From the USA Today bestselling author comes a dark, sinful story filled with steamy scenes and a rocky road that’s raw, unapologetic, and carnal.

“Greed was my vice. A sin that led to my addiction.”

Love was not an option for Nate. He didn’t want it. Didn’t claim it. Until her.

I hid the monster from everyone, including myself.
Emotions were firmly locked away.
As much control as I had in my life, I could never control my heart.

Eva exposed me.
She begged and pleaded,
and I swore I'd make her kneel.
And when she finally did,
I broke the only jewel I ever owned.

*This is a dark erotic romance with BDSM elements. Due to scenes of an adult nature, this book is for 18+ ONLY.

Kneel is the first installment in the new Sins of Seven series by Dani Rene. If I had to describe this book in only two words, those words would be dark and dirty. Lucky for me, that’s just the way I like them!

Nate is a Dominant that derives pleasure from humiliating and degrading women. Their tears feed the monster that lies within him. He never has a woman for more than one night, because there is no point. Monsters can’t love. They can only destroy. He learned that lesson early on, so he believes he is actually doing the women he’s with a favor by discarding them quickly. Nate never had trouble walking away from anyone until he met Eva.

Eva’s father died when she was just a teenager. She endured things after that no child should have to. After leaving the hell she called home, she befriended a man named Carrick that introduced her to the world of bdsm. From the very beginning, she knew that it was a world she needed to be a part of. Eva is a submissive whose tastes lean a little on the dark side. She likes it rough, but if it seems nonconsensual, she likes it even better. On the night she meets Nate, he gives her what she craves sexually, but what she doesn’t expect is for him to take a piece of her heart in the process.

Against Nate’s better judgement, he asks for one more night with Eva. She agrees, and that night turns into weeks. Neither of them have ever felt more at peace with anyone else and ending their time together isn’t something either of them can imagine. Unfortunately, that might not be up to them. An outside force has had a hand in their relationship from the beginning, and they possess the ability to devastate them both.

Kneel is an erotic bdsm romance with a broken asshole hero and a sweet, shattered heroine. The author’s writing style kept me flipping the pages, the story held my interest, and the sex was intense and abundant. As for the characters, I’m not going to say that I loved Nate, because I didn’t. Assholes are my kryptonite, but there was something about him that frustrated me throughout much of the story. However, I understood why he was the way he was, and in the end, I wanted him and Eva together. She deserved her happy ending, and I felt a lot for her character. Nate and Eva are two tortured souls that recognize the broken parts of each other and together they are made whole. This book might not be for everyone, but if you like your romance dark and depraved with a minimal amount of sweetness sprinkled in for good measure, this might be the book for you!

I had a hard time getting into this one. I found myself unable to become emotionally invested into the main couples relationship. I just didn’t feel that it was in depth enough.. Another issue I had with the story is that there was a lot of repetition, it actually became distracting to me at times.

Even with these issues, I will admit that I’m willing to read a few more books in the series to see if it gets better. There is a side character who will be the hero in the third instalment! I want to read his book! Lol Fingers crossed it will capture my attention way better!!!

Sooooo.....
I've finished this one last night, picked it up on a whim, totally unexpected nor planned...and I had a good vibe flowing all over me from the beginning....

it was dark, it was provocative, it was alluring and thrilling...and I also got an idea that this would be somehow more psychologically explored in a sense of seven deadly sins...

BUT it didn't reach that effect with me, even though it had all the predispositions...

Now, why 3 stars?

Even though, i actually liked the story, well most of it, in general and the writing was good, being also my first contact with this author's work, I also had a crippling notion that, while I have read plenty plenty of books with this topic, the disappointing feeling I got when this one ended up leaving me flat and empty, inspite my primar excitment, was a major set back.

I eventually found the story stereotipic, and whereas I actually thought the subcontext and psychological approach would in fact bring this story to a higher level thus making it closer to a masterpiece, it was just a solid vision of inner search of both characters' self-worth in finding the release or the essence of themselves while exploring their deepest dark desires, pushing the limits of a Dom/sub relationship ...but their interactrions being based on a false approach where the trust should be guaranteed by the main hero, it didn't work for me, and I didn't get that crucial connection, unfortunately.

Secondly, the "emotional" connection started like an INSTA-thing and that well, kinda didn't fit into the whole Dom/sub combo either, if you get my drift.

However, I m intrigued by this author's writing in general and I'm quite sure I'll be looking out for the her future works :)

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!
I don't even know where to start with this review as to how much I freaking love this book.
Firstly thank you to Dani for writing a book that has crawled into my soul and buried itself so deep that I will never forget it.
Nate is without a doubt the biggest asshole and throughout this entire story, he rips my heart out repeatedly but then he stuffs it back in there and makes me smile through the whole ordeal even when there are tears in my eyes. This is beyond any BDSM type book that you will ever read, there is so much depth and the emotions that it provokes, just wow. Saying that, don't get me wrong, there is some serious sex in this book and the depravity is on a whole new level. Dani has crawled into the minds of her readers and got into the most dark corners of our minds and shown us just what we are all too shy to ask for.
This is book one of a new series and I can tell you now that I am salivating over the future books.

Only if you like BDSM will you like this book. A sexual charge book that reveal the culture of the lifestyle. Nate was a greedy man and always had vices that got him in trouble gambling, drugs anything he can over do and get addicted to. That is until he found his true calling, being a Dominate. Nate was never with the same girl one night with him is all any submissive got. Until he got in trouble with some debt and had to dig himself out by following a list by his benefactor. The last name on the list was Eva the beauty/submissive I had to have her humiliate her for one night until I couldn't get enough my addiction in full affect. I wanted more. Eva was beautiful, challenging she expose me begged me and wanted me for the true monster I was, that was until I hurt the only person who loved me for who I really was.

Absolutely without any storyline, just sex and sex and more sex. I've read a few books in bdsm genre that were very sexy and sensual, but this book made me uncomfortable most of the time and was far beyond my comfort zone.

I dont like this book. This book lacks of originality. The beginning og it really similar to FSOG. Down to the contract. Even though in this book the contract is not detailed.
The characters also very confusing. Their development grow into many opposite direction.

Eva is sweet sometimes, then she becomes angry with no appearant reason. Then becomes confuse over nothing. Nate is also confusing. He is dominant, then becomes soft all of the sudden. Brooding for no reason at all.

I think the author wants to bring suspense to the story but fail miserably.

Book one in the Sins of Seven series pulls no punches, so if you're expecting a romantic read with darkish overtones, this book is so not it.

Kneel is graphic, & gritty & it's unapologetic in its exploration of the sexual tastes of those of whom most of us have only ever read about - or secretly watch with rapt fascination on redtube or tumblr. Or so I've heard. From a friend.

Delving into the world of BDSM in a way I've not read before, this story elicited near every emotion from me. Appalled to aroused and back again, my heart, mind and body were all over the map as I absorbed the many facets of Nate and Eva, and the like-minded individuals in their story.

The hero is a mess. The heroine is a mess. And you, my dark romance book lovers, will no doubt be a mess reading it. All of which I'm sure is EXACTLY what the author intended when she invited us into this world, into this exploration of the seven deadly sins.

As usual with a Dani René novel, there is also an additional underlying "OMFG" plot at play in this story, and Jay-Sussss, it's a doozy! Switched on readers will suspect early what it is, but in typical fashion for this author, I wouldn't bet your first born that you've got it right.

Kneel is not a romantic love story, but make no mistake, it is a story about love. It just may not look like the kind of love you've seen (or read) before.

Bring on the next Sins of Seven book, and given some of the characters I've just met in Kneel, a few names easily spring to mind.

Well, bugger. I think (and this is probably my fault) I was expecting something deeper. I wanted a really dark romance, a good 'ol BDSM zinger. Something to make me a little uncomfortable. But I feel like I read something a little too surface, with very little character development and a choppy plot. I'm just gonna quote a few things here - warning, lots of spoilers ahead!

You know, the writing itself, namely grammar and spelling, was totally fine. Some of it was quite lovely. A little poetic, even. But the actual story weaving was weak, sadly.

Unashamedly hot….

I am totally enamoured with this book..beautifully written and so erotic and sexy…this new series follows the exploits of a select and salacious group of men and women who pass through the doors of Club Seven Sins and into the enticing and indulgent inner sanctum beyond…now that is one membership I would gladly pay the fees for…

The author is one of my all time favourites and this book epitomises the reason for my admiration….the writing is skilful and and the characters are fascinating, complete and believable…Nate is such a wanker, self centred and avaricious but he also has such a deliciously filthy way with words…..he is that special kind of dominant asshole which makes him undeniably attractive and charismatic…. Eva is a beautiful, passionate woman who enters Nate’s sensual world of pain and domination intrigued but also filled with trepidation …together their chemistry is volcanic and when it erupts there is no place left to hide from the desires and yearning of their hearts….. but their journey is one of self doubt and denial their past’s rule their present and their potential future…after all not every love story ends in happy ever after…

I now impatiently anticipate the stories of the remaining six sinners and their wicked ways…Carrick, who appears to be the  ‘glutton’ is top of my list…this was an absolute unputdownable addictive must read this book should come with a warning…..all who enter beware for having accessed the decadent world of Club Seven Sins you may never want to leave….I received an ARC of this book from the author…

This book is the first in a series of seven and I can't wait to read all of them. If you like stories with BDSM, this book is for you! I was enthralled thru this whole book. It's the story of Nathan, a Dominant who based on the description in the book is a total hottie! And Eva, a submissive Nathan becomes enamored with. Nathan doesn't believe love is in the cards for him until he meets Eva, but something is holding him back. Eva had a rough time growing up and wasn't sure if a man could love her. If you want to know more, then please read this book! It is an amazingly hot read and you won't be disappointed! Can't wait for the next Sin to read about!

I received an ARC copy if this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Dani René!

Wow. This book is beautiful in a rough around the edges, raw, carnal, way. It will rip you open and make you feel so much.

Typically, one thinks of a BDSM book as simply a single layered, uncomplicated plot, which is is singularly about sex. This book proves all believers of that statement above wrong. This book is complex both in plot and characters. It will suck you in from the first chapter, and claim you until the very end. You will kneel and become a submissive to this book (see what I did there? That's what 12 am review writing by me gets you guys).

I found my eyes watering as Eva's were, and I felt my heart ache alongside hers. There were many scenes which were hard to read, but that were integral to the book. These scenes (pun intended), are so emotionally packed. It's hard bot to experience what Eva is with René's talented writing.

René is one of my favourite authors because she brings life, a million emotions, and humanity to her books. Her characters live and breathe and are not bound to the paper of the pages, or pixels of the screen. They, along with the stories, become living entities.

I have nothing negative to say about this book. Absolutely perfect.

If this is the first of a series,i’m going to have to brace myself for what’s to come...damn,this was a beauty! Eva ran from a dark place at 16 and found a friend in Carrick. He showed her what she was made of and gave her a place to live and work. Nate sees himself as a dark person,a man incapable of love. They meet at Carrick’s club for a scene and at first it seems that’s all,until....What happens at that scene and why....and what happens after? I can’t tell you! You need to read for yourself, trust me! My head is still spinning....

EPIC! AMAZING! A MUST read! Dani Rene's Kneel is utterly brilliant!

Nathan does not do feelings, whatsoever. In turn, his passion is BDSM. Well, degrading and humiliating women anyway. Nate gets off it and the women...well, they like it, love really. Nate also does not do more than one night with any submissive. Period. Enter Eva who catches his eye, he wants her for more than one night.

Eva lost her dad when she was just a teenager. In turn, she ran away from her mother and her mother’s no good boyfriend. Then she met Carrick who introduced her to the world of BDSM, specifically a dom/sub relationship. When she meets Nathan, she wants to be his sub more than anything.

Nathan and Eva have great chemistry. The sex between them is fire, complete fire. However, there is a third person in the “relationship” that can doom it before it even gets started. Nathan wants more with Eva but he is scared. Can Eva break down his walls? Will this “third” person ruin their relationship?

Kneel is so addicting, I could not put this book down. I for one, have never been one for dark romances. Ever. I would always say no, no matter how great the blurb was. However, I have been turned to the dark side! Dani Rene has made me a lover for dark romances!

Five stars across the board.

Greed, by definition is the intense and selfish desire for something, especially wealth, power, or food. Now, let's get a little naughty and add sex into the mix and what do we get? Kneel!
Kneel, is the first book in the Sins of Seven series. It isn't for those faint of hearts, but if you're into the dark, you're going to love this, I promise.
Nate, the Dominant, is by his own admission, well... greedy. He knows it, owns up to it and like all seven deadly sins is ruined by it.
Eva, the Submissive, is just that. She's been broken by the one who should protect you and feeds her demons by degradation and humiliation. What brings these two together? Well, read it because I can't tell you...
This book completely sucked me in, stripped me bare and put me back together again. The hightened emotional state this book put me in was incredible. I found myself holding my breath just waiting to see what would happen next. If this is how this series has begun, I can't wait to see where the other decadent sins will take me.
Definitely looking forward to the next one.

I gave this book 5 Stars!

First off let me say if your not a fan of dark, angst, BDSM books then this book isn't for you. This is the first book in the Sin of Seven Series and is not for the faint of Heart!!!

This book was just what I need to get me out of my book funk that I have been in lately. SO Thank You Dani!!! I was intrigue from the synopsis and knew that I was going to be in for a wild ride with this book. When you have an opening chapter like the first one in this book, you are hooked and there is no way anyone is going to be able to down. I simply devoured it in a couple hour after the kids and hubby went to bed. Ladies, let just say that a man like Nate will have your panties wet and you wanting to do whatever he says. This book is dark, twisted, rough, raw, carnal, evil, and Greed.

Nate is a man of Greed one of the seven sins! He is a Dominate, who becomes enamored with Eva a submissive. He doesn't believe in love and knows its not in the cards for him. Eva had a rough time growing up and wasn't sure if a man could love her. What happens when Nate and Eva worlds collide? Read to find out!!!

Cant wait to read what Sin we will get next!!!

Kneel is book one in the Sins of Seven series. What a fantastic start to a series.

Nathan is a dom but he doesn’t have the same sub more than once. Enter Eva who is a sub. Everything changes. He wants her but he’s built up walls to protect himself. Can Eva break down those walls?

The chemistry between Nathan and Eva is off the charts.

I absolutely loved the story and read it in one evening. I just couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait to read more of this series.

Sir Nate has left me Greedy for more.

Dani has done it again. Each of her stories are their own little surprises and this one was no exception. Nate is the maestro of his craft and knows how to play on a woman's desires and body like a fine tuned instrument. He feels his life with control and mastery and has forgone love. Until he is introduced to Submissive Eva.

description

Eva's tale is truly heartbreaking. With all she has been through, she never made herself believe that she can be loved for her soul.

The characters and their story really resonates with the readers soul. The story is multilayered and complex, with so much emotion, angst, tearjerkers and of course some hot and heavy action that will definitely make you kneel and submit.

This is one of my top ten reads for far and I cannot wait to meet the other couples and their sins, and maybe indulge in my own through them.

**Review of the audiobook**

STORY
A friend warned me, telling me this book was your basic, boilerplate BDSM romance and she was correct. Yes, KNEEL is very predictable and not at all unique but, I did still enjoy it! It’s definitely not an extraordinary or special story, it‘s a story I’ve read many times before, but it’s well told, sexy and entertaining.

PERFORMANCE
I listened to the Audible audiobook narrated by Troy Duran & Elizabeth Hart. Both delivered flawless performances from start to finish. However, both could greatly benefit from acting lessons. It often felt like I was listening to a game show host while listening to Duran’s portions.

Welcome to the dark, dirty and depraved world of Seven Sins. Here you’ll find a love story, just not the kind you’re used to. Dani Rene has brought us to a new level of BDSM with Kneel, the first book in her new Sins of Seven series.

Eva is a broken girl with a grueling past. She comes to Seven Sins looking for a way to unleash her demons. She wants the depravity and the humiliation. She begs to be used by him, for him to give her everything he can.

“He’s going to give me one last memory.
Pain.
Punishment.
Pleasure.”

Nate is a man who exudes confidence and sex appeal. He’s selfish and he owns it. He prides himself on being a monster without emotion. Until her. She finds what is beneath the suit and tie, what lies beyond the monster.

“You need someone who’ll calm your storm.
I need someone who’s going to dance in my f***ing hurricane.”

Dani is one of my favorite authors and she just gets better and better. She has a way of making sinful debauchery into exquisite art through her words. Kneel is brutal, carnal, and unapologetic. It is everything that makes up a dark romance, and then some.

Nate is a self-centered a**! He is alpha to the core and makes you crave his kind of love. He gripped ahold of my heart, yanked it out and stomped into the ground. After taking my emotions through the ringer, he offered back up the bloody mess with bits of him interwoven. There is no way to get him out now. He’s mine, go find your own book boyfriend. He is just so HOT!

Eva is so much stronger than I could ever hope to be. She may be a broken mess, but she doesn’t give up. She searches for a way to deal with her pain. With a past like hers it’s hard to imagine how she survived without becoming just a shell of a person. She has and deserves my respect for living through that hell.

I cannot wait for the next books in the Sins of Seven series. A little birdy may have mentioned that book two is in the editing stages. I may or may not have done a happy dance. Dani, I love your words and the way you draw me into your world of debauchery. Keep them coming girl! FIVE erotically broken stars!

Oh my Dani René has brought us back to our dark and dirty minds with her next book Kneel!! It's not for the faint of heart so there's your warning ;-)

"Exquisite"

Kneel is the first book in the Sins of Seven and it is exactly what it says each story will cover one of the seven deadly sins. Greed, Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath and Envy.
In Kneel we get Greed!!

Image Hosting by PictureTrail.com

Raw, Emotional, Intense and Beautiful, these are just some of the words i would use to describe this read. Two dark and troubled souls come together, one a man who loves and needs to dominate to the point of tears on his partner to him he's a monster incapable of being loved.

The other a woman who craves and needs darkness to her troubled soul. Their Connection and Chemistry is so strong and the way they take, pull and give to each other is both heartbreaking at times and heartwarming at others. Nate and Eva were and are perfect for each other.

Image Hosting by PictureTrail.com

Their Pain and realisation of what they have found in each other will leave you with so many feels. That Nate and Eva captivate you page after page with their lows and their highs.

Kneel was a dark and beautiful story and if you can see past the degradation. You'll find yourself enjoying an intense, emotional love story. I can't wait to see what Dani brings us with the next six deadly sins!!

Read on behalf of Two Darlin' Dolls and a Book Review.

"Greed is my vice. A sin that leads to my addictions. One of the seven deadly sins to be exact."

This was my first book by Dani René and boy did it start off with a bang. The prologue will draw you in and hold you captive until the very last word.

“I told you once, Eva. I will make you kneel. Do it. Kneel.”

Nathan has one vice and it's Greed. He is a one night and one scene man who has always had some form of addiction in his life. So automatically I was smitten with him.
Evangeline is a sexy, young woman who has had a rough life. She has never been in love and has never really wanted to. Even though they have a strong connection instantly sometimes it's not enough.

"You need someone who’ll calm your storm.”
"I need someone who’s going to dance in my fucking hurricane and not run from it."

This is a raw, dark and gritty story. Throughout the whole book I was trying to unearth what both characters were hiding and I was definitely surprised when everything came to light. The plot was amazing and if you are anything like me, you will fall in love with the side characters.

"Deep in my soul, I find freedom and a sense of self in this punishment. "

Like many Dom/sub relationships, this one is complicated. Dani has a great way of walking you in and then getting you into the BDSM lifestyle. Although every relationship is different, and not all are this combative or dirty, some start and continue on like this. So be warned.

Nate and Eva start out their relationship with a very hot and heavy scene. Nate does not do more than one night. So after their one night, Nate can't believe he wants more. But with the darkness that comes out of him, will Eva be able to handle him?

Eva is not all she seems. There is so much more to this great woman, but there has to be a man to make her even better. That man just might be Nate.
I loved reading this book. And I can't wait to read the next one.

This book is simply incredible!
I was so honored to be able to read this book as a beta reader for Dani Rene.
This book is dark, which is Dani's specialty. So if your familiar with her work, you'll love Kneel. This book took me on such an emotional roller coaster ride from page one till the end.
This story contains BDSM, and a lot of scenes that might be considered taboo or too racy. But if you enjoy stories that are not sweet and simple, but prefer really gritty love that doesn't make sense to the outside world, then this story is it.

Greed --

My emotions are a mess! Nate & Eva's story will tear heart to shreds but at the same time, you will be begging for more. I couldn't help but fall in love with Eva, she is stronger than her 22 years. Everything about her is beautifully broken perfection. Nate is domineering and what he thinks he wants starts to change with Eva. Love can exist in a world filled with darkness but, you have to be vulnerable & honest! The amount of steamy sex will make you need multiple showers by the time this book ends.

Dani Rene slays another wonderful book...her writing will captivate you and draws you into the world of Seven Sins!
