Just as it looks like all hope is lost, Will receives a text message from a friend he thought dead. Asking if anyone is still out there. If anyone is still alive.
The Will is in London. His friend is in Brighton.
But after calling and getting no reply, Will makes the decision without hesitation. He will make the long journey to Brighton, across the silent, deathly wasteland that the world has become.
Yet, it is a journey that he will not have to make alone . . .
Episode two in The A-Virus series, three short reads that weave a thrilling, post-apocalyptic tale!
I loved it. An amazingly easy-to-read and compelling story. Our main character, Will, meets Chloe and they continue together on the journey to Brighton in the hope that Wills friend is still alive.
Will and Chloe are travelling down to Brighton after Will gets a text from his best friend Mitchell, who is saying he's still alive . They find a young baby in the arms of his dead mother . Now the 3 of them continue on to Brighton . Chloe opens up about her life before and it strengthens the bond between them . Looking forward to the next book.
Things have gotten deadly it's always the nut jobs that survive when good people don't . This has gotten very dark I hope that they survive and that Will finds his friend alive .
Things have turned a little dark in the story. Will meets Chloe & they rescue a baby. Chloe has a shady background. And the ending of the book takes a turn for the worse. I’m going to attempt to read the next book but not so sure I will continue past that.

This was another short episode, quick read. The story flows very well, Will meets up with Chloe and then the two of them rescue baby Daniel. Most of the population appears to be dead. But what an awful scary cliffhanger.
This one felt a bit lackluster to me, it didn't really go anywhere for a good 70 of the 90 pages. I really enjoyed the end though and it has made me want to read part 3.
