"I, Madeline Clark, rejec..." I started speaking, but Alpha Dimitri stopped me by placing his hand over my mouth. He pulled me closer to him and growled.
"I'm not accepting your rejection, Madeline," he growled. "You are my mate. You are the greatest gift that the Goddess has ever given me. I am not letting you go."
My heart was hammering against my rib cage. His scent overwhelmed my senses. He leaned in and rubbed his nose up and down my jaw. My skin was on fire. Every part of my body desired to be touched by him.
"I can't let you go, my love," he mumbled. "I've waited for you my whole life."
His lips brushed against the marking spot on my neck, and I almost burst into flames. Convincing him to accept my rejection would be the hardest thing I ever had to do.
Madeline is a 17-year-old girl who still hasn't shifted into her wolf. Her father abandoned her mother when she was very young. She has been bullied and laughed at all the time. After she lost her mom, the person who loved her the most, Madeline is completely distraught and broken. Her father comes back to take her back to his pack. Madeline is against it, but her financial situation forces her to go with him.
Dimitri is a Lycan wolf, the Alpha of his very successful pack. He is 22 years old, and he still hasn't found his mate. When Madeline arrives at his pack, he is very surprised to discover that she is his mate. He is also frustrated because she is his stepsister who hasn't shifted yet. She can't recognize him as her mate.
Madeline struggles in the new pack. She doesn't have the best relationship with her stepmother. She can't wait to turn 18 and leave.
What will happen when Madeline finds out who her mate is? What will Dimitri do after she rejects him? Will he be able to convince her to stay? This is book 2 of the story.
I don’t know how to describe my feelings about this book series so far. I’m calling it “good bad” because it’s so bad it’s good? But also I literally devoured these books. The story is cute (a bit repetitive) but honestly they are really low stakes, stress free reading. Like a palette cleanser.
There are lots of typos and wording errors. But like I said, they are stress free reads and I kept thinking about what I did and didn’t like about the characters. I would honestly probably re read to pass the time. So I would say, don’t go into this book series with super high expectations. Just enjoy them for what they are :)
I got sucked into an Instagram ad and I’m not even mad about it…
I wouldn’t say this series is great but it’s like a good bad? There could absolutely be improvements but I loved the characters and I always love the tortured FMC in these sort of stories.
There were points where the plot just came to a screeching halt for the sake of spice so the three books that are currently out could has easily been condensed into 2. Im a girl who loves the spice so when I say that I do genuinely mean it, I don’t know how they got anything done lol.
This series is currently incomplete but it was speculated by other readers recently that the story should continue on in December of 2023 possibly? Im disappointed with the lack of information and updates through the reading app but it does not affect my emotions toward this book from a review aspect.
It seems like we are continuing with the mumbling (111 times this time), while also adding gulping (59 times) to the list. Has no one ever heard of a thesaurus before? A lot of the mumbling didn't make sense anyway. There were a few misspelt words as well as some incomplete sentences or even words missing from sentences as well.
All that aside, it's still repetitive as all fuck, and the story goes nowhere fast because it's just repeating the same things over and over again. Much like her True Luna series a lot of it could've been cut out and probably all merged into one book.
The fact that Dimitri got mad at her when she joked that maybe she had sex already was fucken stupid. He fucked Savannah. It might have originally been a one night drunken stand (at the beginning of the last book), but by the end of the last book you know he slept with her more than once. So does he really have a right to say anything?
The fact that no one was guarding Maddie when Janet and Savannah showed up kinda pissed me off. Dimitri is adamant about his love for her and that she's the most important person in his life and yet... despite knowing his mother's distain for her and the fact that he hasn't marked her yet (who knows why at this point), and he's constantly worried for her safety, he leaves her alone? Great job there, Buddy. Also wasn't Savannah in jail? The inconsistency in this series, I swear....
The whole reveal about him being the kid who rescued her when she was younger would've been sweet had he not fucked another woman. The only thing it did was make his fucking Savannah all that worse.
One thing plaguing my mind is that with all these inconsistencies, and repetitive patterns is that the author decided to use AI along the way. I'm not saying she did, but it's kinda becoming hard to not think that, especially after the Oscar/Oliver issue. Either Tessa couldn't decide if the doctor's name should be Oscar or Oliver or it was AI. Either way, it wasn't a step in the right direction here. I honestly thought that there were two people in the room with them but it was just the doctor that kept switching names.

Usually I give 5⭐️ if the book is well-written, fun, not a draged and it is easy to read it.
This book will get only 3⭐️ because it is not very well-written. Its hard to read it because it lacks some marks (example if the have a mind reading/linking, just add “” or something that will give the reader better understanding is it a conversation, mind linking, wolf talk…) something to separate the text. Also some chapters end without proper words or . It’s sloppy.
The story itself is good but it is a drag. Too much same thing over and over. I started to skip a lot of the text. Maybe little bit naive also.
The humour is fun and good but this 3 book series could be easily 2 books tops.
At least this book had some spice in it but not too much 2/🌶️ (the first one had none).
I don’t know if I will read the 3 book. I don’t know…
I couldn't get enough of this series! I'm so gutted the 4th book isn't out yet as we were left on an amazing cliffhanger that inwish I didn't have to wait to know what happens in the end but, this was my first Omega verse book/series I read and they had me hooked from the start of the first book. I love the characters and I love the plot here. I definitely a re-read it in the future once the 4th book is out.
I am in love with Dimetri and Maddie I love that they gave it a shot and I even chuckle when there friends came close after they marked each other Will is the best friend ever and his sister I think will be a great match for maddie and I really cheered loud and made my co workers laugh when her dad told off the step mom That witch and Savannah need to be punished also the one council member. Really cant wait for the last book
This story seems to have a good plot line. The premise is interesting and noteworthy. However, the overuse of certain words, such as "gulps, gulping, gulped," etc. made me put the book down and give up on it. I cannot believe the cost of a book that was obviously edited by a 3rd grader.
The story is not so bad. Dimitri and Maddie finally found each other as mates. I love them as a couple, but sometimes I find Dimitri's possessiveness over Maddie is overbearing. I liked the writing style, the thrill and the enigma surrounding Maddie's character. Now on to the third book...
This book is quite the conundrum. I really like the premise and it has the potential to be a great series. The writing needs work. The characters need work. I am interested enough to keep reading because I want to see what happens.
Is it Oliver or Oscar? Come on now. The editing on an amazon book should be better! The names get twisted several times and is effing confusing! That's all. I still love it 😉😝
If you can overlook some spelling errors. This book is a great read. It's very light on the smut but has a good plot line. There is a cliffhanger hoping for another book soon.
Loved the story, it was well done now just need to know when number three will be out so I can find out what happens next, can't wait to see the shock on everyone's face when little Maddie shows her true self a lycan queen.
There is a good storyline but I found it was nauseating how many times they needed to say I love you or use the word “fucking” in almost every sentence. It needs more substance. In some ways it was prolonged with no meaningful sentences .
Kindel is new to me. I have always bought actual books before. But I have found this new subject that I really like it's the werewolves you know LOL. I really like this author.
I like the story line but the constant “I love him so much” “she is my heart outside my body” talk is annoying. It is constant and it’s the same thing over and over.
As shitty as always. I think I’ve gotten myself half way out of the reading ditch. Should I go for another shit-tastic FB novel or should I try my luck with a normal book?
I think this book had even more grammar issues than the first one. At one point in the book, the author messes up the main male characters name. However, it was a nice continuation. It didn't spark enough interest for me to rush to read the third one. Still not sure if I will.
