I was turned off early in the book by what appears to be Hagee's neo-con bias. It's clear here that Hagee's agenda is to convince Americans that all Muslims are evil, Jews need our support, and God will bless those who bless Israel. I'm in agreement with Hagee that we should support the Jews, of course, but I don't think we should hate any group of people, just the sin itself. Jesus died for everyone. I don't partcularly like the Islamic religion from what I know of it, and I don't support Palestinian takeover of the Gaza strip and surrounding area. But Hagee seems especially critical at a time when we should be trying to lead people to salvation rather than pointing fingers.
Supposedly, England, France, Germany, Spain and other European countries were at one time against the Jews. Even Americans supported Muslims at one point. We ought to repent and support Israel, says Hagee. John Paul II and Pope Benedict actually apologized to the Jews. Some people see Christianity as a replacement religion, but God never broke or changed His covenant with Israel. Hagee claims the antichrist will come from Europe.
