In Mancanzano, two naked teenagers are found dead. Their lithe young bodies are perfect except for the mysterious lacerations which ravage their faces. Four experts arrive to investigate the breathtaking frescoes discovered with the corpses. But then, another adolescent couple is found, and then another, and the team are forbidden to leave.
Not so astonishing as weird, not so mysterious as confusing, not so revealing a community as following a narrator, but this story does have some interesting erotic moments. Of course, this first novel needs better editing as there are way too many words.
