A nice little book about different kinds of penguins. My wife uses this with her preschoolers every year. There's enough meat here for my fourth graders to be able to use the nonfiction text elements to search for information. This book also employs transparent pages throughout with penguins printed on them. When the pages are turned, more text is discovered on the next page. It's an interesting technique.

I learned a lot about penguins from this book. I especially liked how it covered so many different things about penguins but wasn't too long. It was like a miniature version of the encyclopedias they put out. I'll look for more of these.
