I am currently read this devotion with my Women's Bible Study Group. It is a real eye opener and extremely convicting. I know God has a lot of work left to do on me in the area of contentment. We are reading two chapters a week so I will update how I like it as we continue. The author uses the Message and NLT versions of the Bible the most; which I do not care for. But I look up each verse listed anyway, so I get to see the versions I prefer and better understand.

This is for me, a study guide for growing into a contented woman of the Lord.In the world today, people want to get all the things that can make their lives comfortable and convenient. As a result,we accumulate so many things .There is now a thin line between being convenient and wanting more.Is it a need or just a want?Should I buy that coffee maker?(I did buy one, but I haven't used it yet) .Obviously I'm still growing in this area and thanks to this study guide I can figure out what I need to watch out - my speech, actions, thoughts etc. that may indicate my level of contentment.I can also share this to my faith partners so they can hold me accountable. It is exciting to learn!
