Back Cover Blurb:

Sixteen-year-old Cooper Ellis has everything a high school girl could want: two terrific best friends, an exciting life in Manhattan, and a chance at being a model after she's discovered by a top agency. But just as she thinks things couldn't get better, her life changes again--for the worse.

Best friends Claire and Alex practically disappear from Cooper's daily scene as they begin to hang out with other people, and she begins to question the worth of her new modeling career, which doesn't seem to be going anywhere. To muddle matters further, a vicious rumor spread by a jealous classmate has the entire school convinced Cooper's lost her mind!

Cooper is beside herself as she tries to find a way out of the whole mess. Change may be inevitable, but is it always this miserable?

My Review: This is the first book in a series of four, all very short. Cooper and her friends Alex and Claire are unique, likable characters.

My thoughts on the entire series can be read here.

I gave this book 4 stars because I just started reading this series and had to get used to it. Cooper, Claire, and Alex are all best friends. Then Jana according to Cooper is taking away her friends. Then one day Cooper gets a job at a modeling agency. Her dad talked to her about Jana and said maybe she just needs a true friend like you. They became friends, but then Jana turned her back on her. So then for now the friendship is over. But Cooper got her best friends back and added a new one. So her life is pretty good for now. All in all this book was great.
