Madison Westin has become adept at navigating Tarpon Cove’s sandy back streets and shady residents. If she’s not doing anything illegal, her hubby Creole doesn’t have to worry about her relationship with trouble.
Naturally, the one-time Madison’s kick-butt bestie, Fab, isn’t at her side, she steps right in the middle of a heaping pile of trouble that’s parked outside her storage business. Trouble that wears FBI badges, slaps handcuffs on, and talks about counterfeiting and forgery charges that could put her away for a very long time.
Between diverting unhappy customers, dealing with the usual antics at The Cottages, and wracking her brain about who’s the anonymous tipster who tried to send her to prison, Madison has her hands full—which could be a problem when trouble careens out of the past like a hurricane, and she needs to reach for her Glock.

Just Wow!
This author is unbelievable. I've read all 29 books. None lack for believable plot lines. Very entertaining and I feel like I know all the characters and was never bored. So sad when I finished the last one. I do not know how she kept coming up with the different ad ventures. Such an imagination. I will start one of you other series but lets see if this series can be topped. I got so mad at the Mother!

Exciting Round of Explosive Situations
I love this series! Each book goes by so quickly that it leaves me waiting impatiently for the next! Each book is complete with no cliffhangers. I suggest reading the series in order as the backstory is pertinent to the current events and it keeps building upon itself. The books have plenty of action and humor; the perfect blend.

Another keep you on your toes story!!
Deborah does a wonderful job with the characters in this series. I start reading and don't put it down till I finish. Madison , Creole, Fab, & Didder keep you smiling.

Fantastic adventure
In true Deborah Brown fashion, she's done it again. From page 1, you're on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. The girl's didn't disappoint. Looking forward to book 30.

Love the series. The pacing is excellent. Each book has a good balance of action, adventure and laughs. My one complaint is lack of character development. The only character development has been with Brad.

Noooo! I can’t believe I’ve reached the end of the latest book! I’ve been slowly dragging out finishing it because I hate waiting for the next one! I love Fab and Madison’s adventures! They are so fun and hilarious every book is amazing!

I love this series ! It's always a fresh interesting mystery. I adore the main characters and its nice that the old characters make an appearance from time to time. Enough that you aren't trying to figure out who they are. A well written series!

Has her writing gotten worse?
Or am I just noticing it now, as the word 'as' is used in practically every other sentence. This will be the last book of hers that I ever read, as I can't stand her annoying writing.

Disappointed
If the title has Retaliation, the book should be more focused on that storyline. The first books were entertaining, but the last couple have become tedious to read. Sorry but this is the last one I will read.

more proofing!!
Great series, but. Ms Brown needs a backup proof reader - and would someone please gift her with a book of synonyms. Every character in every book SMIRKS constantly! The word is so overused, I flinch every time I come across it!

Last in the series
The series is great, need to start with book 1. The ending was not what I expected but the series was really enjoyable and I loved the whacky characters!
