Lisa dispels all the common misconceptions about this diverse religion, giving her readers the perfect foundations for taking their first steps on their Wiccan journey.
Unlike other Wicca guides, Lisa's books provide information that's found across many Wiccan traditions, rather than coming from just one person's perspective. In fact, she writes the kinds of books she wishes had been available when she was just starting out in the Craft all those years ago.
When not writing or experimenting with spellwork, Lisa loves to read, play piano, and spend time surrounded by nature.
I practice these but use little tools other than my mind, intention setting, and the occasional crystal and candle. I love the way these books produced by and via Lisa Chamberlain are always so accessible and open and giving the background is so important and just enough information for interest but not overwhelm. And. I especially like the invocation suggestions at the end for ancestor work. Thank you.
A fairly good overview, I think? I’m not very familiar with hedge witchcraft and don’t particularly resonate with it, but it gave me the main points. I’m still a little fuzzy on some details, but I suppose that’s where I’d dive deeper with further reading and experimentation if I were wanting to learn more.
This is a great guide book on hedge witchcraft, its quick and to the point although short it contains a lot on information on starting off as a hedge witch it also contains some recipes at the end. A must have for any witch.
