Mac had a thing for his jerk of a younger brother's girl, Mia, but he never did anything about it. Fast forward 6 years and single mom Mia is the head of the ED that Mac takes over head of surgery to be nearer to her. Sparks fly, tempers flare, bad guys try to destroy them all while they can't resist each other. I love a good bad boy who turns good story. This hits on every note.

Love the Campbell Family!!!

This is Mac and Mia’s story. It starts of with loss and heartbreak but then Mia and Mac find them working together and soon after the sparks start to ignite between the two of them. The story moves at a great pace and it’s one you won’t be able to put down. I can’t wait to read more from this series of standalones.

Spice 4🌶 🌶 🌶 🌶

This is technically book 2 in the Campbell series, but they can be read as standalones. The characters are interconnected so i have chosen to read in order and have not been disappointed. I really loved this story! I’m not going to give away any spoilers, but I loved the characters and the plot.

This is a wonderful slow burn romance, with a grumpy, rather arrogant and far too handsome hero and the spunky, fiercely protective Mama heroine who sets him straight, takes him aback and makes him work to be part of her life.

Mac and Mia have a connected history, but time and circumstances have kept them apart. Hopefully, now is the right time for them to build a future together.

If you enjoy a great Dr / Nurse trope then this is a book you should read. A great instalment in the Campbell family saga!

Saving the Campbell.

This is book two in the Campbell family series. They can be read as a series (which I totally recommend) or as stand alones, however they are connected.

Mac has always likes Mia. Even when she was with his brother. When his brother is killed and they find out that Mia is pregnant with his twins, the family keeps her as their own.

Years later, Mac is a billionaire doctor and still loves Mia. When he finds out she’s a nurse, he gets a job at her hospital and decides he wants to be there for her and her boys.

As they spent more time together they realize how well they fit together and how much they need each other.

I can’t wait for the rest of the series! I love how they’re all connected but not the same! 😍😍😍

ARC review

I really enjoyed this story! I’m a sucker for a Dr/nurse trope and greys anatomy has nothing on this family drama!

I’m not going to give away any spoilers, but I loved the characters and the overall plot. While the family dynamics were a bit hard to understand at times the underlying plot was interesting and a real page turner.

A great installment in the Campbell family saga!

This is a wonderfully tangled slow burn romance, with a grumpy, rather arrogant and far too handsome hero and the spunky, fiercely protective Mama Bear heroine who sets him straight, takes him aback and makes him work to be part of her life. Mac and Mia have a connected history, but time and circumstances have kept them apart. Hopefully, now is the right time for them to build a future together.

Mac first noticed Mia when she was dating his younger brother. Her being off-limits did not stop him from wanting to be with her, but she was committed to his brother. Too bad his brother wasn’t committed to her. He certainly couldn’t act on his feelings after his brother was murdered either. Both Mac and Mia were grieving his brother then. Unbeknownst to Mac, Mia gave birth to his late brother’s twins and has been raising them with a lot of help from many of the Campbells including Mac’s grandparents. Now they living in the same city, are connected through family and are working together. Mac is finally ready to make a move on Mia after years of hiding an attraction to her, but she is not the easy conquest he has come to expect. Mia is no pushover and her boys are first priority, not romance and certainly not casual hookups. She has been burned before, by Mac’s own brother, so she is cautious and extremely wary of men like Mac. Their path toward a happily ever after includes a few speed bumps, some unexpected twists and even some meddling by family members and friends.

I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving this review.

This is the first time I have read a book from this author and it won’t be the last.

What happens when the girl you want is younger than you, and not only that she is with your brother. You grin and bare it and get on with your life.
He never liked you but you just don’t understand why. He looks at you with disgust.
Then the unthinkable happens your boyfriend is killed and you find out things about them that turns your life upside down then you learn your pregnant. Thing is your aren’t alone you have a second family behind you.
Fast forward your boys are up and Max has came home but now something is different you want him and your told he has always wanted you. How could he, he never liked you.

This story is just lovely it is a nice slow burn that does well in giving us the back story and leading is into the current day. Even at that their romance is not instant but slow with them getting to the point of being a them. The story has twists thrown in that I did not see coming. This is not just a story about Mac and Mia but also about the inner workings of the family. I love Angus as the strong in your face grandfather who has such compassion and love for his family.

Fantastic story and I can’t wait to see what else this author does.

Oh my Mac and Mia's story, I loved them, this book surprised me in the most beautiful way. I did not expect they twists and turns and that rollercoaster ride it would take me on. It's packed with so much action, suspense, spice, kidnapping, drama, surprises and loads more. It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat, I just couldn't stop reading. I'm loving this series. Each book is a wonderful read. I can't wait to read more from this series. Highly recommend.

Mia works in the hospital in the end. She's a single mother to 2 beautiful kids. She found out she was pregnant with twins after her partner was killed, he wasn't a good man. With the help from his family she gets through it all.

Mac is a billionaire and a fantastic surgical doctor, he moved away to focus on his career and run away from his heartbreak of the one women he couldn't have, Mia his brother's misses. Even after his brother died it just didnt seem right to claim her.

But now he's back and wants his women. But there's a few surprises in store for them. It might not be plain sailing.. I don't want to say anymore as I don't want to spoil it . Grab the book and find out their story, you won't be disappointed, I sure wasn't!

I received an arc copy in return for an honest review.
This is the first book of this series I have read and for this author. It took a little to adjust to the fast paced writing style, character development and multiple storylines.
There are quite a few characters in the book to figure out who belongs to who and marriages amongst the same families that make the "who is really related" a little gray at moments.
Once I broke through the initial few chapters of fast paced character building, a great story developed.
Mia is a strong, independent, intelligent woman with a great sense of family and a great work ethic.
Billionaires, politicians, russian mafia- maybe?, military, medical...lots of tropes hit.
A couple of the character plots may have been unnecessary, but they may need their own book to complete their story. 😉
I enjoyed the overall book and message. I will definitely read the first book in the series to caught myself up and any future books!
Keep writing... great stuff!

Mia loved Findley, but he didn't deserve it. When she loses him tragically, but finds herself pregnant with twins, the Campbell family steps in to help every step of the way.
Mia believes Mac has always disliked her and he's never really around and he's a huge playboy. Once he becomes more involved with Mia and her twin boys, he realizes what was in front of him all along. Mia wonders if she can trust in this new attention from Mac. Her boys love him and she starts to trust and welcome the attention from Mac and there are some great lspicy bits along the way.
With the mystery of what really happened to his brother Findley, and what will become of him and Mia, I was invested in this book from start to finish.
This series is great and I'm looking forward to the next Campbell Romance!

This is the second book of the series and was about Mac and Mia. These books can be read as stand alone but I recommend starting with book 1 because they are good..
Mac is a Campbell and Mia is dating his brother at the beginning of the book, but that ends...and Mac has always had a crush on Mia but Mia thought Mac didn't like her. Mac leaves town and becomes a surgeon while Mia is a nurse and in charge of the ED..
Mac comes home and is in charge of the Trauma center of the same hospital Mia works at. He tries to ignore the sparks but he falls even harder for her..but will she give him a chance?
This book has everything... It has kidnapping, drama, a surprise pregnancy, family drama...and LOTS of spice!!!

If you love a grumpy billionaire doctor who falls first, surprise pregnancy twists, and a strong heroine rebuilding her life, this story hits every mark. Mac Campbell, a brilliant but emotionally closed-off (I wanted to punch him) trauma surgeon, has spent years longing for Mia—his late brother’s girlfriend. When he finally returns home, sparks fly fast, even if Mia can’t stand his grumpy attitude.
Their slow-burn chemistry ignites as Mac becomes entangled with Mia and her twin boys, but danger from the past brings a suspenseful edge to their romance. With forbidden feelings, family tension, and a mystery simmering beneath the surface, this book delivers a steamy, emotional ride.
Perfect for fans of billionaire doctor romances with heat, heart, and a hint of suspense.

Mia always had loved Findley. Unfortunately, a string of events caused his death. Mia fought with everything to raise his boys to where he would be proud. Thankfully family came in and helped her, but there was something missing.

Mac was a playboy. He didn't do commitments. But after moving back to his home town he meet Mia at his family compound. His brother would be proud of how she was raising his sons. But now, he wants her for himself.

Great read.

These tropes, y’all! Sexy billionaire Dr, taboo relationship between the Dr and nurse… and the SPICE Did I mention the spice?. DEFINITELY worth your time! Don’t sleep on this one! You’ll be glad you didn’t! The plot was well done and there was more medical drama then greys anatomy! I enjoyed Mia and thought she was such a wonderful character. At times the family got confusing but the plot was always there

Mia and Mac

Mia and Mac's story is really good. He's had feelings for her for a long time, but she was with his brother. She thinks he doesn't like her so tries to stay away. When his brothers passes, they slowly build a relationship though.

There is so much more to this story though so definitely read it! There's a lot going on and it's very unpredictable. I liked it a lot.

Saving the Campbell, book 2 of the Campbell Family Romance Series and this is Mac’s and Mia’s story. Im falling in love with this family’s drama minute by minute, and I cannot wait to read more with every page I turn. We learn so much about this family in this story. There is angst, a lot of emotion, and it’s hot! I’m excited for the next installment in this series!
As always be mindful of any trigger warnings what I like you may not.

Happy Reading!

Great story about Mia and Mac. There was a lot happening in this book. A lot of what happened I didn’t see coming. There were some darker moments. I loved the Campbell family. I love how they are always there for everyone no matter what. Mia had a tough life and was taken in by the Campbell family until her grandmother could get there. They see Mia as family. I can’t wait to continue reading the series

🔸️Are you a fan of complicated family relationships? Full scale big family melodrama? Billionaires, mansions, business mixed with politics? Maybe you have a bit of "The Dynasty" nostalgia? 😉 That's the book for you!

🔸️As for romance, it's slow burn, with many obstacles, some spice, and under "clan watchover".

🔸️ As for writing style, it is not exactly my thing, however, I think there would be many readers who will like and enjoy it.

We are back with the formidable Campbells. Let me start by saying thank you to Ms. Burns for including a list of all of the characters in this series. There are a lot and it gets confusing at times. It helps to have something to refer to. Mia Petrov has been dating Finley Campbell and is now ready to head off to school. Finlay's father, Jamie, does not feel like Mia is the right person for the only son that plans to follow in his footsteps to become a Senator. Does Finlay feel the same way? Well turns out, it did not really matter. Finlay is killed the same night he is supposed to break up with Mia. Problem solved, right? Not really. Mia finds out later that she is pregnant with twins and Finlay is their father.

The Campbells do what they do best. They rally around Mia. Imogen and Angus have always been apart of Mia's life. Isabel, Mia's grandmother, is Imogen's sister. Once Angus found out Mia was carrying his great-babies, nothing could stop him from helping to take care of them. Logan and Lucas came into the world with a family full of love. Their grandfather and his other sons didn't know they were born let alone Finlay’s sons. Finlay’s brother, MacGregor, tended to stay away because his father. MacGregor moved away and became one of the top surgeons in New Orleans. He was lured back to his hometown after seeing Mia at a conference. Mac has always had a thing for Mia but did not pursue anything.

Mia is now a top trauma nurse, raising her two boys with the help of her grandmother and the Campbells. Mac started spending time with the boys since he was staying at Campbell Manor. He and Mia grew closer though Mac’s take charge attitude never set well with her. Mia has become very independent. Her innovative techniques revolutionized trauma management.

I loved that Mac did what he needed to do to become the man Mia and her boys needed him to be. Amazingly, that is not all. Ms. Burns knows how to pack a lot into a book. The more I learn about this family, the more I find that I adore about them. Jaime made me see that there is always one in the family. His entitled attitude is the exact opposite of what Angus and Imogen portray.
