Crow… Growing up in Marble Falls was the very definition of boring. Fortunately, my father was the president of the Soulless Kings MC and when he met his maker, I took over the reins. Now I get to make my own fun.
But my way of life is threatened when a sexy siren walks into my club under false pretenses. She thinks she’s clever, but I’m not about to let her take down my family. Holding her hostage might not be the best idea, but it’s my only option if I want her to see that the Soulless Kings aren’t all bad.
What I don’t count on is the intense urge to keep her and make her mine.
Addison… As the daughter of the Chief of Police, I’ve always strived to be the son he never had. I want nothing more than to follow in his footsteps, but he doesn’t think a woman can handle the job. And I’m going to prove him wrong.
But as the saying goes, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions, and my desire to show my father what I’m made of lands me in a heap of trouble. When I’m forced to remain at the Soulless Kings’ clubhouse, I regret the decisions that led me there in the first place.
At least, until I realize that the very people I vowed to take down are the only ones who make me feel like I belong.
Andi Rhodes is an author whose passion is creating romance from chaos in all her books! I normally like this author and MC books are a favorite genre, but this one didn't work for me. I didn't like Addison or Crow, which makes it really hard to like the book with them at the center of it. Addison seemed to have such a huge chip on her shoulder, mostly due to always having to prove herself to her father. And Crow, not sure why I don't like him, maybe too cocky, but something. In the end, this one wasn't for me.
Crow is the Prez of the Soulless Kings Marble Falls TX MC and has been in town since he was a young boy. Addison is also from the town and as a classmate of Crow’s she was assigned to help the little boy out when he first came to school. Now she is a detective with the police department with her dad being the chief of police. They come from completely different worlds now.
Addison’s mom was killed a few years ago and it was thought that the Soulless Kings MC were responsible and now they are being accused again for three more homicides. When Addi shows up at the club for a party with her friend, she figures what better way to see what is really going on there. Crow had somewhat of the same idea by keeping her “hostage” until he can show her the club is nothing what is thought of them.
I absolutely love the relationship between Crow and Addison. The storyline and the big surprise at the end was jaw dropping and made this a book I couldn’t put down. I highly recommend this book and other work by this author.

Crow is the first book in Soulless Kings MC: Marble Falls, TX series. Intense, dark and engrossing, it keeps reader entranced and turning the pages until the end. The world building is detailed and darkish; the storyline emotional, captivating and edgy; the characters are engaging, tragic and inspiring; and alluring romance with hot chemistry and all the feels. Crow is the perfect blend of found family, brotherhood, tension, forbidden deliciousness, danger and great romance.
Crow's way of fun and running things with the MC is threatened by Addison who vowed to take them down. Crow holding Addison a hostage is not the smartest, brightest or best idea but at the time seemed like the only option if he wanted her to see that the Soulless Kings aren’t all bad. Addison's drive to prove her father wrong and her decisions that led her to clubhouse changed her life and opened her eyes. It was obvious from the beginning how much she belonged with MC and how she just simply fit. Their transformation and growth throughout the book is heartwarming as well as the gradual trust and love between them. These two needed to lean on their instincts, learn how to trust / protect each other. Crow and Addison's build-up was skillfully written.
A phenomenal / whimsical read and a great start to this new series. Cannot wait for the next book.

Crow & Addison: triggers- drugs, kidnapping, corruption, assault, torture, sexism & bigotry. Crow and Addison grew up on different sides of the tracks. Addison, on the side of the law... as you dad was a police officer who believes that women did not belong on the force. but that's exactly what she does, in fact she's recently been promoted to detective. Crow grew up on the opposing side. his dad was the president of the Soulless Kings MC and when he died, Crow took the gavel. drama hits the club early as their being fingered for a triple homicide. Addison, eager to prove herself jumps at the chance to work the case and in doing so, puts herself in danger. she's held by the MC in order to prove to her that they are good people, doing good things. when her opinions start to shift, she begins to see things in a different light. there's not much romance in this book as it focuses more on the drama between the cops and MC. I also didn't really feel a connection between Crow and Addison because of it. it all felt forced and almost like a last minute decision. the book is short so I think maybe the author should decide what genre to write in, lengthen her books to focus on both the mystery/drama and the romance or give the main characters the buildup readers need to connect to them and their love story. this is my first time reading this author and while I loved the drama, I did not connect to the main characters' romance.
Well, Andi did it again. She wrote a book that drew me in, enthralled me then ended it way too soon. Luckily, she’s a prolific writer and there’s always another book to read from one of her other series.
Crow is the first book in the series about the Marble Falls, Texas chapter of the Soulless Kings MC. Crow was born to be the leader of the club as his dad was the previous president, until his death. His mom had been one of the club’s girls and he knows nothing but the MC life.
Addison was born to be a cop, despite being a girl. Her dad, the Chief of Police, doesn’t think girls belong on the blue line. Determined to prove her dad wrong, she excels at her job and quickly makes detective.
Both Crow and Addi have a strong need for justice. She sees only black and white, right and wrong. He operates in the gray where “good people do bad things for good reason”.
Readers can identify with Andi’s characters. They have everyday relationship and personal issues that many of us experience. The stories are intriguing and I find myself completely immersed in each book. Andi doesn’t draw out the backstory of the characters, nor does she create a slow burn romance. So, her books are a quick read and leave me craving more. I’m anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.
I received an advanced copy of the book and this review is my personal opinion.
Crow (Soulless Kings MC: Marble Falls, TX, #1 5 stars due 3/28/24 Crow & Addison
Are they bad? They are one percenters. Is it bad or following their own laws and policies? They don't mistreat women. They do support and protect their club family, wife/ole lady. They have their own businesses that support not only the club but the town. Yet, their laws often pick up to punish those who slip through the Justice system.
She's not only a cop but a Detective. Her father, the Chief of Police, does little to encourage her believing women don't belong in uniform. She's determined to prove him wrong, starting with taking down the Soulless Kings.
Crow doesn't want to want her. When he finds out who she is at a club party, he decides she not leaving. What he really wants to do is prove to her they aren't all bad. They do a lot to help the city and the people beginning with a free clinic and doctor to man it.
Keeping the woman he desires isn't easy staying away from her. She has a lot to learn about them. Will she believe what she sees? Can she stand on that middle line between both worlds? If so, is there a life for them together?
Action, chemistry, good character, and best of all only the first book in a new series.
Welcome back to the world of the Soulless Kings. Andi Rhodes has done it again. This time, she takes us on a journey to Marble Falls, TX, where we meet Crow, the president of the chapter. You’re immediately met with the loyalty and familiarity of the MC. The MC is being framed for crimes it didn’t commit. They aren’t angels by any stretch of the imagination, but concerning the crimes they are being accused of, it’s more about being guilty until they can prove their innocence. Addison, the Chief of Police’s daughter, only lives to follow the rules; everything is black and white. You either broke the law or you didn’t. Addison has an axe to grind against the Crow and the Soulless Kings. Crow takes drastic steps to prove his club’s innocence, but is Addison willing to look at the gray? It’s up to Crow to convince her. Doubt swirls in her gut, but Addison can’t ignore the facts very long before she starts thinking about what is happening in their town. Another fantastic read by Andi. I’m so excited she decided to keep the Soulless Kings MC going and I can’t wait to see whose story is next.
Excellent start to the Soulless Kings MC Marble Falls, Texas Chapter and it starts with the Prez, Crow’s story. He’s taken the gavel after his father died and is relishing in the role and rules with a strong fist. His club doesn’t always follow the letter of the law, but they aren’t as bad as many believe them to be. In fact, when the Chief of Police’s daughter, Addison, comes to the club under the false pretense of attending a party, Crow is determined to show her his club is not what she and her father believe them to be. In return Addison is determined to prove to her father that she is a good detective and deserves his respect. But is she in over her head when Crow holds her hostage to prove his point? Will Addison find the evidence she needs to bring them down?
The author gave us an outstanding storyline with twists and turns that were exciting and kept me on my toes. The characters that make up this alpha group of men, whose brotherhood stand together through thick and thin, were intriguing and this reader can’t wait for more from this group/series. I highly recommend grabbing up Crow and getting in from the start of this exciting chapter.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the story of Crow and Addison. Welcome to the town of Marble Falls the most boring place in the world according to Crow. But his father is the President of the Soulless Kings MC and now that is Crow's place in the club since his father passed away. Addison is the daughter of the Chief of Police in Marble Falls. She is trying her hardest to be the son he never had and is going to follow in his footsteps one day. However he has other ideas as he thinks that women can't handle the job. She is going to show him that shes a detective for a reason. This has her going to the Souless Kings MC to find what she can. However she never figured on Crow and his desire to keep his club safe by keeping her. I really loved this book. I loved that it is different. You don't see many detectives getting taken in by a MC weather it is by free will or not. She really has some learning to do and Crow is the man to open her eyes to things she been blinded too. They are so perfect together no matter how hard she fights it.
This is the first in a new series, and this is Crow and Addison’s story. Crow took over the gravel as President of his MC, after his father passes away, and the club is being framed for a crime they did not commit, and they are determined to prove their innocence. Addison is a detective, who is the daughter of the chief of police, and she works had to prove to him she is worthy of the badge. When Addison goes undercover and attends a party at the club, she is determined to take down them all down, but finds herself held hostage. What will happen when Addison discovers that the people she was going to take down as the protects instead? This is a well written action packed story, which has family, friendships, emotions, loyalty, enemies / lovers, opposites attract, forced proximity, romance, suspense, secrets, intrigue, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, haunting, and steamy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
In the wild world of Marble Falls, Texas, Crow's taken the reins of his dad's motorcycle club and is ruling with an iron fist, but a gentle heart. When the Chief of Police's daughter, Addison, crashes one of their parties undercover, Crow decides to teach her a lesson by holding her hostage. But Addison's got a few tricks up her sleeve, and a determination to prove to her dad that she's a top-notch detective. Will Crow's club come out on top, or will Addison bring them down with her sleuthing skills? The author's cooked up a tale with more twists and turns than a bikers' rally, and this reader's hungry for more. Get ready to rev up your engine with Crow and the gang - just don't forget your helmet! This is the first time reading anything by Andi Rhodes but definitely not the last! I enjoyed it very much and definitely recommend everyone reading it, especially if you love reading about hot sexy bikers and a badass chick 😁
Andi Rhodes has done it again with her latest book Crow (Soulless Kings MC, Marble Falls, TX).
Andi takes us a journey with Crow the chapter president and Addison the chief of polices daughter and a detective. What happens when Addison takes a step into the MC under false pretences and they find out who she is. Can Addison see beyond black and white can she see the grey areas that exist. Can she get over her hate for the MC, and can Crow make her see that they really arent that bad.
Crow and Addison had a connection years ago but nothing ever came of it, now in close proximity can they both really keep their distance.
Another fantastic story by Andi, and this book is binge worthy, so make sure you have time as you wont want to put this book down. Cant wait to see what else is to come.
Addison from the beginning is going to be a problem we can tell. What girl doesn't want to make her daddy proud by being just like him. Addison's that's who. She does everything she can to be just like him including becoming a police officer and a detective but he still isn't "proud", but Uncle Gary is. Her job as detective is to find evidence to show the MC had committed a crime. She meets Crow again and here is the opportunity, only what happens next is a total switcharoo. Addison becomes the "Ace in the clubhouse" until she learns the truth about lots of things, with Crow's help. Light love story after a shaky start.
Soulless Kings MC new President Crow has his work cut out after taking the gavel after his fathers' death. Somebody is trying to frame the club and take them down.
Addison has always wanted her father, the Chief of Police to notice and acknowledge her worth in the Police Dept. Newly promoted to detective she sets her sights on investigating the Soulless Kings to gain his attention.
When Crow and Addison meet at a club party, he knows he wants her and sets about proving the clubs innocence.
What a fantastic start to this new series, plenty of action, tension, drama and suspense. I’m really looking forward to more of this Soulless Kings chapter.

Crow is the Prez of The Soulless Kings MC in Texas. He’s surprised to find the girl he knew from his youth at a club party. She’s none other than Addison, current detective and daughter of the chief of police. Ah I love the Soulless Kings MC and this is a new chapter one where we go to Marble Falls and meet Crow who is the Pres of the MC. Straight off we are thrown into the drama when cop Addison goes undercover to find out the truth but finds so much more . She starts to question everything she ever knew and that puts her in danger. They are total opposites who have hit chemistry, fantastic banter and even though they tried to keen their distance well love always wins. Addison as always wanted her dad’s approval from a young age, that’s why she went into the police academy then went to be a detective.
Crow is the MC president after his father passed away, he will do anything for his family and that means keeping Addison, to show her that we are the good guys.
Addison will do anything to bring down the MC, but she starts to have doubt.
Can Addison have what they crave or will it all go bad?
Wow. This was an interesting start to a new story. It kept me wondering what will happen next. There was some shocking events. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Crow and Addi together, they knew each other as kids, but they brought back together when stuff goes wrong. Addi is ambitious and career driven. But when she starts to see the right side she learns more.
Andi writes the best characters. I flew through this story, staying up way too late. Gray is definitely a party of Andi’s stories and it begs the question, are we all a little gray? Yes, we are and it is perfectly okay. Crow and Addison’s being on opposite sides of the law is getting to be one of my jams. I feel that Andi blends characters perfectly. I loved this story and cannot wait for the other SKMC-MF stories.
I'm so glad this author decided that she wasn't done with the Soulless crew. What a way to start off a new series!!! I couldn't not add it to my top reads list, as the twist got me good. I never saw it coming. This couple both together and apart will surprise you. Never judge a book by it's cover, and always make sure you have the facts straight before pointing fingers. It could be a matter of life or death.
Addi was a detective following in her dad’s footsteps but he never showed her how proud he was and all because she’s a she, when an opportunity arrives for her to find evidence in the Soulless Kings clubhouse and show her dad what she’s capable of she takes it, as she gets closer to Crow, she remembers him from school, the truth becomes apparent and that other forces are to blame.
A great start to this series! I couldn’t put it down. I have loved any book I have read from this author. She has quickly became a top author for me. This book just pulled me right in from the beginning. Addison comes to a club party trying to prove she’s a great detective. Crow is trying his best to show her that they aren’t as bad as she thinks they are. We get to watch it all unfold. There are twists and turns so hold on

Crow and Addi have known each other since childhood. She's the daughter of a cop, who followed in her father's footsteps, he's the President of the local 1% club.
We all know it shouldn't work between them, especially as the cops are gunning for the MC for things they apparently didn't commit.
Can the two of them find their way through to the truth, and each other?
Addison is determined to prove her chief of police father wrong that she doesnt belong on the force by taking down the MC only prez, Crow has other ideas keeping Addison captive to show her the good the MC does, he's drawn to her but will he be able to show her what the MC family is all about? Well written steamy engaging, funny, desires action and more!
First book in the Marbles Falls Texas chapter of Soulless Kings MC. This is the story of the pres, Crow, who has taken over the gavel after his father died and the daughter of the police chief, Addison. The club is being framed and Addison wants to prove herself to her father. What could go wrong? Great storyline with twists and turns along the way. I look forward to the rest of the series!
An on the edge of your seat, invigorating and intense roller coaster ride to go on. Crow and Addison are total opposites but fit perfectly together. Their fiery banter, quick come backs and smoking hot chemistry kept me riveted. I enjoyed every single moment of this book.
I can’t believe I have never read this author before. I enjoyed it way more than I expected and it had so many great characters that I can wait to read the rest in this series
