Let me just say that this went into the recycling instead of the donation pile, because I could not inflict this on anyone else.

The entire first chapter is snake oil salesman pap about curing cancer with herbs and essential oils. I'm not denying that good nutrition is key to good health or that many plants have amazing properties, but this was not remotely scientific.

I'm quite skeptical that the author is a medical doctor, because he seems unfamiliar with very basic tenets such as 'correlation is not causation' and consequently takes huge, flying leaps of logic and assumption instead of properly using research methods to test outcomes.

Just don't.
