No one leaves the Bearclaw Bed and Breakfast without a mate. No one can make reservations, though. They have to be invited by Franklin, the owner, who whose kindness is overshadowed by sadness.
Saint
I grew up in a strict community, that’s what they called it. Now that I was older and free from their leashes, I knew the right word was cult. Still, it’s hard to get the teachings out of my head and even worse, not to live by their purity standards and ridiculous gender roles. My fathers’ words echo in my head, even as I sleep. I tried to date a few times, mostly online. No one wanted anything to do with my cleanliness quirks or my neatness needs. I was too innocent for them. Too sweet. I had learned some things about life, but still was naïve when it came to the world and how things worked, especially with relationships. All I wanted was an alpha to accept me for me and keep his word. Someone with patience. Was that too much to ask? I’m fed up with my job and needing a vacation when a letter arrives in my mailbox, complete with a wax seal. Somehow I’d won a week’s vacation, all expenses included, at the Bearclaw Bed and Breakfast. I’d never heard of the place, but I didn’t care. I needed the time away.
Memphis
I want an omega, but I’m not looking for one ever again. The one I had cheated on me, verbally abused me and left me in a financial pit. My bear longed for an omega to take care of, to love and to accept my protection but no way I was putting myself out there by dating again. A family is what I craved. Someone to partner with. Another shifter to run with and have a future with. So, I pour myself into my work as a lawyer, working and billing for at least eighty hours a week. But when a free week’s vacation letter comes in the mail, I’m curious and skeptical all at once. The place checks out but nothing is free. When I get there, only one other person is staying at the inn. He’s drop-dead gorgeous but I know if I get involved, I’m only signing up for heartbreak.
Hesitant Alpha is the first book in the Omegas Inn Love Series. It is a sweet with knotty heat MM shifter mpreg romance featuring an alpha bear shifter who is ready to put the past behind him, an omega wolf shifter who longs for someone who will love him as he is, the magic of Franklin and his Bearclaw Inn and a guaranteed HEA. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone. If you like your alphas hawt, your omegas strong, and your mpreg with heart, download your copy today.
Lorelei M. Hart is the cowriting team of USA Today Bestselling Authors Kate Richards and Ever Coming. Friends for years, the duo decided to come together and write one of their favorite guilty pleasures: Mpreg.
Once again, I'm not trying to be a horny bitch, I PROMISE. But what was that? Their mating scene was set up to be so dang beautiful. Saint losing his virginity next to the lake after their first run together.. it was so bad! Where was the passion and love? it was a paragraph and completely brushed over. To me, bonding/mating in Mpreg is super important. How did Mephis know Saint wanted his bite in the first place? They didn't even talk about it! Dude just started playing with his doodle, then Bam, it's over, and Saints leaving him 😂😭
Franklin and the fireflies at their ceremony were my favorite part.
After a sheltered upbringing in a cult-like community, Omega wolf shifter Saint struggles to fit into the workplace and to find the right kind of alpha to understand and care for him. Alpha bear shifter Memphis works excessive hours as a prosecutor to deal with the repercussions of a relationship-gone-wrong. They both receive unusual letters inviting them to an all-expenses paid week at Foxtail Inn where they meet one another and the widowed inn owner, Franklin. Saint and Alpha may not be looking for a relationship, but Franklin works his special magic to guide the two together, or at least get them on the path together which may have a few bumps as they journey to their HEA. So nice to have Memphis stand up to Saint’s bullies – just wish there would have been a comeuppance for Carl, at least letting him see what he’s missed out on. I’m still wondering how Franklin even knew about Memphis and Saint – maybe we’ll get some of how Franklin finds out about shifters in need of a little help as the series goes forward. Lovely MM shifter fated mates romance with a side of hot, lots of feels, some little surprises, and sweet love story.
Saint is a super sweet, yet naive omega that has been raised within a cult-like environment. This has caused him to have very little knowledge of anything outside the boundaries of the pack until he breaks free to live on his own at 18. Memphis is a successful, yet stressed, prosecutor that has been used by the one he thought was his forever omega. Now, they have an opportunity to meet thanks to Franklin and the Foxtail Inn. Franklin is so sweet and carrying on what he and his Omega started. He also reminds me of another matchmaker of another series LOL. Anyway, I enjoyed how these two worked out the things that were holding them back, insecurity and trust. The patience shown by Memphis to wait as Saint gains more confidence in himself and their bond, is great to read. I also enjoyed reading Saint gain that confidence and overcome the past. A fun and sweet read to kick off what promises to be a great new series.

I really liked this book, it is most definitely an Insta love story and while short, still manages to add the hurt/comfort which is always my favorite part. The reason my rating is a bit lower is because it jumped really fast from Memphis not wanting an omega and Saint being a virgin to them running in their animal forms and then shifting and having very fast sex with no prep work and then falling asleep. Now, I don’t really care to much for sex scenes, however I do care if they are at least written well if they are include and this whole scene lasted all of two pages and I can’t image that if this had happened in real life that it lasted for more than 5 maybe 10 minutes. I know Saint’s an omega but even an omega needs prep especially a virgin. The 2nd and only other sex scene was also only about 2 pages but at least there was prep and even though it was just as short it didn’t feel nearly as rushed as their first time together. Their first time just felt so very unemotional and more about lust that just didn’t match either of the characters personalities at all which is what really bothered me the most about it.
A tiny detail that doesn’t effect my rating but is more of a “just mentioning” to let readers know in case it causes some confusion, Saint’s bad ex is named Shawn and then later he has a nice coworker who is also named Shawn and they are both clearly different people. I’m not sure why they were both given the same name.
I loved Franklin, I do wish there had been more on what happened to his late mate and hopefully it will come up in a future book because I would really like to know, especially with how soon he lost him.
The birth scene had an unexpected surprise which I thought was really funny.
Overall, I still really liked the story, just could have benefited from being just a tad longer.

Major spoiler warning below this point. Don’t continue if you want to be surprised. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * For the birth it turns out he was carrying twins. When he was birthing the 2nd baby, it seemed like it was going to be a girl as they kept saying she, for example, “her brother” and things like that, then the baby comes and they give it a boy’s name and all of a sudden it’s a boy. It doesn’t really matter in regards to my rating but I do think that since he didn’t seem to have any feelings about the 2nd like he had the 1st born where he was sure it was going to be a boy, the 2nd should have just been “the baby” or “their brother” instead of adding she or he until the baby was actually born.

"I swear on my life. It’s you and me forever, Saint. I would protect you from those people. I would shelter you if I could. I would be your safe place. And you would be mine.”
I loved this book. Good world building. Before going into this book, I was drawn to Saint, who grew up in a cult and was now free of them, but didn't fit in anywhere with others who made fun of and ridiculed him for his naivety. But in reading the story, I found my heart more drawn toward Memphis, an alpha lawyer who was betrayed and taken advantage of by his omega lover who stole from his accounts, leaving him practically broke, in debt, and costing him his condo and car. He wanted love in his life, but would never trust and allow himself to be hurt like that again. Each receiving a fancy-looking letter that they'd won a free all expenses-paid vacation at a bed and breakfast seemed too good to be true- one that had a reputation for matching people with their fated mates...
I loved both Memphis and Saint. I thought they were really sweet together and made the perfect match. I enjoyed how they met and the draw between them. I also loved Franklin. I know this new series will become a favorite of mine! 5 stars.
The Bearclaw Bed and Breakfast has a great reputation for matching alphas and omegas. You can't make a reservation for the B&B but fortunate shifters can get weekend invitations. The newest lucky pair are Memphis and Saint. Memphis is an alpha bear shifter and a lawyer. His last omega cheated on him, abused him and ran up huge bills in his name. Memphis has worked hard the last few years to pay off his debts. He is uncomfortable with of starting a new relationship. Saint is an omega wolf shifter who grew up in a cult. He was raised with very conservative ideas about purity and omega roles. He feels out of place and too naive for those around him. When he meets Memphis, he finally feels like he found someone who could care for him. However he feels scared of messing it all up because it is too good to be true.

This is the first book in the Omegas Inn Love series and it starts the series off on a high note. This is the story of Saint and Memphis. Saint is an omega wolf shifter who spent his childhood in a cult like environment. At 18 he heads out to build a new life for himself. He is very naive and wants someone to love him just as he is. Memphis is a lawyer and alpha bear shifter. He is bitter after being betrayed by the person who he thought was his forever omega. This is their story. The two are brought together through the mysterious inn keeper Franklin. I loved how patient Memphis is in building the trust between them. This is a sweet start to this new series. I am looking forward to future books.

What an adorable story! This is just the mood lifter I needed after several stressful weeks of work. I deliberately chose a book by Lorelei M Hart because I knew she'd tap into my feelings in just the right way. And boy did she ever! Two shifters had both experienced horrible relationships and thus had no desire to search for a mate or even another relationship.
Then came the letters sealed with wax offering a much-needed vacation in a beautiful serene Bed and Breakfast. Relaxation - yes. Mate - NO! But the Alpha and Omega that were determined not to admit to or give into an undeniable mutual attraction loved the hospitality, ambience, and the bed and breakfast owner. Still the super romantic setting kindled an unquenchable thirst for love and affection for each man. If you are looking for a happily ever after get this book - you're sure to find it.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story about Saint and Memphis, who are two shifters who have been unlucky in love before. When they are sent invitations for a weekend away, they go suspecting. Nothing unusual to happen. When Saint and Memphis meet each other, they recognise that they are fated mates. . Saint is very unsure of himself and feels that Memphis will change his mind after awhile and then disappears home. Memphis prove some self by texting and calling him often until eventually they move in together and just in time when Saint discovers that he is pregnant. This is a beautiful story that has a very happy ending.

Saint left his pack when things got really bad and was naive about the way people were. Memphis was a state prosecutor and his omega left him with a lot of bills but was finally able to see that it was getting better money wise. Saint loved being a postman that delivered mail and got an exclusive invitation to Foxtail Inn. Memphis also got an invitation too it was said the owner match mates. They went for a run and had a great time but Saint ran away they finally started texting then did video chat on Fridays. Then Saint wanted more so Memphis quit his job and moved to be with Saint. Good book!.

Eh, this book was just alright. More of like a rough draft for me. It was weirdly paced and details that didn’t make sense thrown in. Example: Fair was for 5 but Saint was still full from breakfast? Plus I felt like there was more detail of the Alpha and his ex then there was on him and his mate, which he changed his tune real quick on that. Same with Saint, I feel like more was written about his past and his Apple hobby then his interactions with his mate. And the interactions they did have lacked depth. More like a 2 star for me but it was a quick easy read so went with the 3.
This book is just what you'd expect from Lorelei M Hart. That is to say...Amazing! You know that no matter the glitches, the end result will be HEA, probably with an adorable baby thrown in. Franklin is something more than just a fox B&B proprietor matchmaker. Come. Join Memphis and Saint as they succumb to his magic. I know I was enchanted from the first pages. Totally invested in their lives. I found myself cheering them on. I know you will love this book as much as I did. Get. It. Now!
For very different reasons, Memphis and Saint are in the same place - romantically unattached. An invitation to the Foxtail Inn sets the course to change all of that. The circumstances have been set. Will this misunderstood omega and withdrawn alpha find a way to make the connection they both desperately need?
Wonderful beginning to a new series. Complete with love, all the feels and new additions.

Saint and Memphis's story is the start of a new series that has sweet and heart tugging twist that you can't help but smile.
Saint and Memphis both receive a letter, inviting them to an Inn for a vacation, when they arrive and meet, the connection is strong, but their past have them putting up walls.
Their journey is a fast read that was a great escape for the afternoon.

This is a entertaining start to this new fated mates series. I enjoyed Memphis and Saint's story especially with mysterious Franklin pulling strings to bring together fated mates. I look forward to more stories from this series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I really liked Franklin. Saint and Memphis both had bad relationships. They are both invited to a special vacation and realize they are mates. Trust is built before they fully commit but it is all the better for their mating.
I loved this book! The first in a new series tells the story of Memphis and Saint, an alpha and omega who have been hurt in the past and are afraid to try again. With the help of one very special innkeeper, they will find each other and what a wonderful story it is!.

Awwww...this was so sweet. Memphis and Saint were lovely as mates. I like the mysterious meetup...the sweet courtship...the somewhat angsty separation that led to a lovely reunion. Very nice HEA and a wonderful start to this series.

Both Saint and Memphis carry wounds from their pasts. I was impressed that Memphis was the one to fully accept their bond and allowed Saint to set the pace and boundaries in their relationship. I loved the B&B owner, Franklin. He was the perfect mix of fairy godfather and interfering family. The ending is super sweet. Highly recommended author and series
The book was not bad by any means. But the pacing was terrible. Started out fine then, boom. Days and weeks passed without any rhyme or reason. I went back to make sure I didn't accidentally skip pages or something. A lot was left out in explanation for a lot of things. Major personality traits were suddenly changed for no reason.
I loved it and I loved it more! What a perfect couple Saint and Memphis make. They both have issues but as with any book by this author, their love eventually triumphs and their match was made in heaven. I love a well written fated mates story at the best of times and this start to a new series is wonderful. I loved it so much! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Saint, an omega wolf shifter, was raised in a cult like pack. He left when he was eighteen. He feels out of place but he feels free. Memphis, an bear shifter, was hurt by his ex and is afraid to take another chance. They both are invited to the Foxtail Inn and told that they would meet their mate. I really enjoyed this book.
Wonderful beginning to a new series. Franklin invites fated mates only and watch them come together. This one is about mates with trust issues. It's great how they find true love with each other in the end.

Saint is a wolf omega and Memphis is a bear. They are two of the lucky ones that Franklin has invited to his inn. They both have some baggage to get through to have the happy ever after. The story is sweet! A good read for little bit of time it takes to read it. Get and enjoy it.
Loved this! I love a good fated mates story!! Loved Memphis and Saint!! Although I thought Memphis would have been the one running!! But what I loved the most was how they got know each other first!! That was so beautiful!! Good book and I think I'm going to love this series!!
This was the first book in what I think is going to be a wonderful series. This was so cute and sweet. Fated mates and a fantastic matchmaking innkeeper made for a wonderful story. I can’t wait to read more from this series.
I liked this story. The storyline was really interesting. I love matchmaking stories. Saint and Memphis are interesting characters who find each other at the inn.

As always from this author another great tale of fated shifter mates. An omega who was sheltered and escaped a bad pack. An alpha who had been mistreated and abused by another omega. They learn to trust in each other and cute babies in the end!
Saint was escaped from a pack that was more of a cult disconnected from the modern world. Memphis was jilted by a mate that caused him a lot of personal and financial trouble. When both of them receive a free vacation letter, may or may not change for them.
