"You are mine. My world. My angel. My everything."
Let me start off and say, please pay attention to the triggers. For me, it was an EXTREMELY hard read even with the warnings. If you've ever been a victim of SA/r*pe, I beg you to understand this is dark and so hard to read. You must be in a good headspace.
Now, on to the book itself. I love Bratva books! They are so brutal, and revenge is always swift and sweet. Actually, any mafia style book is. Just give them all to me! This one is no different! Demetrius is perfection! If you are craving a dark knight, a villain who would go to the ends of the earth, killing and burning everything in his path, Demetrius is all you need. I love him! He's the hero anyone who has been SA'd needs. The avenging angel we all needed at some point. The brutality we all wished for in our darkest weakest moments. Honestly, he is perfect, and I can't hate him for any reason. I don't care what others say.
"The thoughts keep coming. Maybe if I take a bunch of pills, he will leave me alone and not find me in time. He left the pills the doctor gave me just in case I needed them. I don't want to do this, but the voices in my head won't stop. I can't take the way I feel. I crave the quiet darkness."
Luna, oh my sweet, relatable Luna. How I feel every bit of her pain, her shame, her disgust. It's nearly impossible to claw your way back from such a devastating, degrading, humiliating situation. For her to not only come back from it not once, but twice is a testament to her strength. Not just Demetrius helping her, but her own strength. But, when she was in the middle of the storm, her thoughts, her actions, were something I know about because I have been there. When she screaming for it to stop, shaming herself because she couldn't stop it, that is real. That is suffering. That is everything that breaks you and leaves you with nothing. I can't help but admire her strength and her savagery.
Luna, while a fictional character, is the voice and the example of so many. The voice for those who didn't make it out. The voice for those that still fight the monster every day. The voice of those who do everything to forget. She made it through, so we can too. She is real. Her pain is so visceral. It hurts to read. I cried, am crying while writing this review, but also so damn uappy that she got her vengeance and will continue to get her vengeance. They tried to shame her, to bring her low. She is no broken doll. She is a queen, fierce and full of life and love! She is everything.
As I end this review, this book definitely is hard. But I think, while brutal and horrible, had the light at the end of the tunnel. That hope, that karma that we all need to reach for sometimes.

Loved this book! I am a huge sucker for a Russian mafia man! I loved the strong attraction between the two characters and of course a morally grey man! Highly recommend to everyone especially my fellow mafia lovers!!!

Who doesn’t love a mafia romance?! Great book! Definitely check triggers before reading though! It will absolutely keep you on your toes. I love the touch her and die vibe.

Check the triggers if there are things you don’t enjoy. I loved everything about this book. Who doesn’t love steamy Russian mafia love story?!? Luna endured so much. Not only did she overcome it she showed who’s boss!

DARK. DARK, and DARKER is the best way to describe this book. For all of those new to dark romance this might not be the book for you. However for those of you who have already traveled through that black hole you NEED to read this one! But just know all of those triggers are spot on! So you really, really need to read them.
Demetrius is my new book boyfriend for sure. This man fell for our MFC at first sight. “As I look at her, my brain starts committing her to memory because I know she is mine.” Uhmmm yes please! Honestly don’t even care that this man is in the mafia it just makes him hotter. The way he is with Luna is so special. He’s more understanding than a lot of the other men I have read about and his need to protect Luna at all cost just pulls at your heart. This man is obsessed, possessive, and ruthless to his core. But he only has eyes for one woman and anyone who gets in his way or tries to touch her will pay.
I felt so bad for Luna in this book. There are things in here I couldn’t even imagine and some parts that really made me want to cry. Her strength is honestly incredible! To go through all that she did not once but TWICE and survive it all was amazing to read. There were parts of her story that even I felt like I couldn’t get through and would have to stop reading for a bit before I kept going. But the revenge at the end definitely made up for it all!!!

- [ ] This book was crazy!! Luna was/is living in a delulu world lol and i loved it. I have never went though so many emotions with a character when she finds out that someone has claimed her and she has no clue who hs is or his first name.
- [ ] i dont have any trigger warnings but i will say please be sure to read them before starting this book. it gets dark really quick as she get kidnapped and human traffic on top of other things without to many details.

What a wild rollercoaster of emotions.... Throughout this book I wanted to cry, laugh and scream. What the character Luna experiences is mad! Please anyone picking this up, read the triggers. Only pick it up if you don't have any.
The book is well written and the storyline is good. The spicy scenes are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Very descriptive and who wouldn't want a possessive bratva as your one true love.
If you enjoyed books like Tears for Tess and Hunting/Haunting Adeline then I would recommend this for you (once you checked the triggers)

While it was a bit harder to get through the book than other dark romances that I've read- I still did enjoy the book overall. The reader comes to love the mfc and the mmc right off the bat instantly loving the connection between the two. I loved that in the end they were able to get revenge for everything that they both went through. This book is definitely for readers who like the darker romances- if that is you i would definitely give this a read!

Totally gives a fated mates vibe. But even better it give a touch her and die vibes🥰 I am in love with Mafia romance books, it’s a downfall for me. I’m the girl that wasn’t to be kidnapped 😅 the story between Luna and Demetrius will be one that I will fantasize for awhile. The protection he does has for Luna is a dream. I highly recommend reading this.

This was a spicy mafia book! At times I struggled with the writing style and the repetitive thoughts/sayings, but other times I was so intrigued I couldn’t put the book down! It is definitely one of the darkest books I’ve read which I enjoyed, but something that could affect others. Overall it was a good read but may not be for everyone!

Not for me
Book did not flow well. A bit disappointed, Luna relocates, sexually assaulted, sold , spanked because she is traumatized by the rape and no longer wants to live. Her owner loves her and claims to protect her and never hurt her. I could not read any more.

Be mindful and read the content warning. The only problem I had was there times in the story that was repetitive. She says one thing and then it repeats. Overall the story was intense and felt so much for Luna.

I have to be honest, the book started out very good and exciting. But once 30% into the book I was triggered. This has never happened to me. And the weird thing is it wasn't even over the "bad" things that happened to the FMC. It was after that MMC saved her. The way he traited her, that was triggering me.
Will i try to reread later, yes i think so. Because I really think it's a good story.
