What a goodreads win! I really only needed to read the parts that fit me but I read the whole book. Walking away when I finished I realized that there are parts and things that helped me. I had to have an MRI and after it, it dawned on me I put some of Larens ideas to use. It was over before I knew it even thought it only took 15-20 minutes.
This book explores Stress Personalities and gives insight to the science of stress personality development and how the body, naturally, responds to stress. This book is funny, insightful, and full of great inspirational nuggets. I learned so much about my own stress personality and strategies to help in moments when my stress personality wants to take over in a negative way.
I feel seen! I loved Lauren’s voice coming through in the pages. This isn’t a stuffy, self help book. There is real science backed information and insights to how we all deal with stress. It’s real life. I am looking forward to going back through the book and working through my stress personality.
Good book, it could have been half the length and accomplished same messages. Appreciated her humor writing about things that can be tough to look at in yourself. The resets, for the most part, weren’t new; however I really liked the journaling prompts she provided.
This book takes on different types of people and how to better handle those personalities. Really liked the science support but would have liked more of that to back the information.
This book is life altering! Incredible tools, very well laid out & presented, so timely for the increasing complexities of our times. Bought the ebook so I could constantly refer to it!
