My Sentiments:
'Falling For You Again!' was another of this author's beautiful creations featuring Lessa Patterson and Christ Black. This was quite a rocky situation, with Lessa having not only her first child out of wedlock but also another child, a son whom Chris was his father, and no, these two weren't married either. However, it looked promising for these two [Lessa and Chris] for a while, but an ex seemed to have come in between them. Will Lessa take her mom Eugeena's advice and pray about it? It seemed like Lessa felt left out of her family, being the only child of the three children [her two brothers] who were married. Will she be able to trust God for what she wants for her two children and herself? Will these two be able to get what they want from each other? To find out how this all comes together, pick up this good read and see how well this author presents it so well to the reader.
This is a short, quick read. There is no mystery. It is all romance between Eugeena's daughter and her son's father. It appears the author is trying to rehabilitate the relationship between the two. I'm not a fan of either of those two. Eugeena was just a background player in this novella. I finished the book because I didn't want to end up with a confusing gap in the story line when the next book comes out. If she were to ask my advice it would be for her to remember why she dumped him in the first place. Just because he is father to your son and good to your daughter you had 3 good dates doesn't make him a keeper.

Interesting short story of disappointments, setbacks, jealousy, inadequacies, and broken relationships. Leesa P, first a teen mom, and then a second unwed pregnancy with Chris B. Chris comes with baggage but despite Leesa’s own low self esteem, she is the love of Chris’ life. They have a hard row to hoe to find true and lasting love. Can they do it or is it just too hard and painful?
She made him earn her. - Listened to Audible version. Lisa and Chris, the father of her son, have a great co-parenting situation. That is until their parents (his mom especially) put bugs in their ears about marriage. It gets worse before it gets better as the two attempt to navigate their way back to each other. A good listen but the AI narrator cannot begin to relay the sarcasm in a Black woman's tone. Belinda was not done justice.
What a good preview for "Marinated Conditions". I love the series, the characters are established and evolves from the beginning book to the current. The theme to always pray reminds me of Proverbs 3:5-7 and 1 Thessalonians 5:17. The author started my enjoyment of mysteries.
I enjoyed this short story about Leesa and Chris. I am glad they got back together. He is good with their son and her daughter. Look forward to seeing more of them.
