A fun fluffy palate cleanser from my usual horror reads! 💖
The sagas of our Merivale cast of characters continue, with Danielle (a perfect stand-in for Lila Fowler from Sweet Valley High) being our poor little rich girl. She can't seem to get her spending under control...I MEAN, how can she refuse to buy those turquoise leather pants from Faćades in the mall?! Meanwhile, her mean girl rich bitch gal pals are pressuring her to buy buy buy ("What are you, poor or something?") and her dad is yelling about cutting off her entire allowance. Quelle horreur!!
Meanwhile, Danielle's "poor" cousin Lori, who works at Tio's Tacos at the mall, is saving every last penny and working overtime to get the used car of her dreams, an old red Triumph Spitfire for $1,500 (UMMM SIGN ME UP TOO!?) And guess who is about to hit her up for a quick $$ loan to offset her out of control credit card bill? 🤣
Fun and cute, with some mall exposition, I'll look forward to reading #3 💖
