romance (WaterFyre Rising Book 4)

This series gets better with each book released and I get more invested in this group of people.

Forrest and Kiera have chemistry off the charts but things get awkward after their one night. Thank goodness for Texas.

I was on edge most of their time while reading waiting for everything to fall into place and questions I had answered and the bonus is I got to know more people.

I live just outside of Austin and have a affection for anything Austin. The shop Forrest's grandmother made me think of a Metaphysical store on the East Side of town and was unable to get it out of my mind every time and I love little connections like that.

I have to wait until February for the next book to come out, but I will be on leave from work and plan to start reading as soon as it's released.

I have enjoyed all of Nadia's book and up until this book, Remington was my #1 book boyfriend for the series. Then I read this book and Forrest took the lead. This book had SO much that happened, but it wasn't too much where you got confused or lost. The twists and turns of this book kept me hooked and I did not want to put it down. The only time I put it down was when I was with my kids or doing stuff around the house.
Kiera was such a fun FMC and she was such a vibe.
The connection between them and every little detail was amazing. It's hard to write a review without giving spoilers, but you do not want to miss this as there are so many awesome easter eggs in this book and so much suspense.

I am totally 100% hooked on this series and this EXTREMELY talented authors writing! She never ever disappoints with her creative and gripping storylines that will have you turning page after page. This book, as all her books do, has a mix of wonderful characters, some who you will love and some you will love to hate! lol Forrest and Kiera completely had my heart right from the start and they will both stay there for a very long time. I won't go into the actual storyline as there is just too much that I could give away and I refuse to spoil it for anyone. Now this is book 4 of the series and I have to say that I highly recommend the reading entire series. I promise you will not regret a single second spent reading this wonderful authors work.
