I’m not damaged. Who said an omega couldn’t scent match to another omega?
I never expected to share a room when I went to the ORA, but something about seeing her getting yelled at didn't sit right with me so I invited her to dorm...with me.
When the school decides we are damaged goods and separates us, nothing will stand in my way of getting her back. Not even the three men claiming I'm their scent match. Childhood friend be d*amned. If they want me, they have to take her too.
Two alphas, their beta, my omega and me. What could go wrong?
Author's Note: CW/TW will be updated before release :) This is a MMMFF omegaverse. There will be both MM and FF scenes. It can be read as a standalone within the series.
Hailing from eastern Pennsylvania, R.A. Alyse is a lover of books that feature spicy romance. Although she has a soft spot for why-choose and omegaverse, she has dabbled in a few other sub-genres within her writing. She strives to fill those books with love, spice, magic, and maybe even a knot or two.
R.A. Alyse enjoys searching out yard sales, going bowling or playing games with her kids, and reading in her free time. Her favorite color is purple (any shade!) and her favorite flower is a sunflower. If she isn't hunched over her keyboard, feverishly trying to get more books written, you will most likely find her hanging out with her family and their growing of number of pets.
This book started out ok, but it descended into chaos about halfway through. Chaotic writing, chaotic plot, chaotic worldbuilding.
Riley and Storm fall in love but are torn apart because their academy doesn't believe in Omega-Omega pairings. I'm left with questions: Do Omegas normally not engage in sexual activities while at the academy? That seems weird, since it's implied that Riley and Storm have had previous relationships and neither are virgins, but the only people that Omegas interact with at the Academy are other Omegas.
We learn that Riley's family is so poor that they can't afford a telephone or food. This is an extreme level of poverty that is never explained. Are a lot of people in this world poor like this? Why don't Riley and her brothers work?
In one of the most chaotic and coincidence-filled scenes ever to grace the pages of a book, Riley is in heat, her brother happens to be in a pack with the best friends of Storm's pack, so he calls them; her brother runs off to find her parents (where? I don't know... how many rooms does this house have? He's gone for like 20 minutes...); a random alpha shows up to kidnap Riley; but he's not random, he's Ryan's dad, who murdered Ryan's mom at some point after Ryan turned 18 but before now (so in the last 12-24 months?), went to prison, got released, set up a dungeon in his basement; he's going to force bond Riley even though the intro at the start of the book told us there were no forced bonds in this Omegaverse; Ryan's pack shows up, they all have sex (not Ryan's dad, who runs away maybe? or Riley's brother who gets kidnapped by his own pack).
This neighborhood is so poor that not even pizza can be delivered, so Storm and Riley go off in a Hummer to pick up pizza and get hit by another Hummer (I guess Hummer didn't go out of business in this alt-verse), and Riley gets kidnapped by Ryan's dad AGAIN. Storm gets help. How? I don't know. She was unconscious and bleeding from a head wound after the accident and she left the Hummer behind... did she walk back to Riley's house? Teleport? How does she even know her way around this place?
After the rescue, everyone bonds. Keep in mind that Riley has never had an actual conversation with this pack. She met them two minutes before her heat and got kidnapped 2 minutes after her heat. They all live happily ever after.
In the epilogue we learn that everyone in the academy got their just desserts, including that one random alpha who drove Riley home and who has been in prison for 10 years for assault... which leaves me with a lot of questions about the justice system in this world. We never find out what happens to Ryan's dad, who I'll remind you, served less than a year for murdering his wife and attacking his son.
We also never really find out anything much about Victor and Declan. They are twins who run a construction company. They are mysteriously uber rich. That is the sum total of their chatacters.
It was ok but it wasn't my favorite nor would I reread it. Idk it's like I was digging it then it felt rushed then at the end it felt unfinished. Also I never really got a clear picture of what the alphas looked like, all we were told really was about the fmcs and that the betas eye color was brown but never a hair color for the beta was mentioned. I'm rating it a 2.5 dropped to a 2. Also that epilogue literally 10yrs down the line was a let down -
***Spoiler coming next to *****
-cuz when you're writing a omegaverse I kinda expect at least 1 pregnancy at some point unless they're was mention of a fertility problem but that wasn't ever mentioned here.
Then after all this, the next book is one I will not read even if I wanted to because the simple fact it's Hillarys book and she caused enough shiit in this one and to know she'll be rileys brothers pack omega NOPE just no. I ain't ok with that at all I don't care about her history or the reason.

It was so fun to see the relationship between Riley and storm. However once it hit about 55% everything kinda just crashed and didn’t fully come together. I definitely think it was rushed to add the alphas, the kidnappings, the sudden change of attitude of the teachers towards Storm. Like you think with how wide eyed and accommodating they were to her they wouldn’t just toss her aside. Id understand Riley being kicked out but not storm since her family had a hold on the school.
Also the fact that Riley doesn’t have an opportunity to really get to know the pack and stuff makes no sense. Everything was smooshed together and like multiple chapters were just smut, there wasn’t much communication on what was okay (besides no biting), no safe words, etc. And when Riley bonded storm there wasn’t much description on how she grabbed her wrist to bite it, it just happened and that is it. There were a lot of scenes like that, which was very frustrating. I kept having to reread everything to see if I missed a scene.
I really loved the dynamic between the girls and I wish this was a duet so things weren’t as rushed and that they changed some scenes so they could’ve at least met the alphas and not go straight into “mine” and heats. All in all probably my favorite ff omegas, but the story itself could’ve been better. I think it needs some editing and should be republished when there’s more depth added to the male leads and other characters cause they should’ve stood out more.
Not sure about this one. I liked Riley and Storm, along with Drew and the rest of the family. There was a bit too much going on, jumping from expulsion to heat to kidnapping and only going back to the school situation in the epilogue. The guys felt like they were there to fill a quota. It felt like two separate relationships connected by scent match/ fate instead of any romantic chemistry. I would’ve been fine if it was just Riley and Storm. Curious about Drew and the way he was taken away.

I feel like that could have been 2-3 book.. Because the author tried to do to much , and it felt so rush and made no sense. Fx Ryan meeting Victor and Declan, and his whole past with storm, and what happend with his dad and mum, all of that could have been boom 1, because this book made it sense like we knew what happend, and when the dad show up, it seems so random, and then when they go out for pizza and the dad show up again, like how did he know? was he following them? nothing was explained and it just annoyed me so much, because it seems to much.
book 2 would be storm and riley meeting each and getting together.
book 3 would be all of them, because what do you mean, that after days of s*x , now you feel close enough to bond? 😑 forever, 🙅🏾♀️. It was to fast and made no sense, I understood riley and storms relationship, because we saw their friends and we saw how it evolved, but the 3 other guys 😒, that was done so bad 😐
WORTH THE READ! the dual omega trope is a new favorite and won’t disappoint!! there’s a few shitty situations that our girls get put into, as it seems happens in most all OV’s, but overall very sweet relationship between the two omegas and i loved everything about these two.
I see a lot of potential in this writer and in this series, especially early on with the book. it’s the first time i’ve seen two female omegas come together before the rest of the pack forms, and i have to say it’s certainly my new favorite trope. i’d like to have seen more detail written, and more concise viewpoints when certain situations are occurring******. the time jumps felt odd in the way they were described and in general some of the dialogue felt very cut and dry, especially the twins. i can see a lot of setup for cross overs and future characters, but again a lot of this felt rushed and very half developed. another 100 pages worth with just some more detail spread throughout and this would’ve been a 5/5.
as i said, sooooo much potential here. i can see some amazing things with this series and this author but, hence the 3 stars, just not quite there yet. i’ll certainly be following for the next few years to see the development.
****((((( spoiler xxxxxx for example the scene when riley and storm reunite out front and while everyone is dealing with their own weird reunions a few paces away, it’s written in a way that you might see a fanfic written. that whole scene felt odd to me especially the line “but when he looked over at us all he saw was me and her kissing” when i feel like at this point we should’ve been so wrapped up in pre-heat and a long awaited reunion all being told from one of the girls point of view, instead it feels all over the place jumping around to different conversations and verbal/nonverbal cues that the POV it’s written from probably should’ve have been seeing, if that makes sense?))))
Riley's Storm is the first book in the Choose Me Omegaverse series. Each book in the series can be read as a stand alone, however there is a lot of world and plot overlap. Reading the books in order will keep from stumbling upon past book spoilers, and make some scenes seem not so random.
There are so many things I loved about Riley's Storm, and a few things that bothered me. I am fairly new to reading Omegaverse books, but that has not kept me from noticing a common them amongst most of these books, a couple Alphas, one Omega, and a Beta go through some things and eventually form a pack and live happily ever after. The first thing I loved about Riley's Storm is that it did not follow this basic cookie cutter format, instead we get all sorts of beautiful chaos with people falling in love with whomever they wish, regardless of their designation, or their economic status. We also get a fresh view of how the designations should interact with each other. I enjoyed watching the chaos intermingle with a little bit of suspense and a lot of spice in the plot of this book. Once or twice, a plot twist did not make sense to me, or was left extremely open ended. I was not fond of the confusion this briefly caused. I have never fell in love with an Omega character faster than I did with Riley and Storm. Their complimenting personalities and ferocious chemistry is what made this book fantastic. Throw in gorgeous, open minded Alpha twins and an adorable Beta and you have a well rounded cast of characters. Overall I thought this book had an entertaining, slightly suspenseful and very spicy plot, with some confusing twists thrown in and fabulous, well rounded characters.
I LOVED Riley and Storm's relationship and how it slowly built up in the first half of the book. I did love the pack too, although Victor, his twin brother (I think Duncan was his name, but honestly I can't remember) and Ryan were also great. I just wish the readers could've had more build up of their threesome relationship before they were just kinda randomly introduced to Storm during Spring Break. And I did grow to connect more with them, but I still wish I could've had more background on them as a pack, how they met (not just told how they met, but actually "see" it), maybe flashbacks to them going on a few dates and when they decided to bond together in "real time"/on page. But overall, this book I stated this afternoon at about 2:30 pm when I was looking up Omegaverse books with two female omegas and this book popped up, I saw the cover and read the plot for the book, and my decision was sealed; ended up finishing the book at 2 am 😆❤️😜.
I would probably read this again even with some of my critiques about the book, plot, character building, relationship building, and I'm already checking out more of this author's books to read because I'm HOOKED!
Also can't BELIEVE that Hilary will be getting her own pack with a beta even though she hates them and thinks they're so beneath her 🙄. Hopefully she grows on me because I HATED how she treated everyone but especially sweet, vulnerable, Omega Riley 🥺.
i would consider it a fast paced book bc of how quickly they like each other, and how quickly the gang gets together
i really liked reading this book, but there’s something about the writing style that’s annoying, and i found myself criticizing the writing style more often than i would’ve liked, its something abt the dialogue that feels very weird and unflowing; maybe its me bc english is my second language 😂 but there were also some sintaxis problems with some paragraphs and phrases.
other than that, plot-wise, fast paced, the alphas are cool ig, not much is said abt them, and they dont even have the time to introduce themselves properly before its all a heat craze
the dad… idk… i didnt get that, idk where he came from, why he wanted her, like idk if i skipped a paragraph or a couple of pages but i never understood why the dad and why her 🤷🏽♀️ kinda throwing drama there for the sake of it 😂😂😂🤦🏽♀️
ryan is my fave character; im just a sucker for betas and seeing them belong and get shy and all that 🙈
but yea, that sneak peak of drew made me wanna skip time to read aaaaall abt him jejejeje
there are alot of spice scenes, read spicier but still, FF for the win! ❤️
its a good read! just needs a bit more polishing on the grammar and the flow of the book :)
This is the first book I’ve read in YEARS that is set in an Omegaverse and it’s a Why Choose, which is one of my favorite tropes. I saw this either on Booksta or it popped up in my email (I honestly don’t remember) and the idea of two Omega’s together was a new twist from anything I remember reading before, so I just had to check it out! Honestly, my favorite parts of this book revolve around Riley and Storm’s relationship. I love watching Riley come into herself as a stronger person with the help of Storm and her pack. I love how fiercely Storm loves and protects Riley. The FF part of this story is what really cinched it for me. That being said, I loved aspects of each Alpha, Victor and Declan, and Ryan the Beta. I would love to read a novella about the twins meeting Ryan. I bet that would be hot. I can’t wait for the next book because I feel like it will clear up a lot of things that I had questioned regarding what happened with Drew and his pack. I wish they had been released alongside each other! Anyways, I loved this and will be looking at the authors backlog and following this series as it comes out!
The beginning was so good, sweet and i love Riley & Storm (both female omega's). You can feel the connection on page. But the second half of the book there is some drama with school and we get to know Victor (Alpha), Declan (Alpha) & Ryan (Beta). In this story both omega's have a relation F/F and ther is also an M/M relationship between Declan & Ryan and between Victor and Ryan (Victor and Declan are brothers).
For me there is no group connection, when they meet ther second omega (Riley) she's going in to heat and ther is smex ;-) But there is no courting/dating and get to know each other...the ending is rushed. For me it would be an easy 4/5 star read if this story was longer and with more details and connection.
Fast and hot! I loved this book so much!! Our two leading ladies fall for each other first in an academy style setting, then due to circumstances beyond their control, are separated and have to fight their way back to each other - picking up some new loves along the way! Don’t worry though, the girls get to keep their love, the guys also get to keep their love, and all of our lovebirds find love together. Mm-mmm. FF and MM and FFMMM. The writing was excellent, and we get switching perspectives from all of our leads which was very compelling, the pacing was quick, and the steamy bits were oh so hot. I’m so excited to have found this excellent read and can’t wait for more from the author. Brava!
Riley receives a scholarship to a prestigious Omega school and finds herself rooming with Storm. Omegas are supposed to hate the scent of other Oemgas, but she finds herself drawn to her new friend. And she's not the only one. Two Alphas discover that Storm is their scent match. The school tries to tear them apart, but can they form a pack with the Alphas and their Beta?
Read if you like: -Omegaverse -Why Choose -MMFFM Poly Pack -FF Friends to Lovers -MF Childhood Friends to Lovers
I'm obsessed with this book! OMG! Starts out sweet, wholesome, and fluffy and finishes with an amazingly smutty sequence that leads to the official forming of a ploy pack. I loved every second of it. A must read if you like omegaverse!
I really wanted to love this—I enjoyed the FF Omegaverse dynamic—but it felt like I was reading a summary of a book rather than a complete story. It almost seemed like there was a book one that I had somehow missed.
I’m not a fan of OW/OM drama, but beyond that, a lot of things just didn’t add up. Riley and Storm were clearly not new to intimacy, yet neither ever mentioned a former partner or past experiences. Was Ryan Storm’s ex? And what about the twins? I felt like I knew nothing about them.
There were too many missing details, and the pacing felt rushed. I ended up stopping when the heat plot was suddenly introduced out of nowhere—it just felt like too much was happening at once without enough explanation.
Riley has finally seen sent to learn as an Omega. But there is something about her room mate Storm that draws here. Omegas aren't meant to scent match with each other, but this feels like that. When they are torn apart for being different, can Storm and the pack that has fallen for her find Riley again?
R.A. Alyse does an amazing job at creating an omega world. You cannot help to fall madly in-love with the characters and get wrapped up in their story. LOVED this book and cannot wait for more in this series.
I’ve only read a few omegaverse books in the past and wasn’t really a fan but was beyond impressed with this one. There is great character development, a plot that isn’t cliche or predictable and the spice is on point. The author built this world with obvious intent for more books and there are plenty of detailed sprinkled throughout to entice the reader (even in characters she makes you hate). I cannot wait to see where she takes this world!!!
This was an amazing omegaverse! There were subtle differences in this world that I haven't seen before that made this world it's own. Riley and Storm made this book an original (and fantastic!!) Twist on omega relationships as well as why chooses. It's not often you find a why choose with 2 FMCs. This is also the first omegaverse I've seen that has 2 omegas in one pack. The spice is extra steamy and the plot twists are stomach churning.....in the best way!
I enjoyed reading this book so much. I’ve just gotten into reading OV this year and have been obsessed. I love that this book is different! The whole story line was great, the different relationships between the pack members was written so well! I loved the overall story line and how everyone came together and they all fit together as a pack. It’s a book I would definitely reread!
This was freaking fantastic. I am absolutely obsessed with Omegaverse. And this book didn't let me down. Storm is fierce and strong and protects Riley with a viciousness that no omega should have towards another omega. Because omegas aren't meant to be scent matched to each other right?! It is an Omegas job to find a pack of alphas and betas only. But when Riley and Storm realise they are scent matched to each other, their whole world is torn apart.
I love omegaverse books. This one was so amazing. I beta read it and it was so good. So excited to see it’s finally here!! this story played with my emotions I really got into the book and how the characters were feeling and just everything. The story was great and I just want to read more about their story!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75|🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ This book was very detailed and easy to follow. I’ve never read a book that had FF in it and I can honestly say this one was well written. There was amazing character development and I can’t wait to read Drew’s book next. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 💖
I really loved the premise of this book, and honestly the first half was great... the second not so much. If the whole book was as good as the first part this would be five stars, but the second part was so bad that there was no way to even justify four stars. So just be warned (especially if this is not your first omegaverse book)
3.5 stars 🫶🏻 Storyline? Loved it! Loved the characters, as well. Could’ve used more editing for sure but it was still good. Super spicy with FF content which is rare in omegaverse books, and this one is omega (F) x omega (F) plus normal dude alphas. I’ve been looking for a FF double omega omegaverse book since I started reading them and this was the first I found!
Loved this book! It was a great Bi representation in an omegaverse. Also loved that there were two omegas in love. Felt it was different than other omegaverse books. It was great for her first omegaverse.

I actually enjoy the book. However, towards the end, it felt rushed, and there was a lack of emotional development between the omega and alpha. I don't really like FF relationships, but it was so well done that I actually enjoyed reading about it.
I love Omegaverses and loved this one even more with FF representation! I think the characters were well written and I there were times that the banter made me giggle. Can’t wait to read more by this autho.
DESTINED OMEGA FATE R.A. Alyse has created an intricate contemporary fantasy world where love and acceptance shine. Intertwining various themes where character development and polyamorous relationships are intrinsic and explore a deep, sizzling chemistry, the plot and twists will keep you holding on till the very end. Riley's Storm celebrates love in all its forms and is a must-read for fans of inclusive and boundary-pushing romance.
It drove me crazy how little, if ever the omegas and beta got to come into their own and have a strong character moment. The alphas and writer just treated them like they needed to be babied.
Story 3.75⭐️ Spice 3.25🌶️ There is a lot going on in the second half of the book and it moves extremely quickly through it all leaving some issues unresolved. I also feel cheated out of getting to see Riley fall for her pack.
An mmmff book with 2 female omegas. Was wonderful. Low angst but with plenty of action. Was wonderful to see that the world evolved around them instead of the world owning them. Fab read
