Oh my goodness this had me on the edge of my seat! From the beginning I was sucked in hoping Brom would return and they’d get their memories back, I was not expecting it would be a year later but it also made sense as we got more of how and what his quad was doing during that year. Finding more about the green smoke gave me more understanding there’s something bigger at play besides just The Four. I was worried for hot minute Broms Magic was never gonna return but kept thinking it’s gotta happen otherwise he’d be dead DEAD and man did he get them back in the nick of time! His fight with Wulfric was breath of fresh air as love details of his fighting Anima skills. The ending chapter 15 had me laughing and crying reading the banter between Oriana and Royal then Vale finally telling Brom she loved him oh this was such a good book now I’m ready to read how they kick the Fours ass in the next book #goquadbrilliant

I finished reading episodes 4-7 after being taken by a whirlwind with the first book (episodes 1-3) and they didn't disappoint. Another hit, a story I could not put down and I was constantly surprised about its twists and turns.
One thing I love about Fahnestock's stories is that I never know how will the story resolve, it's always surprising and it always makes sense. Love it.
Will continue all the series since these characters are easy to love and you want to follow them despite they're so different (or perhaps because of that).
Thank you Todd for writing such wonderful stories!

I love this series. Fahnestock creates a bold world that feels at the same time compact, yet expansive. The characters and the magic of this realm are engaging and fun. They’re the type of characters you want to follow through adventure after adventure to see what happens next. Cliffhanger ending has me wanting more. Give me more! Great read for fans of fantasy that’s both intimate and epic.
