Danger grows and threatens the entire world. Following the nuclear war, Austin Martin struggles to adjust to his new role on the tiny Alaskan island. He receives good news about his family, but it triggers dissent and confrontation in the community. Will he be able to unite the group, or will he need to leave? And what will Sierra Forester do when he makes his decision?
Meanwhile, Russian Major General Ivan Orlov returns to work in Siberia. His country has suffered terribly from the war, but its military remains strong. Leaders gather to debate securing Alaska now, or moving into the Middle East while the global balance of power is unstable. Which direction will they go?
In Israel, Wu Ying is arrested for allegedly providing false information on his application for asylum. Will he be able to negotiate his freedom, or will he be jailed – or worse, sent back to China?
Read THE GAZELLE, the fifth book in the thrilling Mystery Babylon series, to find out!
Jamie Lee Grey is the author of numerous Christian novels, including the Band of Believers series, the Daughter of Babylon series, the Tribulation series and the Mystery Babylon series. She and her husband live in the northwestern United States.
Oh my goodness! I could not wait to get started listening to book number five. I just had to find out how each character faired. There is so much happening I didn’t want to miss a thing. Will all these characters make it out alive? This story will keep your heart beating fast and keep you on the edge of your seat (as if you can be the one to help them). The end times scenario will sure get you thinking and searching and digging in the Bible. I know I want to read Revelation again and again. If you like apocalyptic thrillers I recommend this book. I didn’t even know I liked books like this but I am absolutely loving these books. Thanks to a different narrator than the one that reads this series thought I might enjoy. I received the audio code from her but was not required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.
Austin and Sierra are trying to pull their little island town together , and the rest of the world hurries to pick up the pieces of the nuclear war. Jamie lee Grey once again captivates her readers and brings them to stand shoulder to shoulder with each of her characters as real life Bible prophecy comes to life. Read this book , its brilliant . Read the four Mystery Babylon books first then strap In for this incredible ride. Jamie Lee Grey is amazingly gifted and has shared with us the very words that we need to hear for such a time as this .
I have read many books and series by Jamie Lee Grey, and they are all excellent! I highly recommend starting with the first book in the series because each book builds on another.
One thing I really appreciate about Jamie's writing is her careful attention to biblical details! For me that is very important. Some Christian authors, while writing enjoyable stories, only give lip service to the Scriptures. But it is plain to me that Jamie's inspiration for her storylines are from the prophetic portions of the Bible.
The Gazelle is a great story with great characters. Suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat and you find yourself praying for the safety of Wu Ying, his friends, Austin, Sierra, all the Island people and Ivan’s family.
You will also find yourself praying that Ivan accepts Jesus before it’s too late. This story could almost be ripped from the headlines with the current war in Israel. As always, Jamie Lee Grey has done an amazing job on this post apocalyptic thriller.
I have been enjoying this series very much. This has probably been my favourite so far. First of all, I appreciate the proof reading, I can't remember a single mistake and this kept a smooth flow. I liked the story progression from three sets of characters in three locations, but the same time frame. I can't wait to read the next instalment, it has finished on a real cliff hangar.
Gog and Magog war is over, how close will the Rapture be? Perhaps next book? Maybe we will see more happening in Israel after affects of the war (7 year clean-up) will many Jewish people finally open their eyes to GOD'S grace in their behalf, taking out their foe's before they could continue to do anything on their own? Can't wait for the next installment, at least some of the characters have met their end..............Rosh has yet to see the end of their problems. Hurry Jamie, we want book 6 asap.
This series had me hooked from the beginning. Each book leaves me wanting to know what will happen next to this diverse group of characters who are experiencing these events from not only very different perspectives but also from destinations around the world from one another. Very good books, and very well constructed.
I have read all of her mystery Babylon series now and would highly recommend them. It's like reading a daily newspaper or listening to a Good podcast of the many dangers we face both as Christians and Americans. We need to wake up and pray for God's protection over us.
I loved this whole series so far. This book is great ! I can't wait for the next book. Great characters, strong faith based edge of your seat situations and suspense .Don't miss this series !
This has been a very good series, so far. I usually read books written by author Jamie Grey, because they have relatable characters and an interesting story line. Highly recommended
This book is bringing the several threads closer together. Jamie is detailing a fascinating idea about mystery Babylon in this story as well. No spoiler reveals, so read volume 5.
Greed doesn't win out in the words of the Lord. They were celebrating before the war was won. They wanted all accolades. This war was strictly for advancing ones own agenda and seeing the rewards and status of ones place in the higherarky.
This series has been suspenseful throughout! I’ve enjoyed it because it does not promote one end time theory over another. I have a hard time with “rapture” books because I disagree with them theologically so Jamie’s take on end times is accurate and exciting.
Based on Hebrew prophesy, the author has woven quite a frightening story about how God saves Israel in the End Times.Hint: the USA doesn’t share the same glorious end.
Is fictional reality a thing? As I have read all the books in this series so far, I think it might just be. Having read the good book as well, this book, and the series, hits home with me. As much as it scares me, it also brings me peace. I’m ready what for what will come.
This series is very well written with interesting characters in a variety of settings. Given the world situation it seems all the more conceivable. I'm starting book 6 of the series.
Book 5 in this series... preparations are getting ready for the return of the Messiah. They good reading. I'm enjoying this series. Now on to book 6 The Temple.
This story wasn’t as good as others in this series. But it is interesting to read dystopia novels with a Christian perspective. And this one made several Biblical references and predictions, that I found myself doing a lot of research.
great story. great scripture perfectly woven into the story. The characters are well developed and interesting. Great dialogue, which is often hard to accomplish, but not a problem for this author.
This is book five of a very exciting series. I can't wait for the last one to come out. Jamie Lee Grey does a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life in a challenging world. Very thought provoking and suspenseful. Don't pick up the book if you want to go right to sleep!
I really enjoy the way Jamie brings prophesy to life, and makes everything in the Bible more relatable. I’ve read all of the books in this series and they are all great! Love her writing style!
