He is mostly known for his work throughout the 1990s on Marvel Comics' X-Men-related titles specifically Uncanny X-Men, the main title itself, and the spin-off series that he conceived with artist Chris Bachalo, Generation X. Generation X focused on a number of young mutant students who attempted to become superheroes in their own right at a separate school with the guidance of veteran X-related characters Banshee and Emma Frost. He also had writing stints on Marvel's Fantastic Four, Alpha Flight, and The Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix mini-series with artist Gene Ha. He wrote the script to Stan Lee's Mosaic and an upcoming film from POW Entertainment featuring Ringo Starr. He also participated in the Marvel Comics and Image Comics (from Jim Lee's WildStorm) crossover mini-series WildC.A.T.s/X-Men.

This was a better origins story then the one with Action comics 0
its all about Jor El superman's father
and his scientific research trying to find out if his planet is really doomed
and the opposition who doesn't want to truth to be public sadly we didn't know much about them i hope i find out more in this volume

A good background look into Jor-el's life on Krypton

Estamos ante un cómic importante para la trama de Superman de Los Nuevos 52, escrito por Scott Lobdell. Entre las cosas a destacar, es interesante ver a Jor-El en acción, y jamás pensé ver a Lara siendo pelirroja.
En los últimos días de Krypton, Jor-El tomó una "cápsula ambiental", un transporte especial de su propia creación, para investigar el núcleo del planeta. Sus investigaciones en el subsuelo confirmaron las sospechas de que su mundo se está muriendo desde dentro. Mientras continúa por el túnel subterráneo, Jor-El encuentra un agujero cubierto por un líquido misterioso. Jor-El se da cuenta de que el líquido es en realidad una forma de vida ácida que intenta atravesar la cápsula ambiental. Sabiendo que su vida corre peligro, Jor-El regresa a la superficie, abandonando su investigación. Al regresar al centro de investigación, Jor-El planea hacer de nuevo el viaje, pero los técnicos le responden que necesitará la autorización del Consejo Científico... y ahí es donde todo se complica.
