OMG! OMG! Wow, I was absolutely astounded reading this book it was fantastic, this story was amazing it was definitely one to pull you in from the start. The story about Heidi as a doctor that they call her the ice Queen because of her hearing impairment and she had secrets she was excellent in her work. She never told people what happened to her when she was young, never wanting anything to do with criminals until she witnessed something she shouldn't have. Amadeo is a criminal he is ruthless and he just happened to take someone out, he never pretends to be good, Amadeo is not supposed to have a heart or one that he shows to just anyone and he falls for the doctor now he wants her. There was so many twist and turns out cab bb.

Okay read. Deo's issue has been solved around 30% of the book, and the rest of the story is finding out why some people are looking for Heidi.
Deo took Heidi as his captive when she witnessed him killing someone. And after two days the issue was resolved quickly and Heidi was sent to her apartment knowing there was no threat anymore for her. But after a day or two Deo went to her apartment and they started sleeping together (for about two weeks)
Idk but the story wasn't intriguing for me. Heidi has been called the ice queen in the hospital. She's partially deaf and she reads people's lips to know what they're saying and that's how she became a doctor. But for some reason this strong persona only exists towards other people. Because when it comes to Deo, she's always horny and has no backbone. Always willing to do whatever he says and she's the one who keeps asking the ("what are we") question. For someone who knows how the fuck buddy works (the villain in the beginning was her fb), she's really crap when it comes to Deo. I really wished she didn't come off as clingy and desperate but she's blinded by lust that makes her want more from their situation. Sue me, but I would love this if she stayed an ice queen even though they're sleeping together and made Deo chase after her.
As for Deo, I think his character is bland. I don't remember anything from his personality aside from the fact that he only sleeps with women twice max (if they hold his interest) and that he likes it hard and dirty. He did show some possessiveness and jealousy but it seems so forced. I really can't remember anything about him, only that he's always turned on and very much in lust with Heidi. I didn't like the fact that he only acknowledged his feelings for her at 95% and that's waaay too long to be freaking in denial.
Overall, this book isn't for me. I didn't connect with the MCs and I feel like what they have is only built in lust. There's no emotional connection and that story felt meh. Also, that ending? He just told her she's moving in with him and that's it. I mean, why is it just like that?
Anyway, while this didn't work for me. Other readers might find this interesting.

‘Corrupted Seduction’ is the 7th book in this series by Kiana Hettinger and she pulled out all the stops! WOW! Amadeo and Heidi are so sexually compatible: dirty, kinky, and primal! He has always been but she’s just discovering her inner needy erotic nature. What a team! He’s determined to keep her at bay and she’s struggling to understand their connection.
Kiana takes these 2 characters and through well crafted dialogue she brings out their personalities, strengths and weaknesses, melds them into an opposites attract couple. He’s protective, ruthless, and mesmerized by her prim and proper demeanor: he wants to dirty her and claim her body, heart, and soul. I loved their HEA and the bonus chapter is hotter than the sun!.

Stated off great and I was convinced I was going to love it. Unfortunately it lost me about the halfway mark. It’s an ok read and I still enjoyed it but I was expecting more.

Corrupted Seduction is the seventh in the series but can be read as a standalone. It's the story of Heidi and Deo. A nurse and a mafioso, whose lives seem miles apart, but as their paths cross and they begin to get closer, it becomes apparent that their lives interlink more than they knew.
As a young girl, Heidi watched both of her parents be brutally murdered. On that night she lost not only her family but her hearing too. I genuinely enjoyed the fact that the main female lead in this story was deaf, it added a new character dimension when as an adult she met with Deo who thought she was ignoring him and being nonchalant when really it was just a case of her not knowing he was talking to her as he was facing away. There were several moments where the author did a fantastic job portraying the character's struggles making it seem like she had really done her research - mentions of how nightclubs and people shouting over music changed the way their mouths moved making it harder to lipread to feeling for vibrations made the character believable.
I enjoyed the push and pull of this couple as Heidi tried to come to terms that life wasn't as black and white as she had tried to make it. Where she would define herself as good and Deo's lifestyle as being bad, she soon learnt things weren't as straightforward and there was a lot of grey territory, something which she had to accept if she was to be in Deo's life. Deo tried to keep his distance from Heidi, whilst his attraction was made clear to readers it was almost like he was trying to protect her from his lifestyle even being cruel with his wording at times but as 'prim and proper' as he labelled her to be she was a firecracker that made her both extremely likeable and incredibly hard to keep at a distance.
It was a great mix of spice and storyline. Elements of danger and desire, love and lust, pain, pleasure and punishment.

Didn't get half way through this before giving up unfinished. The author uses the same words and phrases repetitively even in the same paragraphs and constantly switches from present tense first person to past tense first person was also off putting. Haven't read the other books in this series, in fact I think this was my first book by this author and there was just nothing to this except for endless pages of boring filler.
There's a bit of background, hearing impaired heroine, someone killled her parents, later she dates the wrong mafia guy, leading to her being taken captive by his ememy, who is of course a gorgeous man she instantly lusts after and he instantly lusts after her. But that's it. It's not actually a story. Even what lust/heat was here was boring and done in every other book out there.
I gave up because it felt like I was reading nothing but pointless, unnecessary and boring filler, pages and pages of their thoughts and conversations just setting up scenes that ended up being nothing really. Apart from the initial idea with the heroine's parent's deaths causing her hearing damage, there was nothing here to keep my interest.
And while the writing isn't terrible, it is too repeating, making the pointless and time wasting filler even worse. And the way these supposed bad guys spoke to each other and the endless wittering on, it was just cringing and embarrassing. This really was good. I usually try at least two books by an author but after this I'm not keen on starting another. The writing just doesn't have the professional maturity to create bad guys and Alpha male hero's, these ones made me cringe how they spoke.

A haunting tale of betrayal, with a fabulous array of characters, the perfect page tuner. Marvelously written with action, excitement, intrigue, suspense, thrills and some steamy erotic romance, a mafia type of a happily ever after.
An outstanding book about a half deaf ER doctor meeting a mafia man and finding out about her past. The doctor when she was younger watched her parents get murdered and on that same night she lost part of her hearing. The mafia man is from a group of families that have allied themselves together to help one another with certain problems, the families that they are allied with are friends or soon to be family in one way or another.
They meet when someone tries to go after her and one of his associates helps her but after that when at a safehouse they are attacked she comes to the rescue tending to the same associate who helped her before. The two at first find themselves drawn to one another.
The associate and the ER doctor become close and he’s the one as well as a nurse at the hospital that gets her to stop thinking of everything being black and white that there are different colors other than those two in the world.
By the end the two go on a treasure hunt, save a young boy, find out who’s trying to kill her and she finds out that she has family still alive. The ER doctor wants to take in the young boy they saved as well as his sister, and the mafia man has them all move in with him in the family mansion because he and the doctor are a couple.

What I liked- things that stood out to me were the sizzle and energy between the romantic leads, the side characters, the vivid descriptions, and the pacing and excitement levels. I also liked that the heroine is differently abled, yet compensated for her disability in a creative yet realistic way. The author handled this with respect.
What I didn’t- not much. I had a couple of lingering questions. Why was Heidi with Elio in the first place? He didn’t have a lot going for him. His personality was pretty awful and his zexytime skills were lacking. This would suggest that Heidi had a self esteem problem, but there was no evidence of that elsewhere in the book.
Verdict- highly recommended. I enjoyed every minute of this book and ended each chapter eager to read the next. Amadeo is my new book boyfriend.

Part of the Mafia Kings Corrupted series each can be read as a standalone an overprotective and a broken women who captures his attention in the best way. Heidi is makes you love her an amazing doctor with the nick name of the Ice Queen not that has ever bothered her she has a hearing impairment that she didn’t let her stop her but her childhood wasn’t ideal things happened that shaped her and made her the women she is today. Amadeo sexy as all get out ruthless with a reputation proceeding him, deadly every day and loves just as hard although he doesn’t show it often he does have a heart so when the doctor witness something she shouldn’t have well he can’t let that slide. They say opposite attract and these two prove that point the magnetic pull between them can’t be ignored but boy when they do give what out but can she learn to accept what she went through as a child, will he help her deal with it, can they figure it out together, and find happiness somewhere on the crazy ride?

I absolutely love Heidi the MFC. Heidi is a woman who lost her parents in a very traumatic event and that event caused her to have serious hearing loss. Kudos to have a main female character with a disability that doesn’t prevent her from being strong, tough and aggressive. Heidi is a doctor who although good at her is very cold and aloof. Heidi goes to visit a boyfriend and walks into a very dangerous situation. She is then kidnapped and held by the men who killed an associate of her boyfriend. Heidi although repulsed by her kidnapper Amadeo she is also strangely aroused by him and his large duffel bag of tools. Amadeo is truly a good guy. He hurts and kills those that absolutely need to be taken care of. He’s protective of Heidi but he doesn’t do love. Can these two aloof and withdrawn people find love together?
It’s great when you see characters from other books make appearances in subsequent books. It was good to see Greta being her same crazy self.

"Corrupted Seduction" is a pleasant surprise. A crime story with lots of well written steam and suspense.
What I did Like:
- The writing was extremely good, the way i like it.
- The steam was hot
- There were good plot twists
- Nice characters (bot MCs and secondary ones)
What I did not like:
- Too many descritpions of violent acts
- I got a little bored towards the end, while until then i was captivated.
Overall, an excellent story with suspense, some action, steam and emotions.
I will definitely read more from the author.

What is it about morally gray characters and piercings? Yum!!
I love love the men in these stories. It’s no wonder the women fall so fast, though I think it’s the men refusing that actually fall faster.
Heidi is an absolute spitfire. She has been through a lot and has closed herself off because of it, but Deo 😍
After what Heidi found in his bag, I expected a bit more in certain scenes, hoping the bonus chapter fills that missing piece. That aside, nothing disappointed.
Action, revenge, hot as hell….yes please!

This was the 7th book in the series and the first that I have read. I think I would have really benefitted from reading the first 6th because there seemed to be a lot of backstory but it isn't essential. The book was easy enough to understand without it.
The book was thoughtfully written and well-researched, from medicine to torture to hearing loss. It wasn't overly gory but be prepared for some violence. The sex scenes were decent and the characters were interesting. I like that it took me a while to warm up to the female lead and she was deeper and her character was more fleshed out than most female characters I've read in Mafia Romances. I will definitely be reading other books in the series.

I really liked this latest installment of the Mafia Kings series. Heidi Dawson, the FMC, overcomes her horrific childhood to become a respected emergency room doctor. She's strong and determined, with a moral code that makes her see things in terms of black and white. Stumbling across Amadeo Luciano and his mafia kin has her seeing things differently.
This is a romance with plenty of steam. But I enjoyed the story of how and why Heidi's life becomes embroiled with the mafia, and how she evolves into the woman she finally becomes.

Heidi and Amadeo .. from two different walks of life. Heidi is a strong, assertive female who has snark and a bite. Her moral compass is based on her past and watching her parents get murdered.
Amadeo is NOT a knight in shining armor. She walks in in something she shouldn’t have and he takes her to keep her quiet.
These two bounce off of each other .. each enjoying the others strength and determination. There is a lot of change in Heidi throughout this … she has to decide if there is more than a black and white view to the world.
Definitely a book I would read again ..

Amadeo is NOT a knight in shining armor. She walks in in something she shouldn’t have and he takes her to keep her quiet.
These two bounce off of each other .. each enjoying the others strength and determination. There is a lot of change in Heidi throughout this … she has to decide if there is more than a black and white view to the world.
Definitely a book I would read again ..

A great story of Heidi the ER room doctor better known as the Ice Queen witnesses a murder and then is taken captive by Amadeo. He has a ruthless with a reputation, but he can't kill the sexy woman who witnessed what he did. Gotta love a feisty woman, one who tries to hide her hearing impairment and tries to live a normal life after her parents are murdered. When it looks like her life is in danger, he keeps her safe, he's not supposed to have a heart, but she's worked her way into his. A captivating story as secrets are unraveled and the past comes knocking for revenge, death and what's owed the mafia. I truly enjoyed this story about Heidi and Amedeo so much it was hard to stop reading after each chapter was finished. Heidi had a very dramatizing early life but turned it around to become a doctor. She was known as the Ice doctor and that all changed when she met Amedeo. It was fun watching these two work their way through their feelings for each other. To add to the story we got to see characters from the earlier series. I have enjoyed reading these series very much and I wish I had the talent this author has in her imagination to come up with these plots. Bravo!

After a long night as an ER doctor, Heidi stumbles upon a murder. Amadeo had to step in when Heidi shows up unexpectedly and has to make sure she is not a threat. But threats keep coming after them and it pushes Heidi and Amadeo together to figure out who is behind the threat. The chemistry between the two is great. The plot has different theme from the previous books in the series which is a nice change. This author knows how to deliver.

Amadeo and Heidi have a passionate relationship. Heidi is a strong, smart and independent woman despite her disability. It was refreshing that Heidi was not afraid to say what she wants when she wants. It was funny when Heidi took over the situation and started giving orders before Amadeo realized she was a doctor. Their story takes unexpected twists and keeps things interesting until all is explained at the end.

Amadeo and Heidi makes for an intriguing couple in this drama filled story. When Heidi walks in on a murder scene, she tries to take out the killer only to be stopped and taken hostage. Things are definitely not as they seem and as they are forced to be in close proximity feelings begin to develop between them. Will this be a love match? I enjoyed reading Heidi and Amadeo's story as I connected with these two.

What a wonderful story, we follow Amadeo and Heidi. Heidi is hearing impaired, but Amadeo doesn't know that, only that he is in love with her, what started as a hook-up slowly grows into something more and he learns that she is hearing impaired and can read lips. This was a wonderful story with plenty of emotions, and some drama and chemistry and attraction and plenty of steam and hot moments between them. Highly recommended.

This is Book 7 in the Mafia Kings: Corrupted Series and my first read by this author, and I must say that I quite enjoyed the storyline and characters. It is a suspenseful mafia romance between Heidi and Amadeo. These flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. What starts out as a kidnapping turns into something more. It is a love story with drama and steam, danger and violence, sexual tension and chemistry, and engaging secondary characters. Engaging page turner.

Amadeo and Heidi
This was a good story.The plot had suspense and enough conflicts to make it interesting.There were several memorable characters besides the leads that kept my interest.There was violence, brutality and other typical Mafia elements that aren't for sensitive readers.Heidi's deafness was an unexpected quirk.This book continues the series with recurring characters from the previous books.I enjoyed the story. It also had plenty of sex,rather hard- core at times.I enjoyed this book alot.

Amadeo and Heidi are all the feels!!! This books was good! Filled my need for thrill, angst, love, protection, spice, The story was done amazingly well with a main female character that isn’t afraid to stand up to anyone. I enjoyed the humour and sarcasm at times which made me laugh. Really enjoyed this book and will definitely read more by this author..

Loved this book from word one to the last sentence. It's original, it's intelligent, the characters are just OMG hot and they work together on a level that isn't just a "whoops, we ended up together" but instead they REALLY seem to get each other.

Well written the story is engaging, the push and pull between Deo and Heidi keep ypu on your toes and and the action keeps in coming! A great addition to the series

Corrupted Seduction is a great, dramatic, intense story. Amadeo and Heidi are fantastic characters and the storyline is consuming. Hearing impaired Heidi and Amadeo have off the charts HOT chemistry. They are the most unlikely couple which makes their story most intriguing to watch unfold. I absolutely LOVE their journey and completely enjoyed this book.

The series and the author is great. Love the cameo appearances from previous book characters. This book is innocence meets mafia. I enjoy reading about mafia guys falling hard when they swear it won’t happen to them. Hot and steamy, full of loyalty, lies and romance. Great book.

This book captured my attention right from the first page. It’s an amazing read. I Loved Amedeo and Heidi. Their attraction was super Hot! The plot was entertaining and full of drama, suspense, twists, betrayal, revenge, steam and passion. This is truly a must-read. *this was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review*
