My 6 (&7 !) year old can’t get enough of Junie B. As a reader/audible listener, The pet fish stick was the best.

As a mother, I don’t always feel that Junie B. faces enough consequences for her actions. However, I just have to make sure to read these with my kids and discuss her antics. For example Junie BJunie cuts her own hair and winds up looking better than before? Come on, not realistic.

A really fun read though.

Her antics are endless! She is especially naughty in book #10, Junie B. Jones Is a Beauty Shop Guy. After I read this one to my girls we had a discussion about why it is important to let a PROFESSIONAL Hair Stylist cut your hair and that scissors are made for cutting PAPER ONLY and only paper that you have PERMISSION to cut, etc.

Junie B. Jones is cute to read about, but I certainly wouldn't want to live with her.

This was a really funny series of books. Park kept true to the identity of a kindergartener and Junie's actions were very realistic. I loved her innocence and mischievous nature. She could pull off both at the same time when decided how to handle lost and found in Junie B. Jones is not a Crook. She tries to listen to her parents, but can't seem to stay out of trouble. She reminds me a lot of my students and I really enjoyed reading about her antics.

Lana Quintal does such a good job reading the Junie B. Jones books. We've started searching for the audiobooks rather than just reading them ourselves. Each character has a distinct voice, and she doesn't sound like an adult trying to talk like a kid. She sounds like Junie B. Jones.

A LONG TIME AGO I read this book and she is so funny because she is so much trouble in a funny way and she seems to handle it in a good way and does not get in trouble! Her parents might not think she is lier so when she lies her parents take it real!!
