He was a professor at Tsinghua University, Hongik University, and Fashion Institute of Technology. Chris was born at Pleiku Air Base at the end of the Vietnam War. He survived the Operation Babylift plane crash, but lost his family. He grew up thinking he was an orphan until he found his family after forty-eight years.
He is a graduate of both Brown and Penn. He speaks Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. He and his wife live happily ever after in Busan, Korea.
