Even though they’d never dated, Lily Shaw always just assumed she’d eventually end up with Ben, the boy who’s been her bestie since they were toddlers. So she’s understandably shocked to learn he’s getting married—and having a child with his fiancée. Shocked…but not terribly upset. The truth is, she's been feeling butterflies every time she’s near a particular horse trainer on her parents’ ranch. Unfortunately, though attracted to Lily, Maverick’s decided he has nothing to offer her beyond a good time.
The Shaws are all about family, something Maverick Prescott admires. But despite his boss treating him like another son, and Maverick wanting the man’s daughter in the worst way, how can he start something he doesn’t think he can finish? He has nothing to offer Lily, not even his own heritage. Just a past filled with so much pain, he decided a long time ago he’s best off spending his life alone, tending to the rescue horses who are just as damaged as Maverick.
Lily, however, is a typical Shaw—stubborn as the day is long. Getting into Maverick’s bed is the easy part; getting into his heart is the real challenge. But maybe if he feels loved enough, he’ll be willing to give them a chance.

Loved Enough is Maverick and Lily Shaw’s book. This was just so good. Maverick found his way to the Shaw ranch and was known as the horse whisperer. The Shaw’s have become the family he never had. Maverick’s always had his eye on Lily but never chose to acknowledge it because this family is so important to him.
I enjoyed this book and absorbed every second... these two were too cute!!! he's sweet and an orphan... and she has a loving family.
Featuring Lily Shaw and Maverick Prescott. This book tugged at my heart strings. It starts off with some unrequited love on Lily’s part, she thinks she’s in love with her Best Friend Ben, and his girlfriend absolutely hates his friendship with her. So Ben’s is a total ass, you’ll see! lol Maverick had a childhood spent in foster care and just tragedy. He has always loved Lily but feels he’s just a ranch hand on her daddy’s farm and isn’t good enough. Such a good book!

Loved Enough is the fifth book in Kelly Elliott's Love in Montana series. A second-generation small town, wholesome romance series which branches off from the original series, Meet Me in Montana . Each of the original main characters' children gets their own book and a shot at happily-ever-after.
For the full Montana effect, I would highly recommend going back to the start and the very beginning of it all with Never Enough . As a seasoned reader of Kelly's for over a decade, I've read everything this woman has written and can hand-on-heart say that the Meet Me in Montana is one of my favourite series' she's ever written. It's worth the journey through those four books, plus the four before this one, to constantly fall for its characters and their love stories. For a small town and close-knit family/friend group, each story truly is unique in its own way and you'll for sure find your favourite cowboy in the mix while getting to know them all.
Five years on from the conception of this world, and I'm still just as much in love with it then as I am now. More, if that's possible.
For those who have followed this series from the beginning, you will already be familiar with some of the characters who will make an appearance as well as some supporting characters making an appearance or two here and there. If you haven't read books one to four, then everyone here will be new to you as an adult from their births in the original series. The little lads and ladies are all grown up, spitting images of their beloved mothers and fathers.
Time to meet Lily Shaw and Maverick Prescott.
Have you ever loved someone for so long from afar? Lily Shaw has. Assuming she'd end up in a relationship with her long-time best friend Ben, she's understandably heartbroken when she finds out that he's getting married and having a child with his fiancée. A double-hit to the heart. Though she was shocked this news, she finds herself lacking the emotional upset that would come with such news. The cause of the lack of upset? One smoking-hot horse trainer on her parents' ranch. It seems though, that Lily is being set up for more heartbreak as though he is attracted to Lily as she is to him, Maverick has decided he has nothing to offer her other than a good time. Nothing more.
Working on a ranch with employers who are all about family is something Maverick Prescott admires and respects the hell out of. His boss doesn't treat him like a mere employee under his thumb, but as a son. Someone seeing him as something like that is not something he's ever had before. So how can he love the daughter of the boss that has his utmost respect and loyalty? Starting something with her that he knows he can never finish is not even an option this time. He has nothing to offer her, not even heritage. Only the pain that comes with the past that he has long-since left behind. Instead, he resigns himself to living a life of solitude--something he decided on a long time ago. Sticking to tending to the rescue horses who are just as damaged as him is the only thing he will ever do.
Ever the typical Shaw we have all come to know and love, Lily is determined and not easily swayed by Maverick's decision and logic, and her stubborn streak is a mile times ten wide. She's not giving up at the starting line. Getting him into bed--his or any other--was the easy part, as there's no denying the sizzling attraction between them, the hard part comes after that. Getting Maverick to let her into and wrap around his heart is going to be the biggest challenge she has ever set her mind to achieving. Perhaps when she's given it her all and shown him that he is in fact worthy of the love that he's avoided from others, that he is loved enough, she'll win his fragile heart for herself.
When you've immersed and invested yourself into a series for so long--which includes a second generation series if you are given one--, you'll find that the results pay off in spades and that's what has happened here with this novel. Sometimes novels dry out as the series expands, with all of the good stuff being used up in the first few. That is not the case here. Because the characters are both as similar to and different from one another, there's an endless tap to keep coming back to for a drink and dang, we thirsty for this one!
Anyone who knows me knows that I have had a long-standing favourite Main Male Character (MMC), which is none other than the man himself who started the book boyfriend obsession within this series, Blayze Shaw. With the swagger and charm equal to that of his father, Brock, it's no wonder that he's had a firm grip on my heart since meeting his adult self. If you've read his story, you'll know what I'm on about. However, there was always the possibility of his spot being taken by another as each new book in the series came along. That time has now officially come. Edging out just in front as my new favourite book boyfriend is none other than Maverick Prescott. Blayze sits comfortably a point or two behind him, but Maverick has done it. There's something mesmerising about him that can only be understood when reading this book, so what are you waiting for? Hit that pre-order button and see why I'm one-click away from booking a plane seat to Montana to find a real-life Maverick Prescott.
Everything I know and love about Kelly from ten years until now, is all wrapped up within this read. It proves in many ways why I am still so head-over-pages in love with her, her writing, her characters and the stories that just wrap around your heart and never let go. I hope people give this book and Kelly a chance just to see why she deserves to be an author for life and on your shelf.
A big hee-haw to Maverick, Lily and Kelly! You have all made me feel very much loved enough!
I honestly love reading Kelly Elliott books and every time I start any of them they feel like a light spring breeze.
Lily had feelings towards her best friend Ben for forever, and she always knew that they would end up being together. When certain news about Ben getting married gets to her, she starts realizing that those feelings were more on the friendship side. Ben's attitude hurts her a lot, and she sees that he doesn't value her friendship at all. For the first time, she knows that he is not the man for her and notices that someone else has her attention. Someone like... Maverick - the man who works for her father. Every single time she sees him, there are butterflies in her stomach and something that she never felt before. Maverick has liked Lilly since he first came to her father's ranch, but he thinks that he doesn't deserve her, because, after all, he is just a worker on the ranch.
I loooved these two. When Lily knew that she was falling towards Mav, she started tearing the walls he built around his heart bit by bit. She knows that he is becoming her soul mate and that her heart belongs to him. She makes him a better man and helps him see that he is a good man, and he deserves to be happy. To be fair, Maverick never stood a chance at Lily. He is already in love with her, but he is afraid to open his heart. But Lily... Lily is his forever home, and sometimes you have to take a chance.
Their sex scenes are just so damn hot 🔥🔥🔥. They are filled with so much spice and smut 🥵. Ever since their first spicy scenes, I have been hooked 🌶️🌶️🌶️.
Overall, I loved reading "Loved Enough" ♥️.
***I received an ARC from Grey's Promo and this is my voluntary review.***
Another hit from Kelly! After the preview of this book from the previous one, I was so excited to see where this would take me because I was so rooting for Maverick and Lily! Lily has been in love with her best friend Ben for years, but she knows that he doesn’t feel the same way, especially since his current girlfriend is making him choose between them and he is choosing his girlfriend. I honestly did not like Ben’s character at all – he was so judgmental and rude, even towards Lily’s family, and I didn’t see how she liked him at all. Maverick has held a crush on Lily since he started on the ranch but would never make a move since he’s an employee of her father’s as well as he feels not deserving of any sort of love. Thankfully, all that changes at the wedding when these two dance together and Lily starts to see Maverick as more than just a ranch hand. My heart truly broke for Maverick and what he experienced in life, and I was so glad that he ended up on the Shaw’s ranch and really became part of their family even before him and Lily got together, although he has a hard time accepting that. I loved this storyline and can’t wait to see if we get more! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Maverick may be my favorite character in this series so far. He has the brooding charm. The way he looks at Lily when she doesn’t realize it will make your heart flutter. Lily finally realizes her best friend Ben is not the man for her. Thank God. Looks like her family never liked him anyway. I also love Maverick’s back story. Now that he’s a part of the huge Shaw family, he is so happy and satisfied in his and now Lily’s life. I love this series so much and can’t wait for Bradly’s book.
“I want your smiles. I want your touch. Your laughter, your sorrow, your fears. I want it all. The good and the bad. I want you. But…I want your heart most of all.”
I absolutely love the Shaw family and love them even more after the way they wrapped Maverick in a hug and as part of their family. The way that Nathan and Tanner were team Maverick when Ben was being a jerk was awesome. It's always great to see the previous character and this book did not disappoint.
Lily and Maverick were such a cute couple. The way they took care of each other was endearing. Their chemistry was evident and their journey from friends to more was enjoyable. Their connection over horses was so special. I look forward to seeing them in future books!
I enjoyed the sneak peek of Bradley and Mackenzie and can't wait for their book!!
Really fun, entertaining read. Adored Maverick and Gigi, their love story was wonderful. Great spice and wonderful characters. *I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
She has always thought she was in love with her best friend until a new man catches her eye. He is a guy with a broken past who found his calling working with horses. They've known each other for years since he works for her father, but she just noticed how sweet and charming he is.
Lily Shaw, daughter of Tanner and Timberlynn Shaw, loves rehabilitating horses just like her parents. She has never pictured a future doing anything else. She has a guy best friend that she has always secretly pined for. But recently he began dating another woman who doesn't like Lily, which has caused some problems between their friendship. While at her cousin's wedding, a handsome man who works on her parents ranch, Maverick, asks Lily to dance. In those few moments, Lily realizes how special a guy Maverick is.
Maverick Prescott loves healing broken animals, especially horses. Growing up moving from foster home to foster home made him see the value in healing broken things. Running away as a teen and joining a horse ranch, Maverick found his calling. After bouncing around for a few years, Maverick got a job working for Tanner Shaw's ranch. Not only was it an incredible opportunity, Tanner saw something in Maverick that Maverick didn't even see. Over the years, the Shaws treated him more like family than an employee. Which is why he feels guilty for having feelings for their only daughter.
When Lily hears Maverick is sick, she rushes to his home to check on him. Over the next couple days she nurses him back to health. The intimacy of those days has Lily wondering why she never noticed Maverick as more than a friend. In a short amount of time Lily wants to spend more time getting to know the quiet, charming man who is talented at healing broken horses. Maverick tries to keep Lily at a respectable distance but she stubbornly pushes through. He is just a man without a family, in love with his boss's daughter, what could be more complicated than that?
Dual POV, forced proximity, open door love scenes.
Another sweet, charming story in the Shaw family. At first, I thought Lily was going to have a relationship with her best friend and excited about that trope. But then this story took a turn and left me wanting less of that guy. But the connection between Lily and Maverick is fun. The love is instant, the things keeping them apart are small, the chemistry is fun. Lily doesn't have a lot of depth but she is a enjoyable FMC. Maverick is charming and respectful to Lily (until he isn't, in a good way) and her family. It was lovely reading about Tanner and Timberlynn's family and the life they made for themselves. Maverick is a perfect fit for their family. Sweet HEA.
4.5stars-LOVED ENOUGH is the fifth instalment in Kelly Elliott’s contemporary, adult LOVE IN MONTANA erotic, romance series-a next generation, spin off from the author’s MEET ME IN MONTANA series. This is ranch hand Maverick Prescott, and Lily Shaw’s story line. LOVED ENOUGH can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. You do not have to have read the original series to follow or understand.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Lily and Maverick) LOVED ENOUGH follows the building romance and relationship between our story line couple. When Lily’s life long best friend and crush Ben announced his impending marriage to another woman, Lily was sad but not as devastated as she thought she would be. Seeing an opportunity at a mutual wedding, Shaw family rancher Maverick Prescott asked Lily to dance but within hours Maverick would fall ill, and Lily would become nursemaid and protector of our story line hero. Several days together would turn into something more but something of which Maverick struggles to accept. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between our Maverick and Lily, as Maverick continues to believe he is not worthy of Lily’s love.
The world building focuses on the growing relationship between our story line couple; the hard work and potential threats to a large horsing ranch, and the potential for heart break as Maverick struggles with demons from the past.
The relationship between Maverick and Lily begins as friends although Maverick has been in love with Lily from the first time they met. Knowing Lily was pining after her childhood friend, Maverick would watch from the sidelines as Lily finally accepted there would be nothing more. As Lily and Maverick’s relationship continues to grow, the past returns demanding another chance. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is another large ensemble cast of colorful, familiar and fun secondary and supporting characters from both of the aforementioned series including Lily’s parents Tanner and Timberlynn, her uncles Brock and Ty, several cousins, as well as her ex best friend Ben.
LOVED ENOUGH is a story of family and friendships, relationships and love. The premise is delightful and lively; the characters are sassy, animated and determined; the romance is seductive and spicy.

Shannan – ☆☆☆☆☆ LOVED ENOUGH is the fifth installment in the Love in Montana series. It can be read as a standalone but reads much better if you read it in the order that the author intended. Each book builds upon the next and having each character's story reads so much better.
Lily Shaw thought she'd eventually end up with her best friend, Ben. Her feelings grew the more time they spent together until he got a girlfriend who was jealous of their friendship. Ben had to choose between them and didn't choose Lily. Lily was hurt but becoming friends with the sexy cowboy working on her father's ranch, Maverick Prescott. Lily's parents treated Maverick like one of their own. Maverick had a rough past and found a family with the Shaws. One that he didn't think he deserved even though they tried to show him time and time again.
Maverick didn't want to get close to Lily Shaw – not only was she the boss's daughter, he couldn't willing give his heart to anyone. But Lily knew what she wanted and was more than a little stubborn. She was willing fight for Maverick for the both of them.
Maverick and Lily have chemistry from the start. I can understand his being cautious not because he's not attracted to Lily but because he's lost so much, but he had so much more to gain with Lily and the Shaws. And I absolutely loved seeing Nathan take Ben down a few notches!!
I love this family with each generation and the world that Kelly Elliott has created. I can't wait for more!!

Lily Shaw, assumed she would end up with her best friend Ben, who she has known since they were toddlers. When she finds out that Ben is getting married to his girlfriend and she's pregnant, Lily is shocked but not upset. She thought she had feelings for him, but when he tells her about his life changing and the way he talks to her she is ok. However, she feels a pull towards a horse trainer that works on her parents' ranch. But can there be more between them then a friendship?
Maverick Prescott, had a tough childhood and is used to being on his own. He is afraid of letting others in, even when his boss tells him he is like a son to him. He has had a thing of Lily for awhile, but believes he doesn't have anything to offer her, so he tried to stay away. Maverick is one of the best guys and has a heart of gold, he just has to be strong and believe the Shaw family really has accepted him.
However, when Lily realizes the sizzling chemistry between the two of them and she decides she wants more, she has a challenge in front of her. One that any stubborn woman would meet head on. But will it be enough to show he really is loved and give them a chance?
Loved Enough is my first book by Kelly Elliott, I have read books under her other name and loved it so I thought I would give her Love In Montana series a try. I am so glad that I did. I loved Maverick and Lily's story. These two characters are raw, real, and honest. I loved how they were there for one another with no questions asked when they needed it. I loved how they each had their own special connection with the horses, it was special. Horses themselves are very special and I think they added something special to the story. I loved Loved Enough and I loved the Shaw family, they are the best. Lily's brother Nathan is great as well, he is going to grow up to be a good man, even as a teenager it was evident. I cannot wait to go back to the beginning of this series and get to know the Shaw family better. The Epilogue gave us a peek into who is next and their meeting was hilarious, I cannot wait for their book.

This is the fifth book in the Love in Montana series and once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. I’m a sucker from small town romance.
Lily Shaw has works on her family’s ranch and she always thought she always thought she would end up with her best friend Ben. But after sharing a dance with Maverick, she starts getting butterflies anytime she around him. Maverick is the sexy horse trainer that works on her family’s ranch and every since she first saw Lily he’s liked her but he doesn’t think he good enough for her. But things change when he get sick and she takes care of him unlocking new feeling between them. Then Ben drops a bomb on Lily that changes everything and she realizes that the feelings she think she has for Ben aren’t anything compared to what she feels for Maverick. She knows they’re something special about them and she will do anything to prove to him that he’s good enough. But will Maverick feel loved enough to open his heart or will past trauma ruin their chance? They had great chemistry and tension from the beginning and I enjoyed how their relationship grows throughout the book. And once they gave in they couldn’t stay away from each other. Theses two were definitely meant for each other. I loved how supportive they were of each other and how her family pulled him into the fold and treated him like family I really enjoyed all their moments together from her nursing him back to health to them spending time with the horse to falling in love and becoming a family. Overall, this book was great and the characters were great and I loved the ending. I can’t wait to read Bradley’s book.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lily is an absolute sweetheart in this book and Maverick is a total cowboy, hottie. At the start of the book they are friends, until a dance and then she takes care of him when he is ill. And feelings develop....
But Lily thinks she is in love with her best friend Ben, though everyone in her family and her friends think he is a huge jerk. Maverick has always seen her as HOT and he is in total lust with her, but she is pretty blind to it because she thinks Ben is her soulmate.
This really does not have a love triangle. The only triangle might be in Lily's head or heart. But Ben is such a jerk that once she opens her eyes, she realizes how awful he really is.
Maverick comes from nowhere and has no one, until he lands at Lily's family's ranch. Timberlyn and Tanner are her parents and Nathan is her 17-year-old brother. They are a very close family, and they all consider Maverick as part of their family.
One of my favorite scenes in romance books are when a woman or man takes care of the hottie they are lusting for when they are ill. I loved so much the scenes where Lily ends up taking care of Maverick and when her mom and dad help her out. Then when he gets better, I loved how hot and bothered he got for Lily.
This was a really fun romance. I really loved Lily and Maverick. They just really fit so well together, that I fell hard for them as a couple. Ben is a huge jerk in this book and honesty I don't understand how Lily who is so awesome stayed friends with him through all the years.
I LOVED the ending to this book and I cannot wait for more in this series. This was such a romantic read with some giggles and lots of sighs as how romantic Maverick is and how he wins Lily's heart.
This book was a fantastic addition to the series and I fell for Maverick. He has been in love with Lily for a long time, ever since he first saw her, but he didn't realize that was what he was feeling. She had a friend that she thought she was in love with, but proved to not be a very nice person and she is the daughter of his boss, so he tried to stay away. While she wasn't in town it was easy enough, but once she moved home it became harder. When they danced at the wedding the sparks between them grew and she started to realize what her friend was really like.
Lily has been in love with her best friend for years and has been hoping that he will admit it. When she dances with Maverick at the wedding she starts to have feelings for him that she wasn't expecting. When he calls in sick, which he has never done before, she goes to check on him and finds him horribly sick. She takes care of him and their bond starts to grow.
I loved this couple and how they grew from friends, to more. She was patient and understanding when he wasn't sure how to express his feelings. He didn't have a good childhood and didn't think he would ever find love. He was supportive and protective when she needed that from him. They flirted, danced and fell together. When he puts his life on the line to protect her family, it showed what a good man he was and I hoped that the regrets they both had would be able to be resolved. My only issue with this book is my wish that he would have talked to a professional about some of the things that haunted him. Lily brought it up, but they never followed through with it.
I have enjoyed every book in this series and highly recommend the book, as well as the rest of the series. I can't wait to see what happens next in this beautiful world Ms. Elliott has created. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.
Kelly Elliott returns readers to the Shaw Ranch and the beautiful state of Montana for Lily's story.
And it's a story about belonging, finding a family and believing you are good enough to be loved.
As horse whisperer and employee Maverick grew up in the system only once finding a family to love him. But before the adoption could be made official his new parents died in a tragic accident and Maverick has been alone ever since.
But now he's found a home on the Shaw Ranch and the entire Shaw family adores him. Especially his boss Tanner who looks upon Maverick as a second son. But Maverick still keeps to himself, afraid that he'll never be good enough to be loved.
Especially by the one woman he adores: Lily Shaw.
Who has just come to the realization that the friend she was crushing on is the a hole her family always said he was and she's now ready for a relationship with a real man. A man who will worship the ground she walks on and Maverick soon proves that's him.
However, Maverick still isn't convinced he's good or right for Lily in the long term.
But with the help of her brother Nathan, dad Tanner and mum Timberlynn and the rest of the Shaw family Lily is about to prove him wrong.
And with plenty of spicy moments, humour, emotion and family feels. This was a fantastic read and addition to the series and I can't wait for Bradly's story which is out in a few months.
I would happily recommend Loved Enough to all.
My thanks to Greys Promo and Kelly Elliott for the opportunity to read an early copy of Loved Enough. 😊

Oh how I love a beautiful and broken hero that finally finds the love he doesn’t think he deserves!
Maverick Prescott is a horse trainer on the Shaw ranch and has been in love with Lily Shaw since the day he first saw her. Lily has always thought she’d end up with her best friend Ben, but lately due to his jealous girlfriend, they’ve been spending less and less time together. Then when he drops the bomb that he’s getting married and going to be a father, she’s not as upset as she thought she’d be and it has a little something to do with the hot horse trainer she can’t stop thinking about.
This story had me by the heartstrings the entire time I was reading and even after lol. Maverick is so very beautifully broken. He’s been alone most of his entire life and feels unworthy of anything, but especially love. Well, buddy you’re mixed up with the wrong family then lol. The Shaw’s have done everything possible to show him he’s not just an employee, but a loved member of their family. Watching his relationship with Lily grow from friends to lovers was nothing short of amazing and endearing. These two bring out the best in each other and it just flowed off the pages. Their chemistry is smoking hot and they share a love to be jealous of.
I always enjoy being back with the rowdy group that are the Shaw’s, and Ms. Elliott always has a way of making you feel like a member of this family. She gives us a sneak peak into Bradly’s book and I can’t wait.
In one word for Loved Enough by Kelly Elliott, HOT. The things this horse whisperer says and the loving he can dish out was just wow. Seeing Maverick fight for Lily in his way, showing her what real love is like is nothing Lily has ever felt. One thing for sure is Maverick is all man and gives Lily exactly what she needs, love and attention, something that idiot Ben could never give her. She might think Maverick is a man of mystery with secrets of his past but he see's everything about Lily. He might be the quiet, hardworking cowboy in the Shaw ranch but here is a guy who deserves so much love. My heart broke about his childhood yet in a way it made him be the man he is now. The friendship and chemistry between these two come easily makes you wonder what took them so long. Kelly Elliott sure knows how to make the sparks fly and boy do these two explode when in the same room. Seeing Lily give everything she got to make Maverick see they belong together and he will never be alone again just gutted me. Loved it and readers will swoon with Maverick and his cowboy charms till the end. Not only is Loved Enough filled with a love you don't see often but seeing everybody again was just magical almost coming full circle total chaos for Maverick and loving it. Cannot wait to see what Bradly will be like in the next Love in Montana series for sure Kelly Elliott has a beautiful, talented and naughty imagination worth getting into.
"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."
“I’ll always choose you. I’ll always love you. I’ll always be yours, Maverick.”
From the moment I turned the last page of Kelly Elliot's latest blockbuster, all I could think about was diving back into the heartwarming and emotionally charged world of Maverick and Lily. "Loved Enough" is a tale that effortlessly captures the essence of love, passion, family and the unbreakable bonds that tie people together.
Maverick, a young man who has known solitude for most of his life, unexpectedly finds himself drawn into the warm embrace of the Shaw family, whose ranch becomes both his sanctuary and a place where he discovers the true meaning of belonging. The heart of the story lies in the enchanting connection between Maverick and Lily, the daughter of his boss, who stole his heart from the moment their paths crossed.
Kelly Elliot masterfully paints a vivid picture of Montana, allowing me to feel the crisp air and see the sprawling landscapes as if I were right there alongside these remarkable characters. Ms Elliott skillfully weaves a heartwarming story that pulls at the heartstrings, making it impossible not to become emotionally invested in the lives of Maverick and Lily.

I loved this book! Maverick is one of my ultimate types of hero. He’s sweet, protective, and a bit broken, and he fell for Lily when he first met her! Maverick’s childhood is sad and tragic and he feels he can’t give anyone his love for fear of losing them. Lily had been best friends with Ben since they were babies and always suspected she would end up marrying him. When Ben tells her his girlfriend is pregnant and they are getting married, Lily is surprised. However, when she analyzes how she feels, she’s not that upset about not being with Ben and since she took care of a sick Maverick, she begins to see a shift in her feelings. She also begins to realize that Ben isn’t who she always thought he was.
I loved that everyone saw how Maverick felt about Lily, even if she didn’t. Not only did they see it, but because of the wonderful man he is, they were hopeful for him. It was heartwarming the way Lily’s parents, Tanner and Timberlynn, made Maverick a part of their family, and how all of the Shaws encouraged Maverick to believe he was theirs (son, brother, nephew) not just Lily’s. I love the Shaws. They are a fantastic family they love out loud and support one another. This is an emotional and beautiful story and my favorite so far in the Love in Montana series. I received an arc of this book from Grey’s Promotions, and this is my honest review.
He saves horses & kittens from a wildfire but sets your panties on fire😜
🐎Small Town Romance 🌶Forced Proximity 💕Friends x Lovers 😍He falls first ✨️She's a swiftie 💔Broken Hero ✨️Dual POV 🍼Surprise Pregnancy
Welcome to another small town romance, yep, i love them all.
Lily Shaw always thought she would end up with her best friend, Ben. They have been besties since they were toddlers. So shes shocked when he plans to get married and have a baby, basically saying, "Hey, they, this woman is my world, and you're not anymore, like what?" His fiancée doesn't want them spending time together. Lily is upset but says F U to Ben, thank god.
She starts spending time with ranch hand and horse whisperer, Maverick, who is hot to trot, get it? Haha. The Shaws consider him family, but his life in foster care and being abandoned makes him tortured and silent with his feelings. Will he let Lily in or stay inside his own head?
Okay, i dont want to spoil anything, but the scenes where they dance together, my heart can't take it, make me giggle and foot pop, you know what i mean. They take care of each other in more ways than they could ever imagine.
Kelly Elliott, once again, captures hearts everywhere with this sweet story. 💕 Thank you for the arc!!

I think this book made me cry more often than any other.
Maverick. I felt so bad. Being abandoned at birth, fostered, nearly adopted, and fostered again until her ran at 16. It's heartbreaking. I was expecting a grumpy cowboy. I was wrong. He was just guarded and needed someone to break those walls down.
Lily instantly reminded me of when I read her mom and dad's book. I can't pinpoint it, maybe her big heart and deep need to find love... her caring nature when Mav was sick reminded me of when Tanner took care of Timberlynn when she twisted her ankle.
Ben. I felt bad for him at first. Having to choose between Lily and his GF. But once he said something about Mav only being a ranch hand... I wanted to slap him. Then to come back after finding out that GF cheated and it wasn't his baby, thinking everything would go back to the way it was.... just NO!
Nathan is a good brother. He knew Ben didn't deserve Lily and I'm betting he also saw how Mav looked at Lily and knew they were supposed to be together.
Tanner and Timberlynn are such good people. They were probably my favorite couple in the Meet Me In Montana Series. I loved how they both kept reminding Mav that he was family. Without fail. After the fire, when Tanner told Mav that they couldn't lose him and was crying, I bawled like a baby. It was a sweet moment.
Great book. I can't wait for Bradly and Mackenzie (Forever Enough).

I am loving this spin off series just as much a I loved the original. I am sure that part of it is that I still get to see the original characters and the beautiful back drop of the huge family farm in Montana. This time Ms Elliott will pull at your heartstrings as she gives us an emotional story of love and acceptance, belonging and family, some sweet heat and chemistry.
After spending most of his life alone, Maverick has just come to beleive he will just be alone forever. He's not willing to put his heart on the line again after loosing the couple who were planning to adopt him all those years ago. But working on the Shaw farm, seeing & feeling the family dynamics and love daily does make a person want what he doesn't think he can have or deserve.
Lily spend a lot of time thinking that her life would follow a certain path, but as the dynamics of her friendship with her best friend start to change and not in the direction she though. She does some soul searching and realizes she was more in love with the idea not so much the reality. Then a few hints of something different has her headed in another direction. She gives her heart quickly but now she has a fight on her hands. Can she knock down all of his walls?
Will Maverick come to realize that he is more than the help and already been enveloped in the family he has watched from the sidelines. He is entitled to a happiness he creates for himself.

I love the Shaw Family!!! I loved them before when i read the Meet Me in Montana series but this series is just adding to that love. Lily is Tanner and Timberlynn's daughter from Good Enough and i love how much we get Tanner in this book. We also get a good dose of Nathan Lily's brother who we have seen a little up to this point but good to see him more in this one. Maverick works on the ranch and he has felt something for Lily since the moment he saw her, Lily has always thought she would end up with Ben her childhood best friend but he is now getting married to someone else and to be honest is a total douche about it all and i would of punched him for how he treated Lily. I loved everything about this story and how they were friends first and how this moved into their relationship. I loved that there was no third act breakup and we got so much of them together and how Maverick dealt with becoming part of the massive Shaw family. I loved it so much will def re-read soon as i am loving these stories and how they add to the original series, not felt like this about a series since Love Wanted in Texas story. Now even more excited about Bradley's story as been waiting for this one as Dirk is my fav and wonder if the apple didn't fall far from the tree!! Kelly your amazing!!!
Lily and Maverick were the couple I didn't know I was waiting for! I assumed from the end of the last book that we were heading in that direction, but their pairing was even better than I could have hoped for. Lily is a Shaw, which means she's stubborn and goes after what she wants. She wrongly thought it was her best friend Ben, who frankly is a boob! But she's also drawn to Maverick, the cowboy "horse whisperer" who has worked with her family for years and has been welcomed into their fold. Maverick is the real deal...a true gentleman (except when he's not, wink, wink!) and hard working, all around nice guy. The entire Shaw and company clan love him, so that says a lot. Their relationship has always been one of friends, but when Lily takes care of Maverick when he's ill, things start to ramp up. Their interactions are so genuine, the chemistry leaps off the page. While there's some minor drama outside their two person bubble, inside it is heat, humor and heart. Honestly, Kelly Elliot can do no wrong in her storylines and characters, as far as I'm concerned. I'll be sad when the last of this generation has their story told. But I'm going to enjoy the Love in Montana series until the end.
Loved Enough is Lily and Maverick's story and is book 5 in the Love in Montana series. We return to the Shaw ranch where Lily is now home from school for good and Maverick is not only their ranch hand, but he's like family.
Maverick has a tragic past and found a home and a family at the Shaw ranch. He also found love but he wasn't sure he was good enough. I absolutely adored the way the Shaw family loved him as their own and showed him what is was like to love and be loved within a family.
Lily thought she was in love with her best friend, Ben, but things had changed between them and she was seeing a side to Ben she didn't really care for. Maverick was there for her and the more time she spent with him, the harder she began to fall.
This friends to lovers story is sure to pull at your heart strings. Kelly Elliott's worlds are always so easy to get lost in. This is a fun and sweet read with some steam too.
“I want your smiles. I want your touch. Your laughter, your sorrow, your fears. I want it all. The good and the bad. I want you. But…I want your heart most of all.”
Kelly Elliot is back with yet another Shaw Family masterpiece.
This one pulled at heart strings and left me oh so fulfilled.
If you love your romances on the back drop of a ranch, yearn for deep feelings with a delectable dash of spice and you love a FMC that's so true and sure of herself. Then this is the book for you.
It's a story of feeling, of acceptance and beyond all else of belonging.
Tanner and Timberlynn's book was my favourite in Kelly's original series to to now explore Lily's story and see how she's become a perfect mix of her parents qualities is truly magical.
Maverick grew up in the system and never really had a place that became home or people he could lean on. This story explores the friendship and attraction between Lily and Maverick. He's heartbreakingly frustrating as it's clear he's never had anyone stick around enough for him to believe his worth someone's time.
This story goes beyond romantic relationships but explores the wider importance of family relations, connection and belonging.
Oh and there's so wonderful heart felt and comedic moments between our new Gen characters and the OG shaws. A real strong ensemble piece
