I bought this cookbook when I was living all by my lonesome, and in those eighteen months I think I used it twice. That's because I hardly ever took the time to cook. The recipes are appealing and I love the little tidbits of advice for buying and storing and prepping and cooking for just one person. The book's one major drawback is that there are no photos or illustrations of the recipes. Most of the recipes are classics cut to one or two servings, so maybe the author/publishers didn't think they needed any photos. Over all, it's great for people that want good homecooked meals, but don't want to be eating the leftovers for a week.
