Social work practice with refugees and immigrants requires specialized knowledge of these populations, and specialized adaptations and applications of mainstream services and interventions. Had some good resources and points but nothing profound or extremely helpful

An introduction to the unique nature of social work with refugees and immigrants within the American context (including a history of immigration in America, an overview of relevant sociological theories, and a survey of related laws and policies). Despite this, the book falls short of providing much specific help (advising vaguely and providing many references but little interaction with social theories).
