Short story available to read online at the Asian Literature Project "YOMU" | The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur Official Website.

“YOMU” is an online literary project whose objective is to communicate how Asia is doing “now,” in the midst of Covid, by introducing short stories and essays of writers currently active in seven countries consisting of Southeast Asian countries of Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and India. The English and Japanese translations of each country’s works will be uploaded on to the Japan Foundation Asia Center’s website and transmitted to people throughout the world. From Malaysia a total of 4 writers who write in Malay, English, Chinese, and Tamil are participating.

In addition, we at the Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur have simultaneously undertaken a project to translate each of these Malaysian works into the other 3 languages under the supervision of our advisor, Mr. Amir Muhammad (FIXI), and this website is where you can read the stories.
