“Let’s play a game. Truth or dare – queer edition.” When six professional climbers get together for a camping trip, the nights quickly turn steamy. Elijah is the veteran of the group, a steady hand whom everyone can rely on. His boyfriend, Ty, has been dreaming of this trip for months, and now it’s finally time. Two couples join them. Mylo and Lukas fly in all the way from Germany to bring a bit of mischief to the group. Jude and Finn are the newest couple out of the three, but they’ve got plenty of steamy stories to share around the campfire at night. When all six of these queer pros get together, it makes for a week of thrilling highs on the rocks and salacious over-sharing back at camp. Queer Camp is a novella that takes place after the events of the Rock Jocks MM romance series. It can be read as a standalone but is best enjoyed after the main series. It contains spicy open-door scenes, rock climbing, three queer couples madly in love and a lighthearted tale of friends bonding around the campfire.
F.A. Ray writes contemporary queer romance fiction, including gay romance and lesbian romance (writing as Lainee Ash). They especially enjoy sports romance with rivals who become lovers, second chances, unusual sports and grumpy sunshine opposites attracting.

My eye went past the title thinking it was about rock musicians. No, thanks. Dramatic and cringey. Then I saw that it was about rock climbing. I like the videos with hot, shirtless guys clambering around on mountains. This was a nice, easy read. The three couples from previous books have come together for a weeklong camping and climbing trip. Ahhh, tent sex. 🏕️
Oh man, I love books after the series that bring all the characters back again. Found family for the win!! This one is so sweet and fun. Elijah and Ty, Mylo and Lucas, and Finn and Jude are back and they're all meeting up for a week of camping and rock climbing. It's definitely a feel-good story as these characters just enjoy their time together!
There are some steamy scenes when each of the pairs manage to sneak in some private time, as well as a couple flashback scenes that give us more insight to their relationships after their books are done. Scenes are graphic and full of heat!
Plenty of laughs come with this one as the group members enjoy teasing each other. There's also a fun game of "never have I ever" that brings plenty of entertainment! No tears with this one, unless they're happy tears because they're all so damn cute together.
I love these found family stories! They're so much fun and I love seeing these characters through everyone else's eyes. Such a blast!
I enjoyed getting to spend more time with the folks from the Rock Jocks books. They all get together for a camping/climbing vacation together. We get all six points of view as they climb, eat, and spend time together around the campfire. The game of Never Have I Ever was funny. Each couple had some sexy times, and it was just nice getting to see them all grow closer as a group. I don’t think this would work very well as a standalone. You definitely need to have read the Rock Jocks series first.

4,5* I loved getting back to all these queer persons. Queer Camp had a good mix of friensdhip, love, heat and love for bouldering and rock climbing with accurate sporting details. F.A. Ray created a great quick peak back. This novella can be read as a stand alone, but you will appreciate it way more after the earlier books. Looking forward by this author, I will keep an eye out for them.

And a good time was had by all! Well that was fun! It's always fun to catch up on couples who managed to find each other. The good friends challenged each other, supported each other and became better friends. Great story, nicely done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a lovely catch up with the three couples after the season ends. There are still questions open for the future, maybe we'll see Elijah's new career in the spin off series coming soon?.

This is a sweet little novella, which makes a great conclusion to the series. Where the previous storylines was primarily about love and struggles with family, identity etc, this novella is all about friendship and found family. It was great to revisit all three couples, and learn about their current lifes An absolute must read if you enjoyed the previous books.
