Hidden from view of the world The Firm has set up its headquarters in an ancient castle and the jungle reclaimed grounds around it until a chance reconnaissance photo ends up at the offices of the Drugs Investigation Agency and an Operative is sent out to investigate. Following the leads left by the previous, now deceased, investigating Agent takes DIA Operative Swaine to Hong Kong and from there into the depths of a Chinese jungle.
Parachutes in the night, intercepted radio messages, and missing guards result in The Firm’s headsman and enforcer Simon-Pierre DuCard being recalled to the castle to fix the problem in time for an important buyers meeting. This culminates in a head on clashes between Swaine and DuCard.
