Awe inspiring photography. As something of a photographer, and a traveller, this book was ideal. The descriptions of the images while not overly long, made me want to book a flight with every turn of a page.
if you want to see the beauty of America and are interested in a little more than the usual tourist stops, this book is highly recommended.
Beautiful pictures, breathtaking, actually. I haven't been to most of these places, but a lot of my family has, and these photographs are just amazing. The shots from angles that everyday person cannot get.
If you want a book about the beauty of our nation, and the awe inspiring wonder of it all, get this book. Pick it up whenever you need a pick me up in spirit.
Stunner photos, not much info, but I still gave it four stars because it's a place to start if you want to go looking for literature on some of the places, and also mentions films that used the locale. So although there's not a lot of info, it had some information I didn't find other places and was looking for.
Got this book for free at an educational conference a couple years ago and had thumbed thru it from time to time but never sat down and really read all the entries until recently. Stunning photography and deliciously enticing descriptions... Let's just say I added several places to my travel bucket list! #wanderlust
