The heroine: Lyndsey Walters - A single mother who recently was in a car accident with her young son. He was badly injured and is in need of surgery to help him. She is a journalist and is tasked by a VIP mother whose son was killed to find out what is happening on The Colony, the prison planet where the Earth forces had been sent.
The Hero: Kiel - a Hunter on The Colony, he was previously held and tortured by “The Hive” and since has been abandoned on The Colony. He is a Hunter and works for the Governor of the planet to search out traitors and members of “The Hive” who try to infiltrate The Colony.
The Story: Lyndsey arrives on The Colony. She is supposed to hide in the air shafts and observe and report on what she finds. However, her arrival is caught on camera by the Governor and Kiel and Kiel is tasked with hunting her (though at the time they think she is a he).
It turns out Lyndsey and Kiel are fated mates and Kiel knows it from the start as shared erotic dreams are a sign of fated mates and the two of them share dreams from the time Lyndsey gets close to The Colony. When she arrives and is found by the men of the planet Kiel must fight to claim her as his.
I got annoyed at parts of the story. It seemed like things were often explained to death and beyond. From the very beginning where Lyndsey described her being on a spaceship, a stowaway hiding in a container. She detailed her reasons why and how she doesn’t care about anything but getting an operation for her son in about every way she could possibly say it. I even said out loud “Ok Already, I get it!
The book was told in dual Points of View with two narrators that were new to me but very good. Melissa Swairey had a soft but clear voice which matched Lyndsey as the human journalist. Rich Miller had an extremely deep voice that was perfect for the tall muscular warrior that was Kiel. I enjoyed the narration and the story was good despite the earlier problems I had with it.

Interstellar Brides: The Colony series #3. Science fiction romance with erotica elements. Can be read as a stand-alone but better as part of the interconnected group of series by the author.
Single mother Lindsey Walters agrees to an undercover assignment sneaking aboard a freighter going to the Colony. She needs to find out the truth about what’s happening to Earth’s brave soldiers. While on the Colony she meets and falls for Kiel, a Hunter from Everis. He knows that she is his mate. But Lindsey left her son at home and she wants to return to him. She will have to decide between the two most important men in her life.
This was a heartbreaker as she falls in love with Kier but knows she can’t leave her son. Plus the science exists that can help her son recover from an accident. While she’s on the Colony, there is quite a bit of steamy times which makes it all the more difficult to choose to break her mates heart. An impossible choice.
This was the first time I felt like I missed some background. With the list I found on the author’s website and Goodreads, I’ll probably go backwards at this point and read in order.
I loved the story and resolution! It’s ultimately the perfect solution. But I want to know a little more background I think I missed.

This is the third book in the Interstellar Brides subseries- The Colony. This series is about alien men on this one planet called The Colony finding their mates with human women. This one is centered around single mom Lindsey and hunter Kiel. Lindsay ends up sneaking aboard a ship destines for the Colony in order to save her son's life back on Earth. But when she lands on The Colony, she will not land undetected. Her fated mate has sensed her and will do anything to find her.
This one was just so good!! We have our first single parent romance in this entire series and I just love that! I love the things that happened that the end to, so we might expect some more single parent books 👀👀👀 I really liked this couple and how Kiel was fully ready to become a father.

Lindsay está desesperada por conseguir dinero para poder operar a su hijo. Por ello acepta un trabajo de "investigadora" en el que tendrá que viajar a otro planeta llamado la colonia para averiguar sobre el hijo del senador Brooks. Lo que no se esperaba era encontrar a su compañero predestinado, Keil. Pero su hijo es más importante, y las madres solteras están prohibidas en la colonia...
Me ha gustado, aunque la traducción es mala las he visto peores. La historia está muy bien y aunque hacen referencia a la saga de novias interestelares tampoco hace falta habérsela leído porque yo no lo he hecho y te enteras perfectamente de todo.
Si que es verdad que siento que la historia no profundiza en nada. Sí, es corta pero eso no significa que no se pueda profundizar en sentimientos. En este libro solo ha sido: oh, mi marca reluce mi compañera está cerca, tiene que quedarse conmigo. Y luego ya te amo... Pueeeeees vale. Jajajaja
Ya, ya sé que a las historias cortas no se le pueden pedir muchas reflexiones pero bueno... Aún así para pasar el rato está bien.

Il programma spose interstellari è stato ideato per abbinare la terrestre giusta al guerriero alieno compatibile che ne farà la sua compagna per la vita.
I pianeti che fanno parte della coalizione sono tanti e ognuno dei suoi abitanti ha delle specifiche caratteristiche fisiche, che non si discostano poi molto da quelle umane. Semplicemente sono più grossi e molto più forti e, soprattutto, variano nel modo di accoppiarsi.
Dov’erano i barbari dalla pelle blu che popolavano i miei amati romanzi di fantascienza?
Dov’erano gli uomini ricoperti di squame che potevano mutare forma e diventare dei draghi e sputare fuoco nel corpo di una donna e farla ardere di desiderio?
Dei banalissimi capelli castani? Seriamente?
Non potevo vederli in faccia, ma avevano tutti due braccia, due gambe, dei bei culi e delle spalle enormi, capaci di farmi inzuppare le mutandine.
Dio quanto mi piacevano le spalle larghe.

Solo una specie è davvero spaventosa, anche se per sentito dire, un nemico che nessuno ha mai visto: “Lo Sciame”. Si dice che siano dei mostri terrificanti, al punto che i governi della Terra hanno acconsentito alla richiesta della coalizione di assicurare spose e guerrieri, in cambio di protezione.
Il modo più comune per riconoscere l’anima gemella è quella di avere la fortuna di trovarsi in un raggio d’azione ragionevole, una distanza che fa scaturire strani turbamenti, eccitazione, sogni hot e, nel caso della specie “everiana” , il surriscaldamento del marchio sulla mano.
Questa sorta di agenzia matrimoniale è infallibile! Si hanno risultati già da quando si mette piede nel centro di elaborazione, dove si può avere l’esito del responso ed essere teletrasportati nel pianeta dell’abbinamento.
La Colonia è un pianeta-prigione dove sono destinati i guerrieri alieni che hanno combattuto per la coalizione, ma che sono stati catturati dallo Sciame e alterati. Quando hanno avuto la possibilità di tornare a casa, la loro stessa gente li ha rifiutati poiché ritenuti pericolosi e danneggiati. In questo pianeta dimenticato da Dio non è consentito essere abbinati a una sposa, per cui i suoi abitanti sono tutti di sesso maschile. Potete immaginare cosa succede quando la giornalista terrestre, Lindsey Walters, viene segretamente mandata lì per indagare sulle condizioni dei prigionieri. La ragazza è una madre single, costretta a questa missione suicida perché le hanno sottratto il suo bambino, ricattandola per ottenere informazioni.
Kiel, cacciatore d’Élite Everiano che vive nella Colonia, di punto in bianco si ritrova a condividere un sogno erotico con una donna di nome Lindsey, ma non si dà una spiegazione logica visto che il pianeta è popolato di soli uomini. Trovarla e non lasciarla più andare diventa la sua priorità. Lei, invece, si troverà a dover fare una scelta dolorosa, ma scontata fin dall’inizio.
La Colonia è una location davvero notevole, abitata da un concentrato di testosterone all’ennesima potenza. I personaggi sono tutti interessanti e molto particolari, infatti mi è venuta voglia di leggere tutta la serie.
Questa coppia improbabile non si sarebbe mai ritrovata, se non fossero stati in un raggio d’azione così vicino. Lei, essendo ragazza madre, non poteva partecipare all’accoppiamento del programma spose interstellari, pur volendolo. Lui, anche se desideroso di farsi una famiglia e trovare una compagna, è un reietto che aveva perso ogni speranza di far realizzare il suo sogno.
Che succederà adesso? Pensate davvero che un everiano, che trova la compagna per la vita, la lasci andare così facilmente? Il problema più grosso, adesso, è preservarla dagli altri abitanti del pianeta e reclamarla.
Entrambi i protagonisti hanno una forte personalità e sono caratterizzati molto bene.
Come sempre, il programma è vietato ai minori, incandescente e intenso.
L’autrice ti conduce con enfasi in un altro mondo, con occhi aperti e tanta voglia di capire come possono amare questi strani alieni, scoprendo che in realtà non si discostano poi molto da ciò che già sappiamo, ed è ben radicato nel cuore pulsante di tutti gli esseri viventi.

Lindsey Walters is struggling to pay the medical bills associated with her four year old son, Wyatt's accident. Looking at mounting future surgeries and medical care, Lindsey is offered an opportunity to get all the money needed in exchange for her spying on the Colony planet returning with visual and audio evidence of the actual conditions on the planet. Many on Earth feel that the Colony is illegally keeping Earth citizens in prisons and as slaves as opposed to the current PR circulating that Earth's soldiers are staying on the planet by choice.
The colony is home to survivors of Hive implants and circuitry resulting in their being contaminated and unable to return to their home planets. All but disowned, these warriors have created new lives and new families though they have as of yet to know the love of a mate. That changes when the interstellar bride program matches a handful of warriors to Earth mates though none in recent times. The reason for this is unknown until a female spy is discovered who is persuaded to reveal her secrets.
Kiel is the ultimate hunter who has never lost a prey once scented. Dream sharing with a female, he's unable to locate her until she physically shows up on the Colony. One sniff is all it takes for Kiel to know that Lindsey is his mate though she rejects his claim insisting once her mission is complete she will return to Earth.
Regardless, one the primary stipulations in the Interstellar Bride program is that females be willing ..... unattached ...... childless ...... oops, guess that is an automatic denial.

This is the third installment in the Interstellar Brides: The Colony series that changes things up from the previous matching formula and mates. I appreciated that as it does provide an alternate story line AND adds a jumping off platform to take the series in a new direction in regards to the overall series plot.
Kiel was a character I had been looking forward to and happy that the author didn't disappoint and/or let me down. There was romance, there was suspense, there was mystery, but above all there was hope for the future of the planet and it's inhabitants.
The romance is definitely m-f adult content with Kiel and Lindsey heating up the pages in toe curling fun. This couple rocked it both inside and outside the bedroom. lol
Including Warden Egara was a nice touch though I'm petitioning for her to have her own story sooner than later. Hasn't she suffered enough and deserves some 'help' managing Earth's Interstellar Bride Program? I feel strongly that it's her time to shine. :)

If you are reading this series, along with all the spinoffs, in chronological order, I recommend reading this AFTER book 2 of the Colony Series “Mated to the Cyborgs.” and BEFORE book 11 of The Interstellar Bride Series “Her Viken Mates.”
The Interstellar Brides series takes place at a time where aliens are real and there are several different planets and species. There is a galactic enemy known as the hive, which is a technological species that invades planets and either kills its inhabitants or transforms their captives into one of them. A coalition was formed between the planets who are at war with the hive. Each member of the coalition is required to supply soldiers and brides to the cause. Soldiers to fight the hive, and brides to repopulate the diminished that have fallen victim to the war. There is a neurological test that a bride takes to me matched to their perfect alien planet, then their perfect alien match on that planet, through a series of sexual desires that only our subconscious can answer for. Earth allows for volunteers to apply to the program, or grants female criminals the option to become a bride over a prison sentence. Those who volunteer are paid a healthy sum of money, and those who are prisoners are given clean slates. All applicants are required to give up their Earth citizenship to become a resident of their new chosen planet. A bride has 30 days to accept or reject their match. If they accept their claim, they are mated to their new alien husband for the rest of their lives where they are expected to make babies. If they reject their mate, they are assigned a new one on that same planet. Where they are still expected to make babies. Warden Egara makes continued appearances throughout the series as she is the one who processes the brides in the United States. The Colony Series takes place alongside the interstellar bride series, but focuses solely on the residents of the Colony. The colony houses veterans of war, tainted with Hive technology. They cannot return to their home worlds because of their cyborg hive tech, so they live the remainder of their lives on the colony. Brides can be matched to a soldier living on the colony as they can also test for the matchmaking system like everyone else. As the books progress, more brides specifically request the Colony instead of another coalition planet.
The author was smart in how she developed her story lines with the different species. Whenever she feels like getting kinky with orgies, she just has to write a match made to Viken. Feeling like dominant wall sex? Looks like it’s an Atlan beast book. In the mood for sentimental feelings? Prillion it is. Or some one-on-one bondage and S&M? Yep, it’s a Trion book. Lol
Written in first person, Cyborg Seduction is book 3 in this series and follows the human bride Lindsey Walters and her alien cyborg Hunter Kiel from the planet Everis (but stationed on base 3 of the Colony). We first met Kiel in book 2 of the colony as a new arrival who helped Kristin rescue her captured mates from the hive, and he is the ONLY Everian hunter on the colony. This match was made outside the scope of the Bride Matching process. In book 1 of the colony, we met a human on the colony, infected with Hive so he could not return home, but he died of a Quell (alien drug) overdose. The Governor’s mate Rachel helped solve that mystery, but not before it took lives. Turns out that human was the relative of powerful people with connections, who wanted answers that the Colony wasn’t providing. So they hired Lindsey, an investigative reporter and blogger, to infiltrate the hive and gather information. They offered her money in exchange, enough to help her son get the surgery he needed after a bad car accident. There was also a lingering threat that if she failed, they would hurt and kill her son and mother. Thoroughly motivated, she snuck onto the hive via space shuttle (with help) and made her way into base 3. As luck would have it, her marked mate happened to be there, making their marks burn to life. They dream shared, he hunted her, he won a challenge against 2 Prillions that staked a claim, they had sex, Governor Maximus agreed to let her gather her intel via interviews after an interrogation, she fell in love with Kiel but couldn’t stay because of her son Wyatt, Lindsey confided only in Rachel, Rachel contacted Warden Egara and they made a plan, Lindsey returned to Earth and healed her son with a borrowed wand, the bad guys found them hiding in a hotel, Kiel followed her to Earth and hunted her down and saved her from the bad guys just in the Nick of time, and everyone returned to the Colony to live happily ever after. Phew! A lot happened in this book. In fact, this might be a rare book that had more adventure than romance. Also, I was thoroughly annoyed with Lindsey for withholding information from Kiel. I heavily doubt that he would have expected her to choose to stay with him over returning to her son. She should have just told him so they could make a plan together, with his protection, to retrieve Wyatt. I will say that Kiel’s acceptance and initial interaction with Wyatt made my heart melt. Such a perfect alien mate. Awe. 🫶🏻 Oh, and after this book, the Bride Program started accepting females with existing children.
Everians are humanoid, similar in size to humans. What sets them apart from everyone else is their enhanced speed and strength, unfailing instinct for the hunt, strong minds and iron wills, and they are born with a birthmark - their matched mate bearing the exact same mark, their one true mate, and the mark comes alive when they are near, burning like fire when their marked mate is near by. Most Everians can’t conceive unless it is with their one true matched mate. Only one in a hundred are lucky enough to find their marked mate. In order to fully claim a mate, they have to have three types of sex with their mate: oral, anal and vaginal (in that order). With that being said, this book ignored that sacred order of three altogether. I guess it only matters when they’re at the Touchstone on Everis? Because they don’t do this whole Everian sacred claiming order of three in any books aside from the virgin series. What’s up with that? On a side note, Everians have become a close tie with Atlans as my favorite of the alien species. 🫶🏻
There have been way too many romance novels I’ve read that had me frustrated and yelling “Jesus Christ, when are they gonna fuck?! Get to the good shit already!” When we’re 50% in, and the main characters have barely kissed each other, leaves readers like me aggravated. This is NOT one of those books. The very first chapter gives a very clear indication of what we are in for. I’m fairly confident that there is more sexual content in this book than adventure. It is, quite literally, word porn.
Spankings take place in every single book (with the exception of book 1 in this series). If any man spanked me, I would probably kill them in their sleep, but I guess some women do enjoy them. Spankings are more of a turn-off than turn-on in my case, so I just ignore those parts of the books like “nope, that didn’t just happen.” I think the hardcore S&M lifestyle is growing on me because this book didn’t bother me as much as the first books in the Bride Series did. Either the author has eased up in her writing, or I’ve become numb to the controlling bondage experience. Either way, I’m all in.
As I’ve read through this series and all its spin offs, I can attest that the plot is incredibly addictive. I am way too invested in each book, in all its adventure and romance.
The Interstellar Brides series takes place at a time where aliens are real and there are several different planets and species. There is a galactic enemy known as the hive, which is a technological species that invades planets and either kills its inhabitants or transforms their captives into one of them. A coalition was formed between the planets who are at war with the hive. Each member of the coalition is required to supply soldiers and brides to the cause. Soldiers to fight the hive, and brides to repopulate the diminished that have fallen victim to the war. There is a neurological test that a bride takes to me matched to their perfect alien planet, then their perfect alien match on that planet, through a series of sexual desires that only our subconscious can answer for. Earth allows for volunteers to apply to the program, or grants female criminals the option to become a bride over a prison sentence. Those who volunteer are paid a healthy sum of money, and those who are prisoners are given clean slates. All applicants are required to give up their Earth citizenship to become a resident of their new chosen planet. A bride has 30 days to accept or reject their match. If they accept their claim, they are mated to their new alien husband for the rest of their lives where they are expected to make babies. If they reject their mate, they are assigned a new one on that same planet. Where they are still expected to make babies. Warden Egara makes continued appearances throughout the series as she is the one who processes the brides in the United States. The Colony Series takes place alongside the interstellar bride series, but focuses solely on the residents of the Colony. The colony houses veterans of war, tainted with Hive technology. They cannot return to their home worlds because of their cyborg hive tech, so they live the remainder of their lives on the colony. Brides can be matched to a soldier living on the colony as they can also test for the matchmaking system like everyone else. As the books progress, more brides specifically request the Colony instead of another coalition planet.
The author was smart in how she developed her story lines with the different species. Whenever she feels like getting kinky with orgies, she just has to write a match made to Viken. Feeling like dominant wall sex? Looks like it’s an Atlan beast book. In the mood for sentimental feelings? Prillion it is. Or some one-on-one bondage and S&M? Yep, it’s a Trion book. Lol

Cyborg Seduction - Grace Goodwin (Interstellar Brides: The Colony Book 3)
Cyborg Seduction is the third book in the Interstellar Bride - The Colony series by Grace Goodwin. The Colony books have been a great addition to the series dealing with warriors who have been banished from their home planets shafted having been captured by The Hive and "contaminated." Forced to live away from family and forge an existence on this new home world they are without hope of ever having a mate and family as fee Interstellar Brides have been sent there (only two so far).
This is one of my favorite books of the series. It's focus is on Lindsey Walters, a single mom who has been bribed to spy on the loony to get the "real story" about the warriors and The Hive. She is made an offer of badly needed money to help fix her son who had been injured in an accident.
Lindsay is unable to infiltrate the planet as an interstellar bride as women with children are not eligible for the program. (This glitch needs to be fixed as there are probably many warriors willing to Mate with a single mom and accept their children as their own.)
Lindsey isn't the bravest of spies she is only a blogger, but agrees to hide in the cargo of a star ship headed to The Colony. I admire her courage , strength and loved that the heroine was a single mom.
Keil is a Skilled Hunter from the planet Evaris. He is the only Hunter on The Colony and his skills are unsurpassed. When he is assigned to find the unauthorized life form that has snuck into the Colony without going through the official transport system, he is beyond surprised to find the mating mark on his wrist heat up. Turns out this stowaway is not a male spy but a beautiful female and his mate.
Lindsey refused to tell anyone on the Colony about her situation and her son. Falling for Kiel with whom she realizes she has a strong bond with confuses her even further. To make the situation even more heartbreaking is that Lindsey also has an Evarian mating mark (apparently has some ancestors from this planet) that has activated,realizing Kiel is not just a gorgeous hunky alien male but her true mate.
The two come together for some hot, steamy love scenes which are also quite emotional as Lindsey feels she must keep her son a secret and will have to leave her true mate and return to earth.
As the adventure, romance and intricate storylines evolve the reader is further pulled into this well developed world and it's inhabitants.
I really enjoyed this fast paced, exciting sexy romantic adventure that also pulls at our heartstrings.
I highly recommend reading this series in order and enjoying all the books in this entertaining enjoyable series.

Sedotta dal cyborg di Grace Goodwin
Ho già detto che tutta la serie colonia è più accurata, I libri sono più lunghi e le storie più particolari.
Vale anche per questa storia, tra il cacciatore Everis ,Kiel che già avevo avuto modo di conoscere i libri precedenti, E la sua compagna marchiata ,la giornalista terrestre Lindsey .
Tutta la loro storia esula dal “programma spose interstellari” il loro incontro, il loro essere destinati procede su altre vie.
Lindsey deve salvare suo figlio, Per questo motivo accetta di andare sulla colonia per prendere informazioni sulla morte di Brooks ,
(Un terrestre che si era già visto nel primo capitolo della serie colonia)
I due personaggi principali sono motivati e articolati; Kiel spicca maggiormente per il senso dell’onore, la determinazione e le
capacità. In generale tre difetti in questo libro che non ho incontrato in altri della Goodwin e Che quindi mi hanno sorpreso in maniera negativa penalizzando di molto il mio giudizio finale:
Troppa verbosità iniziale a detrimento dei dialoghi, di solito lo stile della Goodwin è molto più snello e veloce invece le prime pagine sono state piuttosto macchinose e lente.
Poca solidarietà femminile:
“Quindi sono fottuta. Devo scegliere tra Kiel e mio figlio.”
“Sì.” Si asciugò una lacrima dalla guancia. “Sembra sia così. Hai fatto la tua scelta. Davvero vuoi rinunciare al tuo compagno per ritornare da tuo figlio?”
“Non è che abbia altra scelta.” Le parole mi uscirono dalla bocca in un flebile sussurro.
“Sì, ce l’hai.”
“Ma con me erano stati tutti gentili. In effetti, su questo pianeta le due persone che si erano comportate peggio era le due donne umane, Rachel e Kristin. Mi guardavano entrambe come se stessi torturando il loro animaletto preferito. ”
Non ci siamo ,non mi piaciuto per niente : figlio batte compagno 100 volte su 100, E il comportamento fatto assumere dalle altre due terrestri che avrebbero dovuto invece capire come donne la battaglia interiore profonda di Lindsey,inqualificabile.
Avrei voluto conoscere molto meglio le caratteristiche del cacciatore Everis, la natura del marchio, le capacità e i poteri della razza… sappiamo così tanto sui Prillon, sugli Atlan, questo era il momento di descrivere quest’altra razza esaurientemente …ecco magari al posto di tutte quelle introspezioni lente , si poteva argomentare a riguardo.
Bello il finale e l’epilogo.

Cyborg Seduction is book 3 in the of the Interstellar Brides: The Colony Series is a spin off from Interstellar Brides Series. It can be a little confusing with all the “Interstellar Brides” Books.
I really enjoyed this story. This time it is Lindsey Walters & Kiel (a hunter from Everis) story. Kiel was captured and tortured by the Hive and has now been banished to “The Colony”. Lindsey has a son that was in a nearly fatal accident. She will do anything she can for her son. This runs up the medical bills which Lindsey can’t pay. She takes on a crazy assignment and that is to sneak aboard a freighter bound for the terrifying alien prison planet known as “The Colony” to find out the truth about what is happening to Earth’s brave soldiers. Lindsey meets her mate and she has to choose between this HOT ALPHA alien and her son. And, the story goes on from here.
Cyborg Seduction is another amazingly Hot book! It is what it is HOT! Grace Goodwin sure knows how to write to drag a person into her stories. This is the first book in the series that hasn’t had a ménage romance story. It is just about a couple. Of course you will see the characters from the first 2 books in Cyborg Seduction. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I give this book 4.5 stars and I can’t wait to read more from Grace Goodwin. Please keep on cranking out more books.

Omg Grace Goodwin you are an amazing writer, you never fail to draw me in and make me believe that this is real life and it happens everyday and not just made up in your brilliant mind anyway on to the story, it's about a mother trying to help her injured son with medical bills piling up and more in the future, Lindsey is approached and offered the money to help her son if she goes off planet to the colony planet and investigate what happened to this rich family's bother because they don't believe what they have been told, so they smuggle her on a transport going to the colony she has 3 days to get in and out or harm will come to her son, she is detected as soon as she leaves the crate she was in, in her search she find a large group and men/ aliens fighting in a ring and watches for awhile but decides to leave and gets caught all the men want to claim her and are willing to fight for her as there is only a couple of women on this planet and she is a prize to fight over but one man stands out above all other Kiel this man she dream about is was not real and is now stand before her and claiming her as his mate he fights win and claims his prize the heat between them is off the charts and both are very happy a little later anyway she tells them her story and they help her get what she needs for her story but what she finds is the truth and the stories are heart breaking she films it all ready to take back home, will Lindsey find love with Kiel, will everything work out grab this great book and find the answers it's a must read. thanks Karen Nastasio

Awesome, no anal this time. Simple plots. But very interesting. Of course earth government isn’t telling the truth to families about their missing men from war. One very wealthy family decides to find out the truth by sending a reporter to get the truth on the colony. Convinced the humans are being locked up and used for purposes unknown.
The reality, no one who has been taken by the hive can return to their own home. They’ve been infected with Hive technology. This technology can be activated at any time turning them into killing machines.
The reporter is snuck onto a transport ship with trees and other plants being dropped. Since she’s not an investigative reporter she gets caught quickly. The Governor of the colony decides to allow her full access to record the base as well as all of the earth veterans.
Even though she has met her fated mate she must go home, she has a mother and son who are being threatened with torture and death by the family who sent her.
Her fated mate comes for her and they return to their own home colony.
I am not including all of the details because you should read this book. It’s interesting and I liked it a lot. I’m looking forward to the next in this series.

Enjoyed Lindsey and Kiel's story. Lindsey has managed to sneak onto The Colony planet to do a bit of investigative reporting. Of course, she is not a very good sneaker and also not that kind of reporter, so things don't really go well. She gets caught PDQ and finds herself the object of way too much attention as the warriors fight over her. Hunter Kiel has been investigating a security breach, and has indications that his marked mate is nearby. As you may have guessed, these two things are related. Now he finds himself in a fight with two Prillons if he wants to have a chance to claim her. Fortunately, this isn't a problem.
Of course, Lindsey has not risked a trip through space hidden in a shipping container just to look at hot aliens. Threats to her son and mother require her to complete her mission, and no alien 'mate' is going to keep her from returning to Earth. She won't be allowed to test for the Interstellar Brides program due to her young son not being allowed to go off-planet, so it is a no-brainer. Her son is the most important thing to her even if it breaks her heart to leave Kiel behind.

Our first single mother bride! Though Lindsey is not a bride but the marked mate of Kiel (the Everian Hunter we met in Mated to the Cyborgs). I love all the Colony vets - each and every one has suffered pain and rejection but they persevere. This story brings into focus the Earth's mistrust of the Coalition and aliens in general. I loved seeing how the people of The Colony Base 3 pull together to come up with the plans that will bring about the advantageous solutions for both Lindsey and the Colony. There are some steamy scenes in this book but I feel that the story itself is what makes these books awesome. I truly loved that the author gave Rezz (Kiel's Atlan teammate) some quality time in this book and I REALLY look forward to Rezz getting his own book (I have loved all of the books and worlds in this series but the Atlans are my favorites).
Smoking hot aliens that would do ANYTHING to protect their mates (or women in general), a seemingly unstoppable alien menace, and strong women make for some truly entertaining reads. I wholeheartedly recommend this series.

I love the colony!
“Kiel is the Evarian Hunter that the hive has changed and now he can't go back to his home world. It doesn't matter though he's still one of the best deadliest hunters in the galaxy. She learns the true that these brave warriors sacrificed all in the war against the hive and are now denied access to they're home because they are partially integrated. 💖Lindsey falls hard and fast for Kiel and vice versa but there is one big secret Lindsey has a son on Earth who has been hurt badly and she needs to go home. Thus the action, adventure and great passion abound in this wonderful tale of the interstellar brides on the COLONY!!!! LOVED IT💖💖

The Heroine wasn't one of my favorite characters. I loved Kiel in the other book and felt sympathy for him. I clearly understood how torn she was and how they kept telling her they couldn't make exceptions but they shouldn't have done so. The constant rehash of why she was so torn up about her feelings for both Kiel and her son wasn't necessary. I almost felt like it was just a way to get page count. Prince Nial (can't remember his title now for the life of me) is the authority for the universe the way she's written these. I wouldn't have expected him to not override the silly edict by Earth Government especially when it came to a natural match. And not to be too particular but having read some of The Virgin Interstellar Brides I remember the claiming requiring 3 parts (I won't list them all) along with the putting the marks together for the final part. Just niggly little things that bothered me about this one. Still a good story, especially liked the first part when Rezz defended her from the desperate men. :)

I really enjoyed this book. It was a little mystery, a little denial, a little bit of hurt, and a whole lot of love. They just don’t know it yet. Lindsay has one job to do sneak aboard a freighter and spy on the colony. Report back and use the money to help her son. At three years old he may never walk ride again due to a car accident. She had to complete the mission. Not to mention her mother and son were in danger if she didn’t. What she hadn’t planned on is a strange birthmark on her hand giving her trouble when she got there, and since she’s a lousy spy she was discovered early. Kiel, the hunter showed up just in time. And wasn’t it strange that the mark on his hand started going crazy at the same time. They are so perfect to each other if they could just get the secrets out in the open. Kiel knew Lindsay was right for him, but now he had to prove it to her. It wasn’t that easy but when the secrets came out he knew what he had to do and he would do anything for he is now complete family

OMG I LOVED THIS STORY! and now the Colony can take on single moms, older women and kids can be there!!!! Yea. Lindsey is a single mom to a sweet 3 year old, that has alot of medical needs. With limited funds and running out of options a wealthy family approaches her holding a big payoff should she get information on the Colony. With her back up against the wall and her child's health on the line she sneaks onto a transport vessel to the Colony. While in stasis she Dream Shares with a Hunter from Everis, Kiel. Kiel does not understand as he has withdrawn his option for the bride program his head is filled with Lindsey. With his body raging he knows that she is near, but cannot understand how. The Colony reports a breech, intruder, Kiel knows that this is his Mate. I am so in love that Grace Goodwin is exploring the softer side to this vets, she brings them hope and a new life for them. I cannot wait to read more about the Colony.

I really enjoyed this one. Lindsey is a freelance journalist and has found herself in a not so great situation. She needs money in order to pay medical bills and needed surgery for her 3 year old son and has been offered a job to sneak onto the colony and figure out what is actually going on but they are also threatening her son and her mother in order to force compliance. Very quickly though, things change as she dream shares with Kiel, her marked mate. She has no idea what that means at first but Kiel is on the hunt and knows his mate is on the planet. I enjoyed this story and the way that things developed. We get to see more of the stories of the people on the colony and what their stories are as Lindsey does interviews to find the truth. The story was well written and entertaining and I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to more books set in the colony.

On the way to the other planet, though, she has a steamy dream that seems real. She wakes up wanting more, but realizes she needs to forget the dream and focus on her task at hand.
Then she meets Kiel, and finds out he is more than just a dream. He is her mate, and wants her to stay with him on the Colony. Lindsey needs to think about her son, though. How can she choose between her mate and her son?
I would give this book 3 stars. It is not the first book in the series. I've read some other books in this series but think this would do fine as a standalone book. I was asked by the author for an honest review.

These stories are much better than the blue alien ones. We get some more sci-fi bits, a ton of alien spice, great drama and a hea. However, be ready for some cavemen behaviour from the aliens towards their mates, even if technologically more advanced , their male brains appear to regress when they meet their mate.
Our fmc goes into this alien 👽 planet on the hush hush 🤫 🤐 she is pretty rubbish at it, but ends meeting her mate and things unrevealed from there. We get smut from the word go, so be ready for it. But, the plot was good too.
I do have a pet peeve with author’s description of alien giants as around the 7 or 8 feet tall mark 🤦🏽♀️😒 honestly, can they not do better than that??????? A giant should be well and truly beyond the tallest human and not a tall NBA player 😤🤬🤯😱
The narration was good too. The voices were perfect for their respective characters.

Cyborg Seduction is the third book in the Interstellar Brides: The Colony Series which is a spin-off from Interstellar Brides Series.
This book is totally different than any of the others as Lindsey is a single mum and when I read the blurb I thought how is this going to work it's against all the rules.... but it does work beautifully you won't get the full effects of how it does until the end but let me tell you that Miss Goodwin has done an amazing job.
Kiel just had my heart from the start he was so trusting loving and knew from the get go that she was his, heart mind and body knew this as well. These two will set your kindle on fire and make your heart melt. Wait till you meet little Wyatt :)

I liked this book the most in this series. I liked that the character Wyatt the most in the book and by the end of the book I felt like Wyatt was a live in my head just because of the way that Grace Goodwin wrote about him. I also wanted to play and be a bride the series with Wyatt at the end of the book too. 😀. I can't wait to read the next book in this series of books. I wanted to acting from book for a film maker. I liked the characters in the book very much too. I did also feel like in my head I could of gone Hunting with Kiren and Warden Egara to find Lindsey in American. I also have a friend called Lindsey in my life.

Really enjoyed this one! Great twist to The Colony saga. HOT connection between Lindsey and Kiel!!!
Loved that this heroine was a single mom - which opened the way for others to join the Interstellar Bride Program!! Although Lindsey was not part of the Bride program but Kiel's marked mate - as a true Everian match... interesting twist to the story!
Can't wait for more - really want to see the stories for more of the residents of The Colony!! They all deserve a HEA.
