A good end!

* Bem tries to find evidence to stop Charlene from marrying Jagger. He goes as far as taking Julie and her whole family to Spain to try and get information, but Jed gets arrested, and Jagger is arrested, but he gets off scot free as usual.
* Charlene gets her hands on Jaggers confidential documents and finds out exactly what he's been up to. He spins her a tale, she confides in Clare, and then knowing what she knows she still marries him.
* Clare fell pregnant after her one night with Neil, but the pregnancy was ectopic and she nearly died. She does her best to help Jed get Jagger, but leaves the police force to go back to university and study law.
* Neil gets together with Jan, whose husband has been having an affair, and by the end of the book they're getting married.
* Kieran continues to stalk Jo, and Jagger advises her to get an injunction against him. Kieran is pissed off, and instead of turning up in court, tries to run Jo over and instead kills Jagger.
* Jed eventually publishes his book because Jagger and his co-conspirator are both dead and he can't get sued. Charlene is then pissed off because Clare gave Jagger's confidential files to Jed, and now his reputation is ruined, and a lot of his money is tied up because he didn't pay tax on it.
* Ben decides that he's bored of Julie, and dumps her, even though she's pregnant with his child. By the end of the book the child is several months old, and Ben still hasn't even told his mother that he has a son 🙈 He is such a dick.
