My love for her eclipses everything. Even her everlasting hatred…
My beautiful Celeste has every reason to hate me. I took my fated mate against her will because I need to claim her to unlock my dangerous curse.
She’s only just beginning to understand that nothing about her old life is as it seems, and that to survive in my world, she must learn to harness her supernatural side.
To gain her trust, I agree to help her uncover more about her past, and I sense her feelings for me shifting. But I could never anticipate the dark secrets awaiting her, nor the determination of my enemies, who are attempting to destroy us.
With even my closest allies in question, Celeste is in real danger. I will do anything to protect her. Anything except opening up to her about my brutal past and risking her eternal loathing…
Never a dull moment. Full of drama and suspense. Celeste needs to learn how to use her powers quickly. She’s going to need them with her enemies at the front gate. Fenris does his best to protect her, keep her safe, but that’s easier said than done and there is no time to waste.
🤔 OBSERVATIONS:
✒︎This is a book of various paranormal ‘others’…. It’s interesting seeing how vampires, witches, wolves etc. team up and work together. Alliances form, both the good and the bad. And who’s the winner? Looks like we’ll need to continue reading to know that answer.
✒︎ Since I didn’t read the first book, I appreciated being able to keep up and fill in a lot of what had happened. However, as intriguing as this is, I do believe reading the first book would be helpful. If the suspense in this book is any Indication, I’m betting the series starter it’s good too. I want to know what happened in Antartica…. sounds ominous.
✒︎ Couldn’t help but feel badly for Fenris in how he obtained all those scars. I don’t know how he is as stable as he now is… he’s one strong alpha.
✒︎ Just who is Celeste? Or maybe I should ask, what is Celeste? I mean really? Does she even know? Wait till you read that last chapter…. Whoa, what happened? Again I ask, just who and what is Celeste? I’m thinking she will have a new name…. called Aunty Karma. Her enemies and frenemies better watch out, she’s ready to attack and just obtained a new power.
✒︎ Ex-fiancé Ben…. I have many questions about him. I’m thinking there’s more to him than meets the eye. Has he teamed up with Sabine, the powerful witch-vampire?
✒︎ There are intimate scenes throughout. If those bother you, it’s easy to skip and not miss anything in the plot.
✒︎ Lot of questions to be answered. Who is Sabine’s sister and what did Lyka do to her? If Lyka is the problem, why go after Fenris? And what will happen at that eclipse?.

Woot! Another book to continue the story of Celeste and Fenrir. Avoiding spoilers, the book picked up exactly where the first one ended… which is perfect is a series like this. Our characters continue to dive into their relationship which is not a common set up (if you haven’t read the first book, it’ll be hard to get into this book for awhile as it doesn’t re-explain everything you already missed). That being noted; everything gets better as far as the story goes and the thing we learn about the past and what our main couple faces. (Avoiding any teasers or spoilers here). If you enjoyed book 1, I recommend grabbing 2 - how can you not want to see where things go? BUT if you haven’t read book 1, stop and grab that then get going in this one! Such a good read, long length but filled with an overall good story.

As the story continues Celeste is plagued by dreams which she struggles to understand. With attacks against the Order occurring and his need to protect Celeste Fenrir takes her to his island. But more is going on that meets the eye and Sabine gets closer than any of them could ever imagine causing Celeste to try harder with her magic while Fenrir tries to find out more of Celeste's background to try and help her. Full of intrigue, suspense, danger and betrayal, you will literally be on the edge of your seat as you read this. I can't wait for the next installment to find out what happens next.

OMG! I cannot believe how it ended what a cliffhanger! I really cannot wait for the final part to this series!
What a storyline, simply brilliant, so many shocks and surprises you just cannot put it down.
The heat level between Celeste and Fenris is hot, hot, hot! So many wonderful characters both good and bad, you just want to jump into the storyline with them.
Recommended read!.

Celeste and Fenris are back and they are still trying to unravel their secrets. This book builds on the blocks of the previous ones and we find out more about Fenris and what Celeste is capable of. They both get closer. Celeste is trying to work on her powers and work out if she is in love with Fenris, whilst he is trying to save everyone. This story gets darker every book. There is way more to untangle and I am pretty sure there will be some dark secrets spilled in the next book. This is a great instalment. 5 stars.
Book 2 is a continuation of Celeste and Fenrir’s story. Celeste doesn’t understand the dreams she keeps having. The things happening to her are confusing and upsetting. With Fenrir trying to protect Celeste, he takes her to his island. They are trying to find out more information on Celeste’s background. And Celeste needs to get a handle on her magic or they won’t survive. There is plenty of danger and suspense, much going on in this story. It will keep the reader paying attention all the way through!
Continuation from Book 1 and picks up right where they left off. Celeste is still trying to figure out what her “dreams” mean. Fenrir is not sure what to believe from her dreams as he is not sure if someone is “messing” with her. All Fenrir wants to do is protect Celeste and help her hone her “magic”.
Lots of challenges, secrets, drama, danger, suspense, and betrayal. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Celeste feels betrayed by Sabine. She got in her mind a lot earlier than Celeste thought. She gave Sabine the location of Lyka. Sabine wanted revenge for her sisters death. Fenris has to learn to share his house with 7 people. They start to drive him crazy. They finally locate Faulkner. And a raid on his house turns up lots of new vampires. Some that are only seeking blood. Two of the house guests turn on them. In the next book the hunt is on for Sabine.
My goodness! This book was awesome. All the action scenes were very realistic, and you can use your imagination and actually see them. My favorite characters are the twins and the young wolf shifter. The sex scenes were outstanding. Excellent reading.
Fenris is hyper focused on persuading Celeste to agree to becoming his mate. Following his last death and her realisation of what his loss would mean to her she's coming round to the idea.
The second part of this trilogy sees Fenris and his friends battle psychotic vampires and an ancient power crazy witch. All the while trying to protect his mate whilst she learns to use her long buried powers.
This really is a fantastic roller-coaster of a read jumping from one moment of action to another. All the while charting the growing relationship between the two main characters. I can't wait for the last in the series.

“Is it really too much to ask to have a few moments of peace and quite?”
Let me be clear upfront since once again nothing in the blurb explains this: the book is a cliffhanger and part two of a three part story about the same couple. I didn’t know this when I read the first book and by the time I found out I was stuck because, duh! I have to find out how it all ends.
This book continues Fenris and Celeste’s story and even though he’s a shifter, which is what Skye writes, in this world there are also other paranormals running around, which is cool and kind of different. I can’t say much about it either without giving away plot from part one but I really like the characters and the story itself. I must or I wouldn’t still be reading them. I’m now waiting very impatiently for the last part to see how it all turns out. I hate waiting. This is why I dislike cliffhangers….
Celeste is running a tour on her last day at work, she meets Fenris, the man she has been dreaming about and it changes her life. She is a scientist and doesn't believe in supernatural things, but that is where Fenris comes in and turns her world upside down. She realises that her upcoming wedding shouldn't take place as her fiancé doesn't really care about her and that she is Fenris's fated mate.
I am excited to find out what happens in the next book. I enjoyed reading this story and would recommend it.

This second book is as dramatic and enthralling as the first. The emotions are growing, powers are expanding, traveling is being done and surprises are all over. So worth continuing the series!.

This is the second installment in Celeste and Fenris storyline and it did not disappoint. Plenty of things going on to keep the storyline interesting. Celeste and Fenris are still learning about each other and deciding if they can trust in each other and themselves. There are attacks from the psychic witch Sabine both direct and indirect as well as troublesome vampires thrown in the mix. There are questions still to be answered about the motive of the attacks and who is the one causing them. Is it the Solar Sovereign or Sabine and as we learn more about Celeste and Fenris there are questions to be answered there too. I will definitely read the next installment as the story continues to find out.

Celeste and Fenrir are in a bundle of trouble, with vision nightmares, an island with brother Lyka, witch Sabine vengeance, and more. Really gets your heart pumping with all the action and intrigue. Who took Celeste from the battle? So many questions so onward to the next book.

I enjoyed this Shifter story with a paranormal twist to it. It is exciting, little danger, action, excitement but also enough tension and steamy moments between the main characters,
