First of all will you look at that awesome cover?? Heiya went total Amazon warrior after her first game. Lol.

It seems like the makers of the live action have read the entire manga, which it good. There were similar scenes in the live action and I'm fine with the changes...
Kinda angry at mangaka-san. Why did you have to do that?? Bring us SO close to whatever the answer is?? (I've started to formulate many of my own theories. Let's see if any of it comes close to whatever the real answer is.)

I didn't know Mahjong was this complicated. I even watched a video and sort of read the wikipedia on it. Yet I barely understand it. Thankfully, it wasn't the K♦ game. The actual K game was hella interesting. Kinda wanna try that with friends and family (minus the death part ofcourse. Lol) .
Lastly, all hail Chisiya Shuntaro-sama.

Alice in Borderland #15 gives a glimpse of hope for finding out what is really happening in the Borderlands. It also gives a glimpse of Arisu. But the highlight and the main focus is Chisiya and his battle in the final game. Entertaining as always, the character proves once again why he is the public's favourite. Other than the story that mainly narrates the game between two old but known characters, the art was fine and masterful and the pace quick.

5 estrellas, el Rey de Diamantes es simplemente asombroso y debería admitir que mi falta de compresión en matemáticas hizo que en un inicio me sintiera más impresionada, sin embargo conforme va avanzando el juego y llegamos a puntos donde la racionalidad abandonó la habitación...casi por completo, pues simplemente se pone más y más emocionante con cada viñeta leída.
Además se cumplió mi deseo de ver más a Chishiya y siento que me va a doler ya no poder verlo una vez que acabe el manga. En fin, qué buen comienzo para este 2021.

Kameyama Kaito is a journalist who offers us a detailed analytical view of the Borderlands. He discovers that the purpose of the games might be not just to find winners, but to vet future citizens of the Borderlands.

Mahjong sure is a complicated game, but Chishiya Shuntaro nails it even when playing another experienced player, the Jack of Diamonds himself. Next is the King of Diamonds, Kuzuryuu Keiichi, formerly a trusted lieutenant of the Hatter. The game is a Keynesian beauty contest where one has to choose based not on one's own point of view, but on what they believe the averge opinion thinks the average opinion to be. That's not a typo, look it up on wiki. There are 5 players, all skilled at math, but the game has a psychological element too.

While the first few rounds go to the King, Chishiya defeats everyone's expectations with the better understanding of his opponents. The two players who think entirely mathematically and logically lose every round and ultimately the game. Chishiya makes a kind of team with the erratic player, a money lender in the real world, whose seemingly chaotic play ruins all logic. That is, until it kills her too, leaving, as expected, the King and Chishiya.

This was one of the best volumes yet! It starts by introducing us to Kameyama Kaito, a former journalist who has now found himself in the Borderlands. He chronicles his time there with a video camera hoping to document this new-found place, and who else to come across this video camera but our boi Arisu. Afterwards, we are quickly thrown back into the games. Chishiya is back! Another game unique to the manga (the Jack of Diamonds) is now shown. This game (a game of mahjong) goes rather quick, and then we are quickly tossed into the dreaded King of Diamonds game. The game is quickly coming to an end, but I have full confidence that Chishiya will prevail. He really steals the show. 5/5

Salah satu peserta bernama Kameyama Kaito berusaha merekam situasi dan kehidupan di Borderland. Dengan kamera seadanya, ia mencoba bertanya satu per satu kepada peserta tentang latar belakang dan pendapat mereka tentang kondisi setelah mereka mengikuti permainan di sana. Namun, tak disangka, tiba-tiba saja Kaito terkena tembakan dari King of Spades ketika ia sedang merekam, lantas ia langsung tewas di tempat. Beberapa waktu kemudian, Arisu pun menemukan kamera milik Kaito dan langsung menonton rekamannya.

Di sisi lain, Chishiya melanjutkan permainan dan kali ini ia berhadapan dengan King of Diamonds yang mana sebelumnya ia menyamar sebagai anggota the Beach.

Este es mi volumen favorito, exclusivamente por el capitulo King of Diamonds. Todo los capítulos donde Chishiya es el protagonista, me terminan fascinando, atrapando y siendo mis favoritos. Este fue de mis juegos favoritos en la serie, no porque lo entendiera y me creería capaz de resolverlo, si no, por la manera en que Chishiya lo hizo. Admiro su inteligencia, como también la del rey de diamantes.

La reine de coeur n'est visiblement pas pour tout de suite et ce retour en arrière me déçoit. La partie sur le reporter ne sert à rien tout comme je n'ai absolument rien compris au jeu du mahjong. L'arrivée du Cheshire et le retour du roi de carreau attise la curiosité mais je ne suis pas à 100% dedans même si l'idée est intéressante !

was okay I guess. loved the part with the video footage, but everything after was just... meh. I dont like how the woman from the king of diamonds game was written, and also i don't really care for the games chishiya plays... like all the games where he ends up playing with only strangers (blackjack, mahjong, and now this king of diamonds game) seem so boring to me

chishiya, the man who knows all. i wouldn't be surprised if he's the one to figure it all out. speaking of, i am BUZZING with excitement as i near the end.

The first half of this volume is quite a mess. Arisu appears on one page. Then there's two new games, even though the volume started stating that only the final game was left. The Mah Jong game was totally incomprehensible. But the Beauty Contest game was awesome.
