C.J. Cala is an author who favors the realm of the fairies, making much of his work a mystic mystery to most as he gropes blindly before the veil, grasping at the grail, attempting to touch the gate of Tannhäuser.
What is this book? It is a collection of short essays by C. J. Cala. Who is C. J. Cala? I know him from his youtube channel where he talks about philosophy, mainly connecting esotericism with accelerationism, he also writes poetry. Would I recommend this little book of his? I would sooner recommend his youtube videos. The essays are really just trains of thought dealing with a certain issue and connecting various authors and works to explain the issue or just to find the common ground between them. This is what the youtube videos are as well, in fact these are mostly just the author's scripts put together. It is much easier to consume this content in bite sized pieces and with visual representations accompanying them. Otherwise it is easy to get lost in all the references, whether fictional or theoretical, which make the bulk of the content. It is definitely something that is easier to vibe with than to understand which might frustrate some readers, they might just come away from this with a list of names and titles, but it makes sense considering Cala also writes poetry (much of which he describes as dadaist). The author said in a video he made this book to make his ideas more clear, but I'm not sure he succeeded. So check out C. J. Cala's youtube channel and if you like it, pick this up to revisit the videos and support him.
