Prue Bishop is a 26-year-old self-proclaimed workaholic. Having grown up in an orphanage, she is driven to a fault, leaving herself no time for relationships.
When Theo Wentworth first lays eyes on Prue, he is immediately transfixed. In order to ensure she will be his, he is willing to do whatever it takes, obliterating all lines.
Hot dang! This one is hands-down my favorite Eva Marks book so far. Stalkėd has all the best tropes and kìnks with a dash of suspense and enough plot to keep readers flipping pages. Theo ultimately tones his behavior down in order to keep Prue and, I personally would have preferred him to remain unchanged. However, he is the type of unhinged hero I swoon over and is otherwise, obsessive/possessive perfection!

I don’t know why I just wasn’t feeling this book. The hero felt so icky for some reason. I don’t know what about him but I felt so weird about reading this book. it was a weird combination of obsessive, possessive, stalkerish, but the Hero WAS NOT charming at all. like if you know me you know I love psychotic heroes. The more mentally insane the better. But this book felt so icky!!!!!! the H was a doctor but had no redeeming qualities. maybe i’m getting older but the amount of smut in this book was too much. i didn’t feel a connection at the couple at all. i was seriously scratching my brain as to why he was so obsessed with her and why she lets him do whatever he wants to her 🤔 it was weird and reading it made me feel so icky and this has NEVER happened to me before 👎

This book was amazingly well written plus had 100/10 smut plus wonderful characters plus soo many tropes I love (stalking, jp Hero, intelligent and sweet heroine, somnophilia, rough seggs and many many others) so I completely felt like I hit the jackpot!
Was it a little unrealistic and over the top and absolutely romantic? Sure, but that's exactly what I needed and why I read mostly romance.
I'll definitely keep a close eye on this author <3

DNFed with a heavy heart.
I think what I expected to get from this book and what I actually got are like 2 completely different things.
And honestly?
I gotta admit that after a series of DNFs and very disappointing reads, I finally hoped this book would be a nice turning point.
However, when the hero pulled out his big gun and shoved it into the heroine's pussy in chapter 5, I lost all that glimmer of hope once and for all.
May I add that they were complete strangers?
Or that the heroine was a 25yo virgin?
Or that they did it in a public pool?
With no protection, since he claimed he was clean?
And all that happened after they exchanged their names, something that lasted what, 2-3 minutes?
I admit, I do like my heroes fucked in the head and psychotic, obsessively thinking of the heroine, stalking her, doing all kinds of fucked up things.
But it has to be toned-down and well-balanced.
A perfect example?
The Bad Guy by Celia Aaron. I looooooved Sebastian Lindstrom. He was the epitome of what a morally grey, fucked in the head hero should be like.
Another example? Jeremy Volkov from God of Wrath by Rina Kent.
These are the heroes I want in my reads.
Theo, however, is a very OTT, insta-everything on steroids kinda hero.
And it may sometimes work for me in short stories, but here it was just way too much and waaaaaaay too fast, to the point where you kinda get everythiing right at the beginning, instead the end:
-the love/lust at first sight
-the promise of hea with the heroine
-the first kiss/ smex
And yet, I don't know anything about these characters.
I skimmed this mess till chapter 10 and then I waved a white flag.
I lost all the interest very quickly.
I did like the style of writing, I'll give you that, it was pretty good.
So maybe I'll try sth else from this author, dunno.
But this?
This is a big fat nope from me.

I have to say, this theme was absolutely mesmerizing! Every moment captured my attention and left me craving more. The tantalizing darkness intertwined with provocative elements and enticing smut created an experience that was both thrilling and indulgent, pulling me deep into the author's vivid world. I found myself longing to relive that exhilarating first encounter all over again! The intricate dance of doctor-patient dynamics, coupled with intense undertones of stalking, added electrifying tension that held me captive from beginning to end. Eva, with her compelling depth and irresistible stories, remains one of my all-time favorite authors, making this journey unforgettable!

Theo is a gynecologist that never saw himself settling down because work was his love but when he sets his eyes on Prue, well that changes. He stalks her in the most deviant ways and when he finds Prue on his exam table…things heat up fast. Let me tell you…IT WAS HOT.
I really enjoyed this smutty and slightly angsty story. Prue and Theo were perfect for each other and I loved Theo’s complete devotion to Prue. He was completely smitten and possessive over his girl and Prue loved being his slut. Everything about this story was kinky yet loving. Eva Marks does dirty romance right.

She eventually gives up because she loves him, and he’s been good to her 🙄
Then later she learns all the creepy shit he’s been doing, and she asks for some space.

Prue was such a sweet FMC, she really deserved all the love. The spice was *chefs kiss* but that's not a surprise. The chemistry and the sexual tension were so good. I couldn't get enough of these characters! I love Eva's writing and I highly recommend this book if you're into dark romance with all the kinks and triggers!

I was so so so excited for this book but unfortunately this just didn’t work for me how I wanted it to. The first 25% was utter perfection, I loved. I love a women from an innocent, mildly sheltered life and a man so obsessed that it hurt.
I think my main issue was our FMC it feels like her personality didn’t go deeper than her past, it was the one thing that was constantly harped on.
The MMC god damn was written to perfection. A morally grey man just for her. He was obsessed from the moment he saw her and went against every rule he has for himself. This man wanted to protect her and defile in her in very filthy ways.
This book is spicy to the MAX. I mean Miss Eva did not miss there. I wish there was slightly more plot but a girl can’t be too mad with plenty of smut.
I received this book as an ARC and I am so incredibly grateful but my opinions also 100% my own.

I love everything Eva Marks writes, her writing is fun and sexy in all the right ways. This was a great read that helped reset for the week and get sucked back into the world of unhinged men.

Holy cow this book was so good ! Dr wentworth is like a dr mcdreamy with an evil and passive side .
I was obsessed with Prue I loved her personality and what she was all about, she had no filter and spoke her mind .

Eva delivers yet again. I devoured this book. Theo was unhinged but so hot. He also had a d!rty möuth and I loved it. Loved Prue. She was so quiet at first and I know it was a struggle to be intimate and stuff. But omg Theo and her together were chef’s kiss. Their chemistry & s3xual tension was so good. I couldn’t get enough of them. Definitely recommend reading this. Love Eva’s writing.

The h is a 26 yr old v card and she sees this guy at the pool at their apartment place and lets him dirty bang her right there… lol honestly it would’ve been a dope jessa Kane book if its was like 200 pages shorter bc I expect a ridiculous instant obsession with JK but this is 300 pages and I’m at 54% and just bored outside of the spicy time… not for me.

I tried and i tried so hard to finish this book but i just can’t!!! And i hate to DNF a book but I just can’t with this one.
The Hero was so icky and just…. a fucking horny guy 24/7!!! Mind you, i usually love an obsessive, stalkerish, possessive heroes. But this just wasn’t it.
And the Heroine was supposed to be a shy, innocent and an introvert who stayed at home most of the time.. but the second she met a “charming guy” in her apartment’s pool, she was like.. “i want you.. please take my virg*nity”, WHICH HE DID! IN A PUBLIC POOL! IN A POOL???!!! AS A GYNECOLOGIST HE THOUGHT ITS A GOOD IDEA??!
And the amount of smut in this book was too much, I can’t even see the plot anymore. All they did 90% in this book was fucking. Just with different positions and places.

Steamy read. Has a very well done blend of dubcon and consent. The heroin was really enjoyable also because she grows throughout the book and self- reflect. She's also one of those rare heroines who, when needs to, doesn't give in to body betrayal syndrome and handles her business.
The book starts off with for a little orphan to Prue and and insta love/lust stalker Theo. Both have good backstories that affect their character and decisions but isn't annoyingly shoved down our throats every second page. There's no cheating and no ow/om drama. Definitely looking forward to more by this author.
