Following the death of their friend Wendy and her father, four friends are left to deal with their grief. Wendy's mother was the only one who survived the car accident. All the kids in the neighborhood used to hang out at Wendy's place. Now, no one comes around anymore.

Then, they start to see Wendy again! It seems like Wendy is back to remind them what they used to be. Wendy is angry and her Mother feels deserted too.

I liked this book more than the first but also found it to be not very memorable. I can see why this series fizzled out after 4 books.
