The world build by Jordyn is so vast and in depth, it’s so easy to get lost into. While this book had A LOT of information, it flowed. You could tell that significant amounts of time had passed in between trials and tribulations which helps to understand and process just how much happens.
Haleth is one of the best supporting characters I’ve ever read in fantasy; he’s quirky, witty, and overall a well rounded character. What he did to Nikolai was shocking but well deserved. I swear to the gods if he isn’t spared from what was expected of him, I will riot. I will protect him with my life and if he dies I will kill everyone and then myself. I absolutely can’t wait to read more about him in the next installment.
The torture that Aklys endured was gut wrenching and heart breaking. I hoped he could overcome the darkness that took him but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
I’m such a Maxim slut and Jordyn DELIVERED. Chapter 15 & 21 were STEAMY and everything I hoped for. I belong to the Maxim supremacy, i don’t even care.
Her creation of villains, stories of pain, and slivers of hope kept me on the edge of my seat. Well worth the wait from book one. I’ll be thinking of this story and these characters for a long time.

Wowwww
I am absolutely in love with this series. Jordyn has created such a beautiful world in these books, the characters are so well written and all of them have such a depth that allows for you to really understand their complicated, human emotions. So much happened in this book, but it flowed effortlessly and it was easy to get sucked in. I swear this series has ripped out my heart and stamped on it, picked it up and caressed it just to throw it against a wall and shatter it. I cannot wait to read the prequel and the remaining books in this series.
We follow Celessa's journey after the rollercoaster of events that was Cursed is the blood. I am in awe at how well Celessa is written. She is a very complicated being with real varying emotions and I swear she cannot catch a break. I thoroughly enjoyed watching her grow and battle with her dreams of revenge. My favourite thing about Jorydns writing is that it is not all sunshine and rainbows, she has weaved some very real problems and experiences into this fantasy world and it is refreshing to say the least.
I loved the POV's that we were given in this book, it really showed you the different sides of the story without taking away from Celessa's story. Also loving the new friendships and the spice I absolutely devoured. The spice scenes are a perfect balance in the story and I love how Jordyn writes them.
This is for sure my favourite series and author, I cannot wait to devour the rest of Jordyn's books and I look forward to seeing Jordyn get the recognition she deserves.

I enjoyed the sequel to Cursed is the Blood just as much as the I enjoyed the first book! I appreciated the brief recap of major events from the previous book as I began reading WITR. I had a clear understanding of the plot and what the characters were trying to achieve. The rising action of major points in the story was exciting. Author did an excellent job again with showcasing each character’s unique personality and motives, and of course teasing new and old romantic relationships. I am excited for the third book as this book left off on a major cliffhanger, and I have so many questions to be answered by the next installment of Celessa’s story, as well as the origin stories of other major characters. I enjoy Jordyn’s writing style, and I love any author who can paint a clear picture of the events in my head, totally engrossing me in the story.

When I first started following Celessa in Cursed Is The Blood, I thought I had loved the story and characters then. But Jordyn has done it again! Wicked is the Reign follows Celessa's journey where we meet some interesting new characters, plot twists aplenty, and a love for a new character as they follow along in Celessas trials and tribulations. She sure is put through it in this one and I can't wait to see where her journey takes her next!

I don't know how to rate this actually. It was better than the first book. But the conclusion was not a conclusion. Is there a third book coming? What's happening? Did I miss something? I have more questions than answers at this point.

Many times, throughout this story, I thought I knew how it'd play out, then would soon discover I was completely wrong.
So much happened in this book. Celessa's life was turned upside down many times. It really seems like she'll never catch a break.
We met new people as she travelled from place to place, and uncovered more truths about her world. There were also chapters from other points of view, which I always enjoy.
I'm loving this series, the characters and the world, and can't wait to read more. The ending was intriguing, and I'm excited to see where the story goes from there.

Book two is insane! Their journey was insane! What they faced was insane! I have no words for how incredible this book was from start to finish! Seeing how the characters evolved from start to finish, was crazy! Thank you so much for allowing me to be one of your betas for this book! I’m so glad to have been a part of it from start to finish, and I loved being able to read it from start to finish! I cannot wait for the next one!

Wow what can I say? Jordyn creates beautiful, yet treacherous worlds, with characters that grow and develop throughout. This is an author that can take over my world with her cleverly scripted words whereby I am literally living the story she has created. An amazing second book in the series and I truly cannot wait to see where she will take us next.

Continues on from "Cursed is the Blood" and it flows together perfectly. The details are exceptional! Makes you feel as if you're in the scenario that is playing out. Its mesmerizing and makes you wanting more. Something for everyone of all readers.

I couldn’t stop reading.
