Leo the Lizard, by Ed Shankman, is a wonderful book that I totally recommend and is very heartfelt! Even if you have a friend that is a bit different than you, and loves to be alone and do nothing instead of lie around, just know that will (hopefully) be paying attention to the world around them.

Leo the Lazy Lizard by Ed Shankman and illustrated by Dave O’Neill is one of the best children’s books we have ever read! It is so beautifully written and has a wonderful message.
