*Counting on Evangeline Anderson to save me from my imminent reading slump*
Verdict: She succeeded.
Oh damn, I didn't realize this was my 100th book of the year!
This was 2 couples in one. I was more interested in Davrik and Sonya and found their story more interesting, so whenever their story was interrupted to go to Lan'ara and Nate's, I was initially a little annoyed. That's always a pitfall with a dual romance when both are equally part of the story; one may prefer one couple to the other.
Also, the lack of commas between "but" started to annoy me. I can understand her not wanting to pay for a proofreader because it would probably be $1,000 or less a book and with the number of books she writes, that would really add up, but she should at least know you should add a comma before "but" when it joins two independent clauses.
Despite saying that, I still enjoyed this book; it was a good read. I'm honestly surprised Rescued wasn't the name of one of her previous Kindred books, lol.

Readers get to go back into the multiverse with the female Kindred in Rescued: Brides of the Kindred, Book 30. This was an action-packed story with two different Kindred searching for the one the Goddess put aside for them. Their stories intersect at pivotal moments in the plot.
Davrik is a male giant/blood Kindred and Lan’ara is a female empath Kindred, both in search of their human mates. Davrik and Lan’ara each are protective and selfless in the pursuit of their individual mates, Sonya and Nate. Sonya and Nate, as humans, are a little wary at first, but they both rally to show incredible courage and love towards their mates Davrik and Lan’ara, respectively.
I absolutely love the sci-fi aspects in the Kindred series. Rescued has some interesting and creative details in the multiverse world-building. The story has a little of everything: romance, D/s, action, sci-fi, and horror. Evangeline Anderson achieves a HEA for both couples after putting them through hell.
Rescued is a great story with strong characters. Both relationships are complete by the end of the story, no cliff-hangers. However, as a reader, I would like to know if there are any ripple effects from the characters traveling back and forth between universes. Also, what will become of the alternate Earth, its people, and those that have previously been sold off as slaves?

Captivated? Rescued!
Rescued, the 30th Brides of the Kindred by Evangeline Anderson, is very different from the 29 novels before it. Instead of having one plot, it has two! Instead of taking place in one universe, its setting is in two! You will find four main characters, each set faced with impossible situations, whose stories intertwine, break apart, and come back together at the end. Although the two couples are completely independent, their success or failure depends on them working together.
Having two plot lines leads to actions going on constantly. Each chapter is told from the point of view of one of the four: Davrik, Sonya, Nate, or Lan’ara. But Ms. Anderson never lets her readers get confused. Although the plot lines have to be center stage, underneath and around the actions are her famous steamy scenes and the angst of each character. Nothing in any of the expected characteristics is lost.
I did enjoy reading about these two sets of characters and had a good chuckle as I recognized the male/female counterparts of each member of the supporting cast from each universe. But even if you haven’t read any of the other novels in the BofK, you’ll still be captivated by Rescued.

Just...wow!
This book gives double the pain , fear, evil , love, lust, hotness, and double the satisfaction!
The couples went through so much to get to be together and it can be felt while you read this book.
There are two separate stories that intertwine at a most crucial point!
The emotional rollercoaster that this author took me on was fantastic!
Once I started, I had a hard time putting this book down.
As usual, Ms. Anderson tells a gripping, emotionally packed , fantastic story.
So much happens that needs to be experienced first hand by the reader.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a great double story that includes romance, danger, disgusting characters, revenge, hot scenes , alternate universes and love so strong you can defeat the worst scourge in the universe!

I quite enjoyed that we had 2 couples in this story, they blended well. Separate stories but coming together a couple of times.
Our first couple involved our Kindred crossing Universes to find his soul mate, she died in his Universe and he couldn't go on without her. His mission was full of danger as she wasn't on Earth anymore. Our other couple, she was the alien and he former military taken after Earth was destroyed. Both couples came together at the end to complete a mission.
So much danger and action...not to mention romance going on in this story. I loved it.

Wow this was very different from what we were use to but I was so here for it. I enjoyed reading about these two set of characters and the journey they took us on to reach there HEA. It was twice the pain, fear, intrigue, and double the satisfaction. So thank you for this amazing concept. I would definitely enjoy seeing more two in one couples stories in the future. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are completely my own.

Fantastic Book!
Two kindred warriors, one female and one male. Each from a different universe, but looking for a human mate. The male lost his mate to a shuttle crash, but has found her still alive in another universe. The female has been dream sharing of her human mate who is being held captive by the Scrouge. You will have to read the book to find out what everyone has to go through to hopefully find a happy ending. Many trials and tribulations. Near miss deaths and maybe some killing.

Wow wow wow, I loved this book and how the heroines are Traveling space and time to find their list lived and get redemption. I love how Davrik offers salvation and love to Sonya and Lan'ara saves Nate from himself and destroying his life due to his PTSD. It just goes to show that love conquers all. And how good triumphs over evil. I love how these books allow you to escape reality for a while. Definitely recommend this author.

This was a great installment in the Brides of the Kindred series. We actually get two stories in one!!! They are tied together neatly, and it makes for a great story to continue the series. Both of these storylines were sexy, romantic and satisfying and of course have happy ever afters. I really enjoyed this book and would love to see more two in one stories tied together in the future for a change up in the storylines. Loved it!

Love that we get a two for one love story. This one brings us back to a universe where the kindred are mostly females and the Scourge have almost destroyed all of the Earth. We will follow two couples as the each have their own dangerous missions. But saving the other half of your soul means you will do anything and go anywhere to save and protect them. The two couples’ stories will cross over a few times. I do love that the hero isn’t always a male or a kindred in this story.

I love it when an author dials it up and brings us more. Not only do we have 2 couples’ love stories but their stories are intertwined! More passion, more exotic locations. We finally get a female Kindred and huMAN in Lan’ara and Nate’s story! Davrik is a Kindred who travels to an alternate universe to find another opportunity w/ the wife he loved but lost. This story has some light d/s, big/little, and a wounded warrior who battles his PTSD. So much to enjoy!

Rescued
What would happen if we all got a second chance at love with the one person who was your other half? Would you go to the ends of the earth, or in this case, another universe? This book shows us what true love will cause you to do even when death is a possibility. I loved this story a lot.

Excellent!!
Two stories in one. This was such a great idea. I loved this book and the new characters. I loved how you mirrored the males and females and how you brought the AllFathers daughter into it. This whole book was cleverly done and I highly recommend this series to everyone.

This book is the mix of two side stories from a previous book (which I haven't read yet) and I liked Devrik and Sonya's story but Nate and Lanara was not as compelling. I did really like the ending so that pushed it back up from a 3.5 to a 4 for me. Not my favorite Kindred novel, but an interesting idea at least.

Two by two
Sometimes dual timelines have either too little detail/development or too much back and forth, but these two tales were perfectly entwined and made for an enjoyable book. Anderson's happy endings give you all the warm, fuzzy glow inside.

This was a of one her best books I've read so far. There are two separate stories that intertwine together and was very well written. This book is a ride of emotions in a good way and the end of the book made me tear up a little.

I am enjoying reading 📚about how 👧girls Lanara and Sonya are going their both experiences together. actually I ❤ it. I like names of the kindered in book very much. I would like to read two books 📚in one book again by Evangeline Anderson again soon.😀 I liked the tile too. I like the long book with lots of pages on them.

Not sure about being a replacement love interest to someone🧏♀️🤷♀️. Not to mention, so much going on between to storyline and then, adding 2 more possible couples towards the end as well.

Davrick and sonya were the couple that hold my attention and my favourite. Loved their journey till the end. The other sadly was boring to me.
