Funny, sweet, and packed with heat, WHERE WE GO FROM HERE is a must-read small town romance!
Harper Ray cannot leave Los Angeles fast enough. If it wasn’t for the end to her first and only serious relationship then those glaringly obvious family issues would’ve done the trick. It’s a stroke of luck that her real-estate mogul mom could use an on-site supervisor at the Pine Hills renovation, because Harper is one-hundred percent in the market for a change of scenery... and it looks like she might be about to get more than she bargained for.
Mitchell Coleson has just got the biggest job of his career. He’s leading a full reno of Pine Hills and if the job is executed perfectly then the tycoons at the head of the small-town vacay-conglomerate will be set to permanently make him their go-to fixer-upper. There’s only one a big distraction has just checked in and she’s ready to make herself a full-time resident.

this had so much potential, especially in the beginning but it just went downhill. i just didn’t enjoy this, i didn’t like some of the things mitch was saying it gave me the ick, and whole thing about his son seemed so last minute and like an after thought. i felt the chemistry between harper and mitch in the beginning/middle and i really really enjoyed half of this book but i disliked the ending a lot
Honestly I have no idea what I just read, like what even happened. It was short and that’s what I was looking for to help with my book slump. So, I will give it that and bump it up from one star to two.
I am so excited to announce that Where We Go From Here is out now!
This is a sweet and spicy small town romance book that can be read as a standalone novel, or as book 3 in the Phoenix Falls series. I hope that you have lots of fun reading Harper and Mitch's gorgeous story! Lots of love, from Sapphire xxx
where even was the plot? The emotion? The character development? it felt like a book driven solely by lust & spice, when there was so much potential for something greater. if you’re into that though, you might really like this book.
Now I did DNF this book initially because I was lowkey put into a slump after reading the last two books in this series but then I picked it back up again and it ended up being a surprisingly okay read.
*SPOILERS-ish AHEAD*
The romance in this book was quite quick which was expected considering the last two books were insta-lovey as well, HOWEVER, unlike the last two guys, I saw KING behaviour from Mitchell in this book. (He did the bare minimum guys like looking after her whilst she was sick but after seeing Tate and Madden, this counts as a lot within the men in this series).
The scene at the end where Mitch confronts Harper's ex at a movie premier was probably the best part of the whole book to be honest. (quote from said scene below)
"You may have put one diamond on her finger but I've already put ten around her neck. She's had it better from me in two months than she had from you in two years. Ever heard the phrase 'put your money where your mouth is'? Where I'm from you either put up or shut up. It's time for you to the latter."
Like OKAYYYYY I was not familiar with your game Mitchell.
Overall, I only read this book because of Mitchell and liked it A LITTLE bit more than I thought I would. I would only recommend this book as a easy palette cleanser but nothing more than that.
3.5⭐️ Gotta say thanks booktok! I really liked this story, and I appreciated Mitch (he’s a hottie). Smut was smutting with this one, I liked that there was no 3 act unnecessary breakup but I would’ve loved to see more of her world and her relationship with her sister, the ending felt a bit rushed. The tension and the chemistry was there though! It’s a good book 📕💖
