Part two of Maeda Mitsuyo's epic journey battling wrestlers all over the world! This volume covers his time in the UK from February of 1907 until March of 1908. Having wrestled up and down the east coast of the United States, Maeda travels to the UK. There he finds Judo is much more established, meaning he can start dueling right away. He enters several tournaments and takes on many famous wrestlers in addition to meeting all sorts of people who are wild about Japanese culture.

Translation of part two of A Judo Warrior's Journey Around the Globe 世界横行柔道武者修業 which is a record of Maeda Mitsuyo's exploits overseas. The book, which was published in 1912, was a collaboration between Maeda Mitsuyo and Usuda Zanun, an author from his hometown. Maeda sent dispatches of his exploits back to Japan, where Usuda edited them into first newspaper articles and then into books. The first volume, America 1904~1907, covered Maeda's arrival in New York and his initial exhibition matches at Harvard, Yale and Columbia University as well as the duels he fought in Chicago and the southern United States.
