Gavin Class came as close to "the end" as any human can. As a Division 1 offensive lineman, football was everything to Gavin—until the game, and his life, was taken from him. Lying breathless on a practice field in Towson, Maryland is where Gavin’s first life ended. But through the lens of his story, you’ll find out it’s just where his second life began. A life of resilience, doubt, and pursuing the only thing that can truly bring someone to their the miraculous love of God. After Gavin's life experience, YOLT Foundation was started by the Class Family to support transplant patients and heat stroke survivors along with their families through sharing Gavin’s story, building awareness, creating support funds, and providing programs of recovery for a better quality of life. We want to connect with youth, high school, college and professional athletes to educate that community. In their understanding of the prevention, recognition, treatment, and recovery of heat stroke illness and the facts of organ donation and transplantation .
