One night. Two pink lines. Zero idea he’s about to be my uncle.
By day, I’m building a career in marketing. By night, I’m dancing under neon lights and fake names in a Vegas club—where no one owns me, especially not my mother.
It’s a double life that works... until him. A gorgeous stranger. One lap dance. One unforgettable night. And then he vanishes—leaving behind nothing but memories… and a baby.
I rebuild, the best I can. A new life. A new world. Thank God for my ride-or-die best friend—until a family wedding drags me back home and straight into chaos.
Because there he is. My one-night stand. The father of my baby. Sitting beside my mother, grinning like he belongs.
Turns out, he does. She’s marrying his brother
Now I’m stuck in a fake-smile wedding weekend with the one man I can’t stop wanting—and definitely shouldn’t touch.
Enemies to lovers? Kind of. Forbidden? Absolutely. About to get way more complicated? You have no idea.
Sin Wagon is a steamy, emotionally charged romance featuring a forbidden age gap, surprise pregnancy, sizzling tension, and zero actual blood relation—but all the heart, heat, and drama you crave.
Cassie resides in Northern Illinois on a farm with her husband and six kids. When not writing she can be found reading or chauffeuring her kids or showing pigs. Cassie is a huge advocate for foster care and adoption. Enjoys a good horror movie, a dark romance, and alcohol. Lots and lots of alcohol. You did just read she has six kids right?
Narrated by Lottie Rex, I absolutely loved the audio for Sin Wagon. I honestly got so lost in the story of both Delilah and Wells that I forgot it wasn't a dual narration. The story itself was great - a forbidden romance of the best kind. The sass was sassing and the spice was spicing. I absolutely recommend this as a great listen to add to your list.
Another fantastic story by this author. Delilah works from home building her marketing business and strips at night. Derek is her ride & die gay best friend. I enjoyed the camaraderie and banner between her and Derek. Wells met Delilah at her night job and they hit it off. The chemistry between the two was like fireworks going off. Little did they know meeting each other would open whole new can of worms. What could go wrong for these two star cross lovers did. Once it started it had a domino effect until the last page. What a wonderful story!
This was my first book by Cassie Lein and I loved it. I loved everything about this book from the characters, the plot, the plot twist (that I kinda figured out) and the spice.. it was all so good. Delilah is a strong woman that’s living her life. She meets Wells and things happen between them. They had one night then didn’t see or speak to each other again for months until one day and then after a bunch of drama they get their HEA. Another author and book that I recommend. This isn’t a dark romance but there is some things that might trigger some so Mind Your Triggers.
A new bookstagram I follow posted a link that included some 5 pages full of e-books, so buckle up!!! Hahaha.
I enjoyed this storyline. It was a bit out there and several strange coincidences, but overall I enjoyed it and watching the characters develop. Wells was a bit predictable, as was his romance with Delilah but it was just one of those in the moment/ feel good kinds of stories. Loads of family drama… if that is your thing!
Deliliah and Wells are such an amazing couple together. They really are perfect for one another. This was a spicy quick story with lots of amazing banter from all characters. It was nice to see Delilah come into her own and finally get what she deserves out of life.
Derek is now one of my all time fav secondary characters. He needs his own book!
Wow this book was really good! Normally I’m not a huge fan of age gap but this book kept me engaged from the very beginning. Delilah and Wells are so good together and Delilah deserved all the good things that came to her. Such an amazing book.
Oooo the spice in this one 🥵🌶️🙌🏼 & the twists throughout the story about different people and how they all end up intertwined, kept you interested & just wanting/needing to know more!
& then to end it with that birth story💖🥹… Cassie Lein made this book amazing! 🤩
I had the opportunity to read this book as part of an anthology last year and let me tell you, the full story did not disappoint.
I loved Wells and Delilah when we first met them. Delilah is a very strong female character, one who doesn't let the opinion of others stop her from living her life and making her own path, especially the opinion of her mother, who by the way may be one of the nastiest people I have ever read about. Wells is also very interesting character but there were portions of the book where I was not always his biggest fan, especially more towards the middle of the story with the choice he made between his brother, Jonas, and Delilah. While I completely understand the decision and his motivations behind making it, his execution made me angry. There were many things he could have done to avoid hurting Delilah further and while the damage and hurt wasn't permanent, it certainly broke my heart a little bit to see the pain he was putting her in again.
I loved the plot twist with this story. It has been just about a year since I read the anthology piece and while I remember a good portion of it, I don't necessarily remember all of the secrets that come tumbling out during this story but my blood boiled when I read the secret that Delilah's mother, Claudia, had been keeping from her. The fact that her mother knew all along who her father was and that she kept that from her was cruel to begin with but add in the bigger plot twist about who her father is and the relationships she has going at that point in her life and the surprise pregnancy, and my mind was blown. It was nice to see her navigate the new family that she stumbles upon thanks to her mothers admission and see how far she is willing to go to give Little Boba the family that she so desperately wanted herself as a child.
The chemistry between Wells and Delilah was also really fun to read and added the perfect level of spice to the story without being completely over the top and pushing this story into straight smut without plot (which nothing wrong with that- sometimes you just need all the smut, no plot). From the beginning they had this instant connection that wasn't built just on their physical attraction to each other and I really enjoyed watching as they found each other again, reconnected and continued to learn about each about each other. The fact that they found aspects about the other attractive that weren't based on looks was refreshing to read and I think really helped solidify their bond. It was great to see them develop a foundation all while navigating a new life that neither were prepared for at that time.
This was a great conclusion to the tease we got last year and I would be curious to see more from the Covington family, especially if we get a happy ending for Jonas who certainly deserves one after his train wreck of a relationship in this story.
I have read many books of Cassie's and have loved each and every one but I have to say there was just something about this one that I love the most.
Delilah is a stripper in Vegas. She does this while working on her marketing career. When she gets done dancing on her shift, she gets a request for a private dance.
Wells is in Vegas just checking things out because he also has his own clubs in different places. When he's at Hidden Gems, he sees this woman dancing and has an instant reaction to her. He doesn't usually react like this and he's around a lot if strippers in his line of business, so he requests a private dance.
There's definite attraction between the two even though there's an age difference and after talking and having a drink together, one thing leads to another but after Wells gets an important call and has to leave but makes sure to get her number. Unfortunately, he never got her real name so after texting and not hearing back he's clueless on what to do.
Delilah had a pretty bad upbringing with a mom that is like a mean girl and never has anything nice to say. When her mom says she's getting married, Delilah is irritated about having to go but does. Delilah is also irritated she hasn't heard from the guy she felt she had a connection too. So much more happens in this book and do not want to spoul anything. Just read it because lots of twists and turns. Also parts made me emotional too. Such an amazing book and would love one on Derek, Delilah's BFF.
Cassie Lein has done it again, I just loved this story and was invested from the start, and I love a good age-gap story.
Delilah does what she needs to survive and make a living, with trying to get her marketing business off the ground she has no choice but make sure she can pay her bills and does this by stripping. Her mother is no help at all a woman that all she done was bring life to Delilah, too self-centred in her appearances and having the right life style to worry about her daughter. An interaction with a stranger gives Delilah a night she won’t forget in more ways than one.... a pregnancy and no way to contact Wells, the man she had a connection with. He said he’d call but he never did.
Delilah was a woman that Wells can’t get out of his head, and he has tried to contacting her to no avail. He even went back to the club to be told she no longer worked there and now he has no way of contacting her.
Then Delilah gets the call to be told her mother is marrying and she is to be there as her bridesmaid. At a pre-wedding dinner, Delilah gets a surprise, not only does she see Wells again but she always finds out who her father is.
Can Delilah get over this shock, and can she and Wells reconnect for the sake of her baby and what about the new family members that Delilah now has in her life.
Oh my goodness, this story has so much more than I have said but I don’t want to spoil anything, it is so good. If you love drama, a b@tch of a mother that you just want to slap, age-gap with all the feels and spice then jump in.
Sin Wagon by Cassie Lein 📚 Sinner’s Delight #1 💘 Age Gap Romance | Cinnamon Roll Hero | Surprise Pregnancy
So what do you get when man meets stripper? Apparently, a quick alley tryst, a surprise pregnancy, and a whirlwind of confusion.
Let me start by saying this: I love taboo romance. I practically eat it with my Wheaties. But Sin Wagon didn’t quite land for me the way I hoped. The concept was there—a sunshiney, cinnamon roll older hero meets a young stripper, and sparks fly. But the execution felt awkward. The writing style read more like a creative writing school project than a polished romance.
While I didn’t DNF (I never do—compulsion or curse, who knows), I definitely wanted to a few times. I kept hoping the ending would redeem the beginning. Sadly, it didn’t.
The Characters:
Opal had potential but ended up feeling like a wet blanket. Her voice never quite found its strength.
Wells was supposed to be the older man, but honestly, he didn’t read older. If the author hadn’t told us, I would’ve thought they were the same age. The age gap element felt told rather than shown.
Also, there were a few POV switches mid-paragraph that completely threw me off. That kind of head-hopping makes it hard to stay immersed.
It wasn’t bad… just really hard to get through. I genuinely wanted to love this one. Maybe the next in the series will find its rhythm better. For now, I’m giving this one 2.5 skulls on my blog, Marked & Morbid.

Sin Wagon is my first book by Cassie Lein, and I have to say it did not disappoint.
Opal, or Delilah as that's her government name, is a stripper at Hidden Gems. A beautiful older gentleman by the name of Wells who is on a business trip, is taken aback by her beauty and asks for a private dance from her. Delilah and Wells hit it off wonderfully. They have had a few drinks and shared great conversation. They end up having sex in the alleyway. When their time is cut short due to a business related phone call, they go their separate ways, but not before Delilah gives this man her phone number.
Fast forwards a few months and Wells is no where to be found, and Delilah is pregnant. Not only that but her narcissistic mother, Claudia, is getting married on a whim on location in Florida. Claudia tells Delilah she can bring her baby daddy if she can locate him or her more than charming, hilarious gay bestie Derek (she chooses the bestie).
A lot of secrets come to light at the rehearsal dinner, like finding out her mother's fiancée is actually Delilah's father that Claudia said left when she was a baby, and that her baby daddy who is sitting in front of her at the wedding rehearsal dinner is actually her step uncle.
This book had me in a complete chokehold from page one. There's so much drama. There's so much spice. I ate this one up.

Cassie Lein is an outstanding author so I knew I was going to love this no matter what, but man, I was surprised by just how much I seriously loved this book! When I read the blurb, I expected a quick fun read. I mean strippers, Vegas, one night stands? What else was I supposed to think? But I was SO wrong!
Delilah and Wells were a spectacular couple with amazing instant chemistry that hit it off right away! I loved how strong and fierce Delilah was. I also loved how Wells fell so fast and hard for Delilah. He was totally obsessed!! Their dialogue and witty back and forth was fantastic!!
The supporting characters were extraordinary in this book! Delilah’s best friend was the tits!!! And Delilah’s mom was the pits! Both were very essential to the story though!
The emotion in this story was on point! Between the initial missed connection, what Delilah’s mom puts he through & the whole baby situation, there is just so much emotionally charged storyline! It’s a roller coaster of emotions!
Overall, another sensational story from Cassie Lein! Not that I ever expected anything less! You should definitely read this if you haven’t! As for me, I’ll be waiting for the next great Cassie read!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wells doesn’t have time for anyone in his life and doesn’t want anyone in his life right now.
Delilah is a dancer who might have some daddy issues. She loves what she does but her neurotic mother thinks her line of work is just vile.
Wells instantly sees his little Doe and wants nothing more than a private dance, he’s already hooked on her vibe and needs her . One thing leads to another and Delilah is putting her number in his phone before he leaves town. Wells is going to look her up again because she is more than a one night stand.
Months go by and Delilah realizes that she was a one night stand, and now she has some big news. Her mom is suddenly getting married and who is this mystery man? Delilah wants no part of her greedy mothers wedding but she feels compelled to go.
Save the spoilers because you are not going to believe what happens. I for sure was not expecting the turn of events.
This is a quick read and I highly recommend this story from the anthology!
Please make sure your kindle/book is secure before you get to the ending. It could fly or fall.
This is my second book by Cassie, which also happens to be a taboo age-gap situation, ( my first was My Soul For Sale), which isn't my typical read, but I like Cassie's writing and characters, and this one totally took me by surprise.
I usually tend to stay away from books where pregnancy is the main plot, (I love it when it's part of the story, but not the primary focus) but with that being said, I felt this story was done really well. I also really LOVED one particular character (Derek) and kept waving my shipping flag, even though I knew they were'nt the main couple and Cassie made it clear they wouldn't be together, but a girl can dream right? I need a bestie like Derek, stat!
The ending was GRIPPING, but I will say if you do have pregnancy or birth triggers, you might want to skip the ending, though it all turns out okay, there are some shaky moments that really do pull at your hearststrings.
Overall, this book is a RIDE. Just when you think you KNOW what's going to happen, you are sideswiped and surprised.
If you love your taboo romance with a dose of depth, sweetness, and a whole lot of spice and some very emotional moments, this one is for you!
Sin Wagon is a contemporary romance that is written by Cassie Lein.
💜 intelligent FMC 💜 age gap 💜 found family 💜 tough decisions 💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spice
Delilah loves working as a stripper at the Hidden Gem. Her stage name, Opal, protects her from potential creeps. One night after she gets off stage, she’s told that she has a silver fox waiting for her for a private dance. She’s not expecting that silver fox to be truest handsome. When she’s done, they end up talking and hanging out. One thing leads to another and she gives him her phone number. Will they reconnect? Or will it just be a fun one night stand?
This was a fun age gap romance. I liked how Delilah was very intelligent and was dancing because she wanted to and it brought in a little extra income. Derek, her best friend, is hilarious and someone I would love to be best friends with too. There is so much that happens within this story and it does tackle some hard issues that can happen in real life. It’s so refreshing to see a romance story have these kind of bumps that may be hard to read but are very real issues that can happen. I enjoyed this story so much.
Another great read from Cassie to add to the collection. Whilst I really connect with her writing style I felt this read was much more relatable and enjoyable being read as someone who is also pregnant like Delilah - I just wish I was also as cool as her! Immediate hat off and kudos to Cassie for writing a realistic pregnancy book.
If, like me, you got a glimpse at Delilah and Wells from the previous anthology then you will have equally been eagerly waiting to find out their full story and safe to say it didn't disappoint. This was a really fun age gap love story with some, ahem, family issues that made the title of the book even more appropriate.
I adored Wells and Delilah, although they were both pretty silly in the circumstances that led them to being out of contact for some time. I was rooting for them the whole way through and also thoroughly enjoyed Derek who everyone needs in their life.
All in all, this was a great read and exactly what you need to escape in to an alternate world where you can root for the heros, boo at the villans, enjoy some alone time at the spice and also shed a tear or two along the way for both good and bad reasons! highly recommend.
Cassie is an amazing writer. I love all of her books and this was no different. This one is about Delilah. She was living in Vegas dancing at an adult club. She met Wells one night. He was in town for business. They ended up talking for hours at the bar when she was done with work. They hit it off so much so that they ended up getting together that night. He wanted to continue their night but he got a call from his brother that he needed to take. He had to leave but he asked for her Number and she gave it to him. He texted her as soon as she got back to the hotel and she never responded. He tried multiple times and would even go back to the club in Vegas to find her but she didn’t work there anymore. She ended up moving in with Derek her best friend. She didn’t have a good relationship with Claudia (her mother). One day her mother called her and told her she was getting married and she expected her to be there. She reluctantly went to it. She had the shock of a lifetime that night. This was so good. Definitely worth the read.
I've been waiting for this one omgg😭 since I read the first couple of chapters in an anthology I've been obsessed with Wells and Delilah. From the beginning they had really good chemistry and got along perfectly.
Even when they had lost touch for a minute they never stopped thinking about one another. It was like the minute they met they knew they would have something good and special together. I think my favorite thing about Wells how was how obsessed and in love this man was. My favorite thing about Delilah was that she was never scared to stand up for herself or speak her mind. If she had something to say she was not afraid to say it.
There was a little bit of drama in this book that kept me entertained. Some of the drama was unexpected but everything got resolved at the end. There was a strong family connection in this book which I adored. They welcomed Delilah with open arms and showed her the love she deserves. Also her bff Derek was amazing through the entire book. He was supportive of her and will drop anything to help her with anything. We all need a friend like him!
Sin Wagon ( Sinners Delight Book 1 ) One night stand and Age Gap !!! Cassie has taken two of my absolute favorite tropes and entwined them in the most wonderfully written and emotionally change love story . I’ve been on quite the Dark Romance Binge lately and desperately needed a change . Something that would put a smile on my face , make me laugh and even cry at times . A fun and steamy journey . Well Sin Wagon did that and so much more . What starts off as a passionate one night stand in Vegas very quickly turns into so much more then Wells and Delilah ever saw coming . The Angst , the humor , the witty banter , the drama , the unexpected surprises, the love , the passion, the family and friendships, the secrets , Sin Wagon has it all . I just adored Wells and Delilah more than words can even express, not sure what jt was exactly but from the moment I met them I just felt such a strong pull to both and bam just like that they had my heart completely. Sin Wagon is without a doubt a must read for anyone who is a lover of A AGE GAP and ONE NIGHT STAND ROMANCE !!!
After reading the first few chapters last year as part of an anthology, I was intrigued to see how Delilah and Wells' story was going to continue and it was worth the wait. I really liked how strong willed Delilah was; I particularly loved her speech to Jonas and how she was not willing to compromise on doing what she needed to and what was best for Boba. Wells broke my heart with how desperate he was to do the right thing after having an absent father himself but still gave Delilah the independence she needed without smothering her. Claudia is an absolute piece of work and such a narcissist; she is definitely a character you will love to hate. Derek however almost stole the show from Wells and I'd love to read his story!
My interpretation of the star system; 3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again 4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series 5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
This book is around Delilah and wells. Delilah is such a strong willed, but sometimes stubborn women and makes extra money as a stripper. Wells is in Vegas on business and goes to a strip club and this is where they meet. After a quickie in a back alley,Wells gets a phone call but asks for her number, where she accidentally puts in a digit wrong. Wells is straight away smitten by her and texts her but get no reply so thinks she's ignoring him, whereas Delilah thinks he just hasn't wanted to reach out. Omg when they meet up back up,it's a shock to both of them... I did want to smack Wells around the back of the head when he didn't reach out again, but once he realised what he could lose,he really stepped up and made sure she knew he was there for both her and the baby.. My heart did break with regards to what they went through with little boba.. I love every book that cassie has wrote and this was no exception
Honestly this was such a fun and spicy little novella. We have Delilah who is a dancer at the club and Wells who decides he definitely needs a dance from her and then some more. Oh and he also thinks her name is legit Opal which is just her stage name 😂 The one time they get together definitely wasn’t enough and became more than they definitely could bargain for even though one of them doesn’t know that. There’s so much drama with Delilah’s mom in her life and ultimately it leads to the biggest plot twist ever. The story literally just draws you in and makes you not put it down. Which I didn’t by the way LOL. But it left on the ultimate cliffhanger which is hopefully going to lead into a much longer version or better yet a series? A girl can wish right 😂
Casssssssssssie! WHAT IS YOU DOING TO ME. I mean this in the best way LOL. I love reading Cassie's stories because of all the real-life situations that people can relate to. Also, the emotions that you feel coming off the pages from the characters and what they go through, so good. Delilah is a great FMC that you want to root for and cheer for all the things she's going through to come out with a HEA. Her best friend is a HOOT, and he's awesome I can't wait to see if Cassie does a story for him. And Wells our MMC, MAN if I could *swoon* for anyone it would definitely be this man. We definitely have some trials to get through with this entire book but the HEA that they get is well worth the fight, and I loved seeing things come full circle for them. Can't wait for more!
Loved it! Cassie hits the mark again! Deliah is just starting out in marketing and in order to make ends meet she works at a strip club at night. Wells comes in one night to the club and meets Deliah and instantly is attracted. They chemistry between these 2 was off the charts! Wells gets Deliah's number when he leaves and both are seeing stars and dreaming of whats to come. Things don't end up being that simple and their lives are more intertwined they could have EVER IMAGINED! You will not believe how! Love a little taboo romance! Deliah's mother is a piece of work and I can't believe all the lies on her part! Will Deliah and Wells get together officially or are their too many complications and crazy happenstance to keep them apart?
This is Book 1 in the Sinner’s Delight series and is another great read by this author. This is an age gap romance that will bring all the emotions.
This is the story of Delilah, a stripper by night, and Wells, a club owner checking out the scene. Their road to HEA includes overcoming their age difference, misunderstanding on names and phone numbers, and a secret pregnancy.
This author writes steamy smexy times and develops characters you will remember. Delilah is a strong FMC that you can easily identify with, and Wells is the silver fox you dream about.
Their story has twists, turns and a chemistry that will melt your Kindle. If you love a good age gap romance with strong characters, this is a book you need to check out.
Sin Wagon is a bold, spicy romance that leans into some taboo themes while still delivering emotional depth and strong character chemistry. The characters and tone strike a nice balance between warmth and heat, making it an enjoyable listen throughout.
Lottie Rex’s narration is a standout. Her confident delivery and emotional control carry both the explicit scenes and the more vulnerable moments with skill, keeping the performance grounded and engaging throughout. She handles challenging material with professionalism and consistency, which makes the listening experience feel immersive and polished.
Recommended for romance listeners who enjoy high-heat stories with taboo elements and strong narration.
What an amazing book! I power through it in one sitting, and just couldn’t put it down. I loved Delilah and Wells relationship, they had the most amazing chemistry. Wells had me irritated at him a few times, but I redeemed himself, and well beyond 🥹
I loved the “surprise family” in this one. It had me tear up quite a few times. This book has it all. ✨Age gap ✨Taboo relationship ✨pregnancy ✨Found family
I loved the representation of some of the hardships that so many new parents experience at childbirth. And I am so happy with the ending and epilogue. Loved this book, and I highly recommend it 💜
Wells and Delilah have quite the story. What starts out as not your typical one night stand turns into nothing. Well not that either of them really wanted the nothing, but that's what happens when you're under the influence and flub your phone number. Then surprise after surprise after surprise rocks both of their worlds. Derek is the best friend that everyone needs, truly. He is one of the most selfless, genuine characters. I absolutely loved the connection that Derek and Delilah shared. He really stepped up and showed up for her. This story, while fiction, has a lot of relatable real life scenarios interwoven. Such a great read!
Very realistic scenarios in this book. Read the triggers.
I'm going to say this was a little emotional at the end for me, as I can relate to the NICU experience. My newborn was in there for a week because he'd stopped breathing. I had the same anxiety, inadequacy, and feelings of helplessness as our fmc, the same nursing issues, and I can't even describe the relief when he could come home. Cassie has blended this scenario into a romance novel perfectly, and I applaud her for that because you rarely see authors tackle the scary, realistic parts of childbirth. And her mother- hilarious comeuppance. Loved it. In fact, I can't say there was anything that didn't keep me entertained in this story. High five, Cassie, for another fantastic story!
