7AF7A: Gallium: Seven Abductees for Seven Aliens

Rate this book
7 Gallium
Book 2 of the Seven Abductees for Seven Aliens series.

Gallium, the youngest of seven amphibleon alien brothers, has always been babied. Coddled. Treated like he can't make his own choices. From the moment he sees the terrified human in the restaurant kitchen, his frustrated complacency begins to change.

What was shouldn't be and what could be must be.

Ayaka, an abductee rescued from certain doom, knows one thing for certain; the blue alien carrying her away? Fate brought them together and he is hers. What happens when Meela, eldest of the abductees and de facto leader of them all, doesn't agree?

There is one rule.

NO MINGLING .

Of course, that rule is immediately broken. But kissing in the pantry and touching in the dark gets old real fast.

How can the youngest on Haven make their choice when everyone is against them?

Gallium is the second book in the eight book series of Seven Abductees falling in love with Seven Aliens.

I still have questions lol

I don't think these human women realize that these guys are half human. From what Meela said I think she thinks pregnancy isn't an option. But, considering she's napping all the time maybe they ought to check that med kit for a test. Or replicate one? Which, ok, what if they all can have kids? Then you have a whole bunch of cousins running around this small planet, right? Back to the original problem, plus a new one: they're still considered abominations and now there's a whole passel of ones to grow up mateless. Oh, and would girls be like their female ancestors - coral like? Because I'm still not sure how Haven has water. It's a geode, not a true planet. There doesn't seem to be a weather system. The animals all eat each other, so they're getting liquid from their food but what do the showers run on? Is it self cycling/cleansing water systems? Do they bring in barrels when they trade yearly? This is a very character driven series but I'm craving some world building badly. If there's only the 1 kind of sparse berry plant what formed the atmosphere? Was it farmed in by their parents? Are they going to try to fix the ship? Because they keep saying they can leave after the pass.opens up again but if nothing can get in there and they can't get out... Yeah, I have so many questions lol.

I enjoyed Atom and Meela so much that I jumped straight into this one and was not disappointed! This was such a cozy read and took me back to the feeling of being a lovestruck teenager.

One thing I will say is that I got bummed out with how much everyone was ragging on Meela. Maybe it's just because I am also in my 30's and the MCs are both 19, but whenever she was laying down the rules, I was just "...well, she's right!", especially when the brothers basically forced their way back in.

I was really expecting that her objections were going to be less on her own heart break and include the issue of, you know, BIRTH CONTROL. She seems so sensible and it seems like the sort of thing she should have addressed more directly. At the end when she mentioned it in passing, I wanted to yell, "NO MEELA, TALK TO THEM PLEASE!"

I really hope the author continues with this series. These were the first books in a long time that interfered with my sleep since I just wanted to keep reading. And I really hope they have "the talk" before they all have to flee the planet with 7 babies in tow.

Gallium & Ayaka <3

This was sooo sweet! Although a slow burn this is also a quick read and there are still some spicyish scenes mixed in. This has a lot of innocence, and it just makes my heart gooey after all that these characters have been through. There was one character that I wanted to shake and hug simultaneously. I love this series and cannot wait to see where it goes next. I have never watched 7BF7B, but apparently this follows really close. I just feel like this relationship was just the perfect intro to the planet life. Cuteness and warm fuzzies OVERLOAD.

7 for 7

These books were based on the seven brides for seven brothers. I am hoping there will be more books written in this series. The first was about the eldest brother and the second book is about the youngest. I really like these stories. This author has a great imagination to switch from the human experience to the alien one. I love this series and will look forward to reading the rest of the books.
