The illustrations are cute -- book is a little lame. And I'm definitely starting to question zoos, so the idea of the zoo and the zookeeper and romanticizing the whole thing . . . I don't now. I like the illustrations though.

Classic story that my son loves even today! The rhythm and rhyme are fantastic!
